An Electrical Natural Vampire Mystery Selene looked around. Nice and quiet. She sat down on a bench nearby and thought about her interactions with those kids in gym and the teacher. Interesting bunch, they are. And that Darien, he just didn't suit her as a gym teacher really, which only made her wonder why that job of all the jobs on campus.
Ah well. She wasn't here to judge. Why was she here anyway? Like she knew. She had no reason to be here anymore, but at the same time, maybe it was a good time to take a break from her traveling around. Not that a spirit gets tired of wandering, but still. A break sounds nice. She sounded like an old hag settling down. Ugh.

you've yet to realise what is to come... and trying to rest then will not yield good results... suddenly echoed an odd voice in Selene's head. it was then everything started to slow down... as if time were coming to a stop. Color faded to grey, sound stretched and then muted... and everything turned cold... "I don't believe you've met me. Selene Artemis." Husk chuckled with the voice of a very young girl. "I am known as 'Husk' for now, being only an empty vessel of what once was something very powerful..." he then echoed again, his voice now like a sickly man's.

An Electrical Natural Vampire Mystery Selene looked up as the voice echoed in her head. Huh. She looked on calmly as time around her slowed and the temperature dropped. The voice, no longer in her head, echoed in different tones. "What's with everything around this campus and showing off their abilities?" She said, looking back down at the ground, before sitting back in the bench. "I'm not talking anymore unless you decide to show yourself to me. I want to see what's talking to me, powerful or not." She said, her gaze moving straight forward.

" what abilities? this happens almost all the time when i feel like talking to someone. but very well... " husk echoed and appeared sitting right next to Selene, just as calm as she was. "but the time delay is easier than trying to deal with the mundanes giving odd looks or panicking at the sight of me." he added, "I've been watching this place for a while. Quite a bit has happened around here, and it's caught my interest. But, do you know about the future?"

An Electrical Natural Vampire Mystery Selene glanced at the side at the one who appeared. She crossed her arms. "Sorry, just a personal thing." She said, shrugging. She looked at him for a moment, before answering. "I've no interest in the future until it happens. Nor was I created to have a hand in it. I would assume from your demeanor however that you do?" She said. Her tone held no fear of this being that sat by her, merely slightly piqued curiosity.

"That's the point right there... the future..." Husk chuckled again. "You take it too lightly. I was an angel at one point... an angel of death... yet. I disliked having to take everyone away... so i look at the possible futures... nothing's set in stone, so you could say I try to steer to where there are as few deaths as possible, though there are times where there are lessons to be learned." he echoed, and turned his head to look at Selene. "So your'e telling me you don't care, even if everyone you cared about were to cease to exist within the next few days? no bodies... forgotten by everyone else... even the destruction of this place and many others? Quite niave of you... I have to admit, there are only a select few that harbor no emotion towards others than negative ones, but i haven't seen you as one of them, perhaps your future will be bleak... I can already see four of them just by how this conversation goes alone."

An Electrical Natural Vampire Mystery Selene sighed. "The future, is complicated. That's the only way I see it." She said, before elaborating. "I'm not the type to have many people close enough to me to say that I care about them truly. But I suppose you have a point. After all, callous emotion towards watching people I was originally created to protect I suppose would completely go against my nature." She said, thinking about it. "Bleak you say? Huh. I assume you must know what I am. Whether I live or die, my future is quite...unknown, even to me. I'd prefer you not give me spoilers that may ruin the 'surprise,' either." She said, making air quotes around surprise. She was quite for a moment. "But...I do admit this campus is interesting. Interesting enough to keep me here when I really have no reason to stay any longer. Things are happening here. And not just things you're aware of either. You see...you may know a lot yourself, but do you think, that you see everything that is preparing to happen here?"

It's a wonder this place is still standing after all the attention it's managed to attract to itself over its lifetime." She commented. "As for you. You can't tell me you merely showed yourself just to have a casual conversation about futures, did you?" She asked, looking around at the gray surroundings, the slowed time of the things that were in the area when Husk appeared.

"Oh no, I'm here because a certain someone wanted me to do a few favors, and I have my own business here as well. It's a rather critical one... has to do with some major figures that I've dealt with before, but they're getting out of hand over the last couple centuries." Husk replied, "You see, there's a few particular 'students' who have quite some potential, and there's one figure in particular that's already almost finished with causing a future that will crack this place in half, quite literally with the start of his operation alone. I'm sure if I can give my little hints here and there things will turn out for the better of most. But what's the glorious dawn without the dark night to come before?"

"A few with potential that are actually key parts in this particular future, soley because of what's already happened..." Husk clarified. "But yes, everyone with such power all here is already like a cluster of nuclear bombs waiting to detonate... but yes, his plans are to literally blast this place apart to search for powerful artifacts, ones that will make him even stronger so that he can take over... and he isn't going to do this himself, no, he's manipulating those key people... which is why I'm here. Even though he thinks I'm his servant, he's dead wrong. No, i'm here to survey him and how he plans to do this exactly so I can use the proper method to shift the tides of fate..." Husk went on, his voice changing every now and then from male to female, from young to old... from attractive to grotesque... "Though, there's no such thing as total peace for this place. Lives will be lost no matter how I try to shift the timelines. There will be suffering, tests, you could call them to see if they can do the things that will lead to the future that is hopefully best for them... and noone is exempt... why, even myself, this is my test... to see if I can do it right... to earn my place back as a true angel... not some empty vessel... but I;ve yet to mention you... of course... you dont wish for me to reveal anything. That's fine, but it's just an offer. What if I told you, there's a possibility of coming out of the any drastic changes completely happy? Maybe... with that certain someone... like i said, just little hints."

I have no ability to do so myself, but I know enough to know that if not by the right person, it can be dangerous." She thought about it for a moment. "I think...I may know a girl on campus who could give you more of an opinion on it...but she needs assistance with her memories. But, that's only if you want that assistance." She shrugged. Completely happy though, huh? "Let me tell you something...from how I was created, why I was created...nature and her mysterious ways is a being that I trust with every last fiber of myself. I think that...if there was a way to come out of this madness happy and with no regrets, if she wishes it so, I'll see it happen." She smirked. "But I guess I won't close my ears to your hints. What's the fun in life without cheating a little bit?"

"Indeed, it has its risks..." Husk nodded slightly, though hearing an offer of actually having a better chance at getting things right he turned back to her once again. "Is that so? Well now I don't think I would mind having someone help if they're able. Though I do have a tidbit I can give without revealing too much for you." he went on again, his body seeming to fade from existence as everything regained color, sound and mobility around them. "To do the completely opposite of what you stand for. It may seem impossible, but it may spell salvation for many. Those who seem unable to be saved... have their own hidden key to freedom somewhere, it just needs to be found at the right time."
