Woods, unspecified area.
The sound of construction had filled the air for a long time. First it was was heavy earth movers and chainsaws going full tilt, day in and out. Inquiring minds were turned away by signs indicating it was becoming a whole new JSDF and US Marine Corp training area, and other things. It was in lands held by the university and while there were several anti-war groups ready to take a stance, they would find their telecom and internet efforts mysteriously targetted and erased.
That said, a lone figure stood atop a black Land Rover Defender. Dressed in Multicam BDUs, she was directing the score of people constructing the place. Already the administrative buildings and bus depot was up, the underground foundations setup. She was awaiting the finishing construction of the firebase, and already a chain link fence topped with razor wire had fenced off the area. She nodded as she signed off on something, as more and more trucks came in with concrete, and rogue mages aged it to maturity as they were poured. Machinery to start creating the magitech weapons and vehicles were coming in thanks to Miss Lingshen.
"Echo Base is a go ma'am." Said an aide, and all Katerine could do is smile. It'll be interesting, this next Mahorafest.

Iziz arrived at a clearing to find it deserted but a note stating he was the only one available among campus security. With a sigh he settled on a branch of a tree and began to make his strategy.

 Wolf FormShe should have stopped by the counselor's office first....oh well...The wolf form of Aoi Hoshi now padded through the forest, avoiding too much trouble for the sake of hunting something down that would help her avoid the cafeteria this time around. She just had to be careful and wary of the chain of her amulet, which in her wolf form always hung freely, but the chain was still broken, held together by the mere knot that cat demon boy had made. I shouldn't complain though...he did save my life, at least. She owed him a bit of gratitude for that much.

But hse was there at teh grounds. She was the one who tried to stop him from killing his target. He had to kill this one. "She must die. Or Allen will never finish his job." He muttered, stuck in third person like before. He shook his head, whimpering to himself a little bit. He was on edge, his mentality suffering the most. It was because of the fight earlier, but he would have to bite through it he supposed. He spied on her as he bit into his own fist, hard enough to draw a good amount of his own genetically dirty beast blood. It was the only pain keeping him focused right now. Otherwise he'd jump right out from his hiding and just go crazy. But that would gte him killed. He didn't want that.I can't feel the way I did beforexxxxxx

 Allen didn't follow for long. A burst of wind blew the boy aside, before a long ceremonial like dagger struck the ground very close to Allen's hand. Allen scowled and got up, tearing his sleeve on the dagger adn running away.
Abel walked into view, picking up the dagger and putting it away as he folded in his wings. "Cowards..." He growled in his rough voice. He had planned to go see the headmaster of the school and speak to him about his Master Friday, but there were humans in there, and it wouldn't have been possible for Abel to just walk in. The furred humanoid wolf sighed. "I could go back into my regular form, but...a ragged wolf walking in would have been just as strange." he shook his head and sighed.

 Friday had found Abel by now. Strange to see him in this form. So he had other forms? She touched the cursed cross on his collar, and his form reverted back to its regular wolf form. Oh good, she could help assist with his transformations too.
Friday looked around. She still hadn't done what she wanted though. Found out about who SHE was. She sighed, the silent girl sitting down in the dirt, stroking Abel's fur as she went over what she knew so far. None of it was helping so far though. If she could just know...her name, anything.

"GGrrraaaahh!!!!!" Evistion leapt out of nowhere, stalking Aoi all this time. He wanted to eat... and she was a decent candidate for now... He made a single swipe with his claws as he tried to catch her by surprise, snarling and hissing in his usual angry fashion.

Wolf FormAoi's ears flickered and she jumped to the side as something leaped at her. What the? His claws barely missed her as she moved, getting her fur and not her flesh. Dammit, now? She still hadn't fixed her pendant, and now something was attacking her? This day keeps getting better. She shifted into her human form. Easier to keep her amulet safe that way. That, and...she pulled out her gun from behind her back in a blur of movement, firing at the creature.
Abel picked up his head. Bullets? Friday looked at him for a moment. Should they go? Friday shook her head. No. But if there were shots being fired, there had to be a reason. She stood up, and Abel followed as they made their way through the woods.

