~A Secret In Barrie~
Forgotten has a world of fantasy been, for there lay a great race of cats and wolves in the few remaining woods of modren Barrie. One of the greater of these woods is the most commonly known as Lacky's Bush. It is here that a fude began and continued for the better part of 200 years between feline and K-9. Both races for the most part keep their exitance a secret from humans. This story begins with a new semester at Innisdale Secondary School. The date is Monday February 6th 2006.

It's a new semester at Innisdale secondary school. The lunch bell rang and Kathren had already gathered up her books. She met up with Kia at the Great Staircase. Continuing on their way to the cafeteria Kathren asked Kia "What classes do you have?" Kathren was a little upset because it appeared they didn't have any classes together.

Kia turned to Kathren and pouted. " I have Drama, Math, Art and Music. All in that order.." She grinned all of a sudden and glomped a stranger ahead of them. Kathren looked at her strangely before high fiving her as she returned. " What classes do you have?"

Kathren headed into the cafeteria and took a seat on the stage. She turned to Kia saying, "Hey we have Art together but I didn't know you were into Drama." She paused to see if Kia had any cookies on her tray and then continued "How's that going for you?"

Kia giggled when Kathren looked at her tray and shook her head. "It's pretty good. There is this really cute boy named Keiran in my class." Kia handed over a cookie to Kathren and took one for her-self. "He was kind of weird though..."

Kathren eagerly took the cookie. Smiling she replied, "Thanks!" She paused and her eyes widened as she realized that Kia had said his name was Keiran. She said "Sorry, Who?" As she stuffed the cookie in her mouth.

Kia started laughing at Kathren's cookie eating habits before she took a drink of her water. "His name is Keiran Wolflak, resident hottie. When he saw me, he pounced on my back and kinda... Well, he sniffed my neck." Kia pointed at the junction between her neck and shoulder. "Wierd guy, like I said... but he really seemed happy to see me for some strange reason."

Kathren rolled her eyes and sighed, "Figures." She thought for a moment and began mumbling to herself. "But still it is strange..." She paused and then continued. "It suggests the idea of... but it can't... I'll have to look into this." She then returned her attention to Kia.

Kia Looked at Kathren strangely as she had a wondering look on her face. "What are you thinking about?" She grinned all of a sudden out of no where. "Knowing You, it can't be good."

Kathren suddenly broke out of her serious phase and fell over laughing. "No I guess not." She held her gut and continued laughing, as she caught a glance or two from some people.

Kia covered her face, pretending not to know the girl currently on the ground. "She's... a friend, not my bestfriend... Actually... I don't know her at all..." Giggling nerviously, she squealed as Kathren hit her.

Kathren stuck out her tongue and made a "ha ha very funny." facial expression. Changing the subject she asked, "So how was Math class then?" She poked Kia one last time.

Kia laughed but ended up grimacing as she heard the word Math. She hated math with a passion and it didn't like her any better. "Um, you know me and the 'M' word. It went terrible."

Kathren giggled as she remembered the last time they had math class together. She asked, "Would you like me to try tutoring you again?" She smiled and tryed not to laugh as she said, "If it's possible."
