Dirt and Worms cupcakes

Melon eyeball Martini

Snickers
Skittles
and just about any type of Halloween cookies.

Milky Way Midnight, various flavors of malted milk balls (provided there's a good malt/chocolate ratio), and I swear I don't know why but those little high fructose pumpkins too.

For baked good, any darker than the pits of hell chocolate does it for me in a such a good way, but I went to a part once where the hostess make bat crackers and they absolutely delicious.

Otherwise, meringue ghosts. I could inhale meringue all day.

Bonus points if you put the ghosts on the cake.

Never really celebrate Halloween with candy that much in the UK, which sucks since that's were the holiday originated from. (Well more Ireland but close enough.)

I always ended up loving the toffee apples, since that was the only really sweet thing. Any gummys shaped like anything Halloween and these white chocolates with pink stuff in the middle that were suppose to be skulls.

Skullcrushers

Those meringue ghosts look delicious... I really could inhale all of them too. 4laugh

Its not candy or cake but you can't go wrong with Frankenberry, Boo-Berry or Count Chocula cereal! heart

When I was trick or treating, there was only one candy I wanted. I would barter away Twix, Milky Ways, and Hershey bars for them. The Great Chocolate Peanut Buttery whale...the Reese's Peanut Butter cup. Mmmm...

By November 1st, my brother would have no cups left...for I had stolen them all. Muha...muhahaha,,,,,MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The U.K has some of the BEST candy. I love Crunchie bars and pear drops. I also miss Thornton's toffee... ( I was in England for a while and fell in love with the stuff). There's an import store around here where I can still find some of the stuff but not all and they only carry toffee around Christmas. crying Never tried the skull candies but I'm sure their good.

I had forgotten about Thorntons, it's the best place in the UK to buy sweets. I would be drooling every year at the selection they had. Always top quality chocolate and too expensive for my family to buy. Not unless I begged my Gran.

This year's selection seems a little less.

Thorntons website

Either that or that's their web site only selection.

The skull candies were always sold for pennies so I could buy a whole bag of them compared to just the one Thornton's jelly ghost. Pear drops are awesome but they give me toothache, so do a lot of the hard candy. I can't eat toffee any more because of some caps I have but I did used to love Thorntons. They had so many flavours. Now I would just eat the fudge which is just as nice. biggrin
