The dorm rooms are complete with three beds; one bunk bed and one separate bed, with an open kitchen, which has one refrigerator, one electric stove, with an oven attached, one stainless steel sink, counter space, a microwave, a toaster and cabinets. There is also an eating area, with room for electronic entertainment, and it is furnished with a low eating table with four cushions. There is also a bathroom with a toilet, sink, a shower.

Raine sighed as she laid in her top bunk bed, arms behind her head, and she was awake. Amelia was quiet. Eric was always quiet. But it gave her some peace since she had woken up at least. Kestrel had been quiet too. But Raine's own temper still left him the option of breaking out. She extended her arm towards the ceiling and looking at the red markings in her skin. They wouldn't go away. The branding that proved Kestrel, bound or not by William and Cirus, was going to get out. Sooner or later. And Raine...even partially freed from the daily stress of him, still felt...tired. Exhausted. Of everything. She lowered her arm with a stoic look on her face, before climbing out of bed and down the ladder. Not caring if her roommate were awake yet or not, she headed into the bathroom to wash her face. Letting out a heavy sigh, she frowned towards the beds. She hadn't said one word to Ayaka since the students came back from the trip. She didn't want to. She didn't want anything to do with Ayaka. She pissed her off. Ayaka just...exhausted her more to deal with. Raine couldn't put her finger on it, but rather maybe she didn't want to. She'd keep everything buried until eventually she was just dead, and didn't have to worry about it anymore. She shut her eyes, before re-opening them and going to change into her uniform.

The Osaka trip had been alright. Aside from an assault on a classmate, boring touring, and a mysterious plague that seemed to wipe out half the student population that went on the trip, Ayaka had enjoyed escaping the campus for a bit. But now that they were back, she'd been faced with the annoying realization; someone was going to Raine on her parade.

The mere thought of waking up and having to deal with her anti-social roommate made Ayaka cringe in the faint light of the dorm room, her eyes open and faced toward the ceiling. Returning to campus meant getting more Negi time, and Ayaka was eager for that. But she'd never really spoken to Raine after she'd punched her. And Ayaka had found the picture.

Although her wound was healed up now, when she'd gotten back, the picture of the blond girl was nowhere to be seen; Ayaka could only assume Raine had discovered it. Another reason not to speak to her. With a heavy sigh of her own, Ayaka swung her legs out of bed, rubbing her eyes with her hand as she yawned quietly. She couldn't see Raine, thankfully, so Ayaka made her move, gathering her uniform and putting on her slippers, before heading to the bathroom.

Her end goal? Get to the bathroom and have no contact with Raine. Ayaka's eyes darted left and right, up and down, this way and that. And she almost made it to the bathroom safely, except...

Cue the collision! Bumping into what felt like another person, Ayaka could only hope it was Kaede. But as her eyes wandered over to the third figure, snugly wrapped in blankets, she felt a chill run down her spine. Give her an umbrella: the forecast called for storms with a high chance of Raine.
PostPosted: Fri Nov 18, 2011 3:57 pm

Raine cleaned up after herself in the bathroom as she changed her clothes too, a bit of multi-tasking it seemed. She preferred to grab something to drink and just leave before running into Kaede or Ayaka. Not that she had a beef with the ninja, but Kaede's air just made Raine feel a bit like...well, she just didn't want to hang around her too much. About as much as she felt compelled to be around anyone else. Not at all. She moved to step out of the bathroom once she had her blazer on over her blouse, but as soon as she turned, she collided with another person. Not with Kaede even. Ayaka. Raine winced a bit, recovering from the light collision, and stared at the girl for a moment. Not with visible expression, but the stare would probably still chill Ayaka a little bit. With her remarkable ability to keep her expression extremely still, Raine just averted her eyes to the kitchen and brushed past Ayaka without saying a word, not interested in even passing comment.