Damn, missed... Evistion thought to himself as he took the bullets, but they didn't do much other than get stuck in his thick hide. He hissed at Aoi and lunged at her once more, this time swiping once and then once he expected her to get out of the way, try and catch her with his teeth.

Aoi cursed under her breath as she avoided his slash only to find his teeth coming at her. She raised her boot, making sure he got a mouth full of leather boot instead. Though she was still caught by the foot for saving herself from something worse. She lost her balance and fell to teh ground, dropping her gun. She still pulled out a knife to still defend herself, but she wasn't sure how long she'd last unless she got back on her feet. To do that? She needed her foot back. her other boot pulled back, and she kicked at the thing's face.
Abel stopped, making Friday stop too. Ahead, there was a fight, it seemed an odd creature was fighting some girl. She smelled like a wolf demon. Abel growled some, fur bristling. Friday watched. It seemed Abel wanted to get involved? She wasn't sure. Though the girl did look like she was in danger.

grrr... damnit... she's annoyying... Evistion growled to himself as he caught nothing but boot in his maw, even getting a kick to the face. He shook his head and then let go, sending her sprawling a little to the side, and licked his teeth before charging up something in his throat. The icy chill that would definitely catch her by surprise...

Aoi freed her boot from the thing's jaws, and struggled to quickly pushed herself up after she went off to the side a little bit. Dammit, that hurt...Her ears laid back in her hair as she tucked her amulet into her shirt. Now what was it getting ready to do? I need to get away from this...I'm in no shape for this fight. She knew how to pick her battles, and this wasn't one she could be picking now.The creature began preparing for something. The girl couldn't do anything else to it either to stop it. Abel glanced at Friday, who reluctantly nodded. Suddenly, a blue lightning sparked around Evistion, then surrounded his body as it charged through him, or at least attempted to. Distraction. Suddenly, Abel leaped, Friday's energy pulling him into a shift, into his Guardian Form again. He collided with Evistion, his wings bursting out and beating to keep his balance as the ragged looking werewolf raised his long ceremonial dagger and attempted to drive it into Evistion's mouth.

just a few more seconds.... and what!? suddenly Evistion felt his body spams from the jolts of electricity that coursed through him from the unexpected attack. Damnit... then there was some damned other trying to interfere. He took another hit and saw that his attacker was trying to drive a dagger in his mouth? Idiot... Evistion exhaled and let the chill burst forth, a blast of freezing cold air that even caused ice to form in the air alone, sending shards and the like scattering from his maw. Though, it didn't stop... it rushed on after racing from his mouth and trailed after Aoi, intent on turning her to ice as it left growing cold crystals in its wake.
After releasing the attack, the demon swatted Abel away with one claw and let out an angered roar at him before charging another icy breath attack.

Abel scowled as the cold air hit him. It hurt but he felt worse. However something else jumped from the bushes and grabbed Aoi, pulling her away with amazing strength despite her size technically being as small, if not smaller, than Aoi. Friday grimaced as she got Aoi away from the attack.
Abel jumped back voluntarily to avoid the claw. The creature was doing it again. Abels fur had some crystals of ice in it. He shook, brushing the icy crystals away. He couldn't take too many of those. But he also didn't want to force his master to fight with him. He felt a faint memory that he wasn't the only one who should be fighting for his Master, but he brushed the memory off and focused on the fight instead. If there was something yet to be discovered of her, then he'd find out eventually. Abel moved for Evistion. Friday looked on at Abel, and her black stone glowed a little bit, causing the insignia on Abel's collar and shoulder to glow in return. His speed increased as he suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Evistion, beating his wings and sending a powerful gust of wind to send Evistion off his feet, some sparks of electricity traveling in the air current.
