I had a dream last night that I was back with an asian family (when I say back I mean I've had a dream with me staying with them before) and I couldn't find my friend, Djinn (Both his name and what he is). So I summoned him in the dream, I had an altar and everything, and suddenly he was next to me eyes closes and smiling when he first said something. I exclaimed "Djinn!" and his eyes opened. (he takes the form of a boy in teens with a bit of an asain appearance, black hairs and eyes) I sit in his lap and he kisses my cheek and ask How I've been. But then these men come around and try to steal him. Eventually they finally leave, having not found him, and he reappears and sits on my knees but he weighs nothing. I felt as if I was about to wake and was sad because I had to leave my Djinn.

I think Djinns are the element of fire, but I'm earth symbol based on my birthday. So why is one visiting my dreams like this? Of course his visits are a few years apart but still.

Aren't djinns massive jerks who twist every wish to be something other than what you really wanted?

Some Djinns are. They're one of those spirits where it depends on WHO the Djinn is working for. If you're around ANY Djinn though. Watch your wishful thoughts like a hawk, make sure it is specified as NOT a wish and just a thought. And confer with your guardians. If in doubt and you can't contact your guardians for whatever reason. Keep them away from your area, put up a shield, whatever you gotta do unless you are 100 percent sure of who the Djinn is with.

There are some good Djinn out there, yes. However, the wicked ones you realllly have to watch out for. And hey, spirits lie. Now, I'm not saying don't be all paranoid like, "AHHH IT'S A DARKER ENTITY AUTOMATICALLY EVIL!!!! DEFEND DEFEND!!!" I'm just saying it's probably a good idea to take a bit more time to gauge intention and ask around before assuming they can be trusted.

Nothing against the good djinn. But the bad ones pose as the good djinn and all it takes is one to trick you. And a few wishful thoughts for s**t to start going wrong.

So simply put, long story short. If in doubt. Ask your guardians. Besides, the Djinn might actually be guarding you. I've seen some darker spirits guarding people and not meaning any harm before too, so there is that.

So yeah, approach thoughtfully.

Are you a Muslim? I ask because I think the Djinn are from Islamic mythology.

No. I am christian-based agnostic ^^
@Satrevi: I am sure he is a nice Djinn. Not once in all the times he has visited me has he caused harm and my wishful thinking stays just that.

I dunno, it's what I sense about him... You know how in dreams or visions, you know exactly about something from that vision or dream? It's kind of like that. That and I always address him as Djinn as he never told me his name, yet he still answers.