I am Kouga Chuunin Kaede Nagase.
Kaede woke up, and stretched. Her sleep had been more then adequate for her growing body. She looked around her, and noticed that Ayaka was a bit stunned, as well as Raine walking by. She smiled. A typical day in Dorm 2. Things were starting to feel like normal. Especially now that she had gotten over her cold that had only been aggravated in Osaka. She felt a bit gypped that she hadn't been able to do anything, but she kept it to herself. Instead she held herself up with a smile. Since there was no reason to keep looking back in the past. "Morning Iincho-Dono." She commented calmly. She would have extended a good morning to Raine also, if she had felt that the other girl would have appreciated it. Of course Raine probably would not have, so she offered no welcome.

From Raine's seemingly void expression, Ayaka could only guess that she was asleep or didn't notice her. Raine's next movement and the movement of her eyes to the kitchen clearly showed that she was very much so awake and aware of who she'd bumped into.

After all, in Ayaka's eyes, she hadn't bumped into Raine. It had to be, just had to be the other way around.

Still, her eyes sent goosebumps down Ayaka's arm. Did she even have a soul? With that look, clearly not. "Not even an excuse me?" Probably not the best thing Ayaka could have done, but out of habit, the class rep had muttered those words under her breath, before stepping into the bathroom, tossing her clothes onto the counter. Kaede's voice reminded her that she probably should have kept her mouth shut, and Ayaka had hoped Raine didn't hear. ...She seems to notice everything though... She sighed, as she nodded a "hello" to Kaede, before shutting the door quickly, as if it would dispel the wrath of Raine.

Washing up and preparing herself for the day, Ayaka changed into her uniform, making sure she looked proper and orderly in the mirror, before walking out of the bathroom, purposely avoiding the kitchen and instead choosing to take her time making up her bed.

Raine responded, though not with words, but just a quick glance in Ayaka's direction. A cold one, it clearly defined itself as 'not for you, I don't.' She gave a very brief glance to Kaede. Not really a cold glance, but void nonetheless, and simply went back to making some coffee for herself, or anyone else who wanted any, much less drank it anyway. You keep brooding this way and Kestrel is just going to have his way again.

Shut up. You're the better half of my conscience right? So just this one time, shut the hell up and leave me alone. Amelia shut up. But Raine could feel the tinge of annoyance from the conscience demon. Eric just didn't say anything like usual. He was more like Raine. Quiet, probably only good for combat situations, and otherwise completely useless. Raine narrowed her eyes a little bit, staring at the counter as she made her coffee. Maybe I'd just be better off leaving campus and letting kestrel kill me somewhere far from other people... She shook her head and merely dropped the matter. No point in thinking about it anyway. She'd just have to trudge through the way she had been for the past year now. If she was lucky, maybe her depression and her hostility could keep everyone so far from her they wouldn't feel a lot of remorse if she did end up killed somewhere.

She stopped and glanced at Kaede again. "Sorry......you want something to drink? Or...something?" She offered. Might as well. Kaede hadn't done anything wrong. She had no qualms with the ninja girl.

I am Kouga Chuunin Kaede Nagase.
Kaede shook her head. "No thank you Raine-Dono, de gozaru." She said, instead getting out of bed. She quickly changed into her school clothes. She wondered how Negi was doing. The boy was certainly growing up.... though he needs to grow up a little bit more... she thought to herself, before giving herself a one over in the mirror. Content, she decided now was as good a time as any to slip out of the dorm, before the situation between Raine and Ayaka exploded into something she couldn't handle.

Ayaka hid a pained expression as she heard the door shut behind Kaede. Like a good ninja, Kaede had bolted out the door with little words or even extending an offer to the stuck class rep to come along. Finally done with making up her bed for what seemed like the fifteenth time that morning, Ayaka packed her school bag, and checked the clock. Still early. Ayaka did like going to the classroom early, and it seemed all the more appropriate to this morning with only her and Raine in the room.

Making her way to the kitchen, Ayaka kept a good foot away from Raine, glancing at the coffee pot. On one hand, Ayaka wouldn't mind a good cup of coffee. And she wasn't sure if she'd have time to swing by somewhere else. But on the other hand, this was Raine. It could be. ...poisoned! Ayaka thought with a shudder. Knowing Raine-san, it's probably made with low grade coffee beans too. Deplorable! Honestly... Grimacing, Ayaka walked away from the kitchen, and grabbed her bag, ready to leave.

