A new camera indeed, though it's actually the camcorder my brother uses for his work (the company technically owns it since they paid for it). And I get to use it
surprised It's the Canon Vixia HF200; I recorded my "Brony kid raps fast" video with it. It records higher quality than that music video though, I had to convert down which is why it took a kick to the nads quality-wise.

What kind of mic are you using?
I am using a Studio Projects B1 condenser mic! It's incredible for the price ($105), and sounds as great as mics 3-4x the price. It's running through the M-Audio Fast Track USB II btw.
