To all Filipinos, half or pure: Let us all support Puerto Princesa Underground River, the official nominee of the Philippines, to be included in the New Seven Wonders of Nature through online voting. The voting will only lasts until November 11, 2011 (Friday) so cast your votes now! To Vote: 1. Visit: http://www.new7wonders.com/vote-2 2. You can also vote for the Underground River as one of the New 7 wonders of the World on your cell phone. To participate in the global polling through SMS, send "PPUR" to 2861.  The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It features a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world's longest. At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water's edge. Monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels find their niche on the beach near the cave. Congratulations to Puerto Princesa Underground River for making on the list of the Provisional New Seven Wonders of Nature!!! Yey! 4laugh

All Filipinos should learn to see good things about the Philippines and not just the negative ones. When I read news on the internet, most of the time the comments below are about blaming, pulling one's fellow down, etc. which I think should not be the attitude. As citizens we also have the responsibility towards the Philippines and our fellow. Those people should stop whining and start doing something to help. Everyone should contribute in their own ways even through the little ones. Have you read the Twelve Little Things every Filipino can do to help our country by Alexander Lacson? It is a good book. 1. Follow traffic rules. Follow the law. 2. Whenever you buy or pay for anything, always ask for an official receipt 3. Do not buy smuggled goods. Buy local, Buy Filipino 4. When you talk to others, especially foreigners, speak positively about us and our country 5. Respect your traffic officer, policemen and soldier 6. Do not Litter. Dispose your Garbage Properly. Segregate. Recycle. Conserve 7. Support your Church 8. During elections, do your solemn duty 9. Pay your employees well 10.Pay your taxes 11.Adopt a Scholar, or Adopt a poor child 12.Be a good parent. Teach your kids to follow the law & to love our country Well, these are just some. There are so many other ways to help and contribute to society. Hope every Filipino realize that they can do something for the betterment of the Philippines. emotion_c8