With one hand on the handle, Ayaka frowned. Normally, she didn't mind spending time in her dorm. But with the addition of Raine this year, she found herself leaving earlier and earlier, just to avoid her roommate. How is that fair?! This is my dorm, and she...has absolutely no right to force me out like this! Naturally, I, as the more responsible class rep, must leave for the good of the dorm, but...it's really just all her fault! Of course, Ayaka didn't realize that Raine was...not directly forcing her out. But to her, that girl made the dorm so unbearable, she couldn't handle it.

But as much as Ayaka wanted to turn around and tell that to her, she didn't. If anything, she'd prefer to have some sort of witness around, so if she got killed punched in the face again, there would be repercussions. Besides, bringing it up in front of Raine wouldn't be the best approach. ...Maybe, I'll just force her out of the dorm! I am Ayaka Yukihiro! I deserve to be here. She, on the other hand, has no place here. Turning the handle, Ayaka left without a word to Raine, leaving her roommate in the dorm alone.

{Ayaka leaves the dorm.}

Raine nodded to Kaede, before the girl left the dorm. There was a heavy silence in the room before it seemed Ayaka decided to leave too. Alone in the quiet room, Raine sighed and tapped her finger on the counter absently, before there was a mist on the floor next to her, and an ethereal form of Amelia appeared. The feline-like demon huffed, tail flickering. "I swear, you're so stubborn sometimes." She commented. Raine frowned. "You sure I'm not just a hopelessly impossible person to get along with? Note everyone left, probably cause I make things hell in here." She said quietly, sipping more of her coffee before walking into the bedroom area and gathering her things. "You're a fool for believing such things." "You're a moron for being a part of me and not noticing it. Can I ask that you now shut up and leave me alone like I requested?" She said. Amelia stared at her for a second, before disappearing. Raine let out a quiet sigh and shouldered her bag. She shouldn't have asked that. The moment her last bit of company, even if technically a being in her own head, disappeared and left her alone, she suddenly felt a heavy sensation in her chest. At this point, she would have liked even Kestrel's harsh company over this. Looking at teh floor for a moment, she cursed under her breath and turned, soon leaving the dorm as well for her class.

Raine walked into the dorm room, holding the door open as Kuro walked in after her, before shutting the door. "Just...make yourself at home I guess. You can stay here for a while before you go to wherever you're living." She said as she threw her things onto her top bunk and headed into the kitchen. Kuro looked around before sitting down on one of the beds, not sure what to do.

"How...have you been doing? Since you left...I haven't heard a thing about you since the day she died." Kuro said tentatively. Raine shook her head. "Sorry...I just...couldn't stay there after it happened. It hurt too much." She muttered in response. Raine couldn't tell Kuro the truth. Kuro was just a mundane, innocent. She didn't need to know that it was a demon within Raine that killed the only other person who really cared for the mentally unhealthy girl.

"Well....I guess I can't blame you for that." Raine flinched. Well, she wouldn't agree with that. Raine walked back into the room and handed Kuro a bottled soda. "Sorry...I know how you are, sort of. I probably shouldn't have expected you to try and contact us or anything." Raine frowned and averted her eyes. "Sorry. You know, I don't really like meeting people a lot." She said quietly.

"Yeah but...all I ever wanted to do was get to know you a bit more. I know it might be going to far to say this, but aside from my own sister, I also kind of trusted you too." Raine sighed. "That's a stupid thing to do, trusting someone you barely know." "Well, I did want to know you a bit more." Kuro looked at the floor. Raine shook her head and thought about it. "I'm not interested. I think we already talked about this before, but you're better off keeping away from me." Cause she didn't need someone else, especially someone connected to her, dying because she couldn't get a grip on herself. There were only so many deaths of people she refused to admit she might have liked a bit that she could see, before she felt she'd just snap and just try to end it before it got worse. Not that Kestrel would let that happen though.

