Root Towns
Root towns are the heart of the world. Populated areas each root town surrounds one of the seven dungeon instances throughout the game. Filled with shopping bazaars and a number of NPC's in which you can collect a number of quest or grab a bounty from the local taverns. As well as the home of the Arcadia Gate the access point to any map or instance.

Alabastra is the root town of all new players normally a haven for all players in the world. From the grand stairs to the beautiful canals Alabastra has been the spot for many grand events and wedding ceremonies.

One residing above the water this beautiful city has been lost to men and overtaken by the underwater creatures themselves. With monsters around every corner this area is dangerous.