"B-but...Raine, I might not have a foot to stand on saying this, but I can help you. You're upset...and there're things that bug you that you hate to talk about..." Raine scowled and crossed her arms, turning away as she took a few steps away. "You really don't know me at all, Kuro. You're mentally nuts. I'm not. I'm ******** up. I can't even begin to tell you why." She said coldly. Kuro frowned. "Then I don't really care. You don't have to tell me, but just...let me hang around. We can at least be friends or something." "No. And if you don't shut your mouth, I'm kickin' you out. I'm trying to be nice, so shut the hell up about this."

Kuro stopped and flinched, looking down again as she frowned, saddened by her failures once again. "A-all right...fine, I'll stop bringing it up for now." She said quietly. Raine looked at her for a second, then sighed as she dug around her bag and pulled out a DS. She handed it to Kuro. "Here. Keep yourself busy while you wait." She said. Kuro nodded and took it. Raine walked into the kitchen again and leaned against the counter. God dammit. This is always what happened when she tried to be around other people. It was just exhausting. Some people pissed her off, other people just tried to help her, which only pissed her off more. No one knew how to keep their noses out of other people's business. Her tail flickered. She'd never get it, she guessed. She missed her shot at understanding genuine humane emotion before she even got near it. That was it wasn't it? At least Kuro, who suffered from mental s**t that made her think as darkly as Raine did sometimes...she had a chance. She knew kindness, how to trust people, hell, she probably even knew love, if anyone, for family and friends. Raine didn't know any of it. She was in the dark about everything that made life easier.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, followed by a single loud bang to finish it off.

Dark Ian waited outside the room, of all things, and to be honest he didn't give a damn about being seen by anyone. He'd rip them limb from limb with his power...

"Open up, Ciado... Master wants to check up on you." he then called out.

Raine looked at the door. She looked at Kuro, who just looked back at her with a confused look. "Get in the kitchen. And don't try to listen." She told her. Kuro nodded and hopped off the bed before hurrying into the kitchen as Raine walked over to the door and opened it swiftly. Looked like...wasn't that the kid with Gilly? Though, no...it wasn't. William....right. She looked at Dark Ian and raised a brow. "I've got company. What does he want?" She asked, impatience showing without much care for who it was. Yeah well it wasn't like she was in a good mood to begin with.

Dark Ian raised an eyebrow and started to smirk at hearing Raine answer him in such a way. "Company, huh? Well, Master has been curious with the things going on in you, like the 'other two'.... and since some time has passed, he wants to see if you're ready for the third stage." he answered with some enthusiasm before practically inviting himself in and openly looking for whoever else was in the dorm room. "And who do we have here? My, she's quite something... Don't tell me you're thinking of doing something that might... upset Master..." he then stated once he finally found Kuro, smirking again. "What's your name, love? You can call me Ian... now, if you would be so kind... to not be afraid of me or ask too much when i start my business.... I won't hurt you, or Raine at least."

He then looked back to Raine his smirk gone, "Let me prepare at least, it might take a while, but yeah, I'm going to be... nonresponsive when I'm doing it. do whatever you want while I'm in that state..."

Raine stepped aside as Dark Ian pretty much invited himself in. She narrowed her eyes some as he approached Kuro. Kuro stared at the boy, and stepped back some, frightened of the stranger that approached her.

"I-I..." Kuro couldn't spit it out as her breathing began to speed up some, holding her bottled drink tightly and close to her chest.

"That's enough." Raine said, walking into the kitchen. She walked over to Kuro and stuck the girl behind her. "Kuro's got nothing to do with anything going on here. She's just an old acquaintance of mine. And I can assure she'll be out of this room before you do whatever you're about to do." She stared at Ian. "I don't give a s**t if you hurt me, but leave her alone. I'd sooner let you kill me and whatever your Master's trying to take from Kestrel, along with me." Kuro looked at Raine. Raine turned her head towards Kuro and frowned. "You heard me. GO. Come back later, got it?" Kuro didn't answer right away, but she nodded eventually and quickly ran past Raine and Ian as she rushed out of the room. She probably wouldn't go farther than waiting in the hallway. But either way, the door shut, and Kuro was gone from their presence.

"Fine. Do what you need to do. Not like I got other plans. I don't expect my roommates to be back soon either."
