Tsuki: -busy dragging along a heavy blanket he found- …! -trying not to get it too dirty-

Raido: *spots Tsuki from his spot up in a tree--don't ask how he got there, he didn't even know himself--and he pounced down from the low-hanging branch, just beside the smaller male, a soft, innocent grin on his face* Tsukiii... What did you find? What is it?

Tsuki: -nearly has a heart attack!- Eaak! -crouches on the ground until his heart stops racing- Y-you scared me. -shakes his floppy ears- It is a blanket. -proud little smile- Isn’t it nice? Oh, but it’s getting all dirty. -looks unhappily at the where the blanket has been dragging in the dirt- I can’t list it properly… -to darn small-

Raido: *doesn't even register the fact that he scared the smaller kitsune, but his tail wagged when the item was named* A blanket.... It looks comfy. *was actually about to plop down on it, but when Tsuki said that he couldn't carry it on his own, the purple and teal kit blinked, pausing for a moment before he nosed his way beneath the blanket, allowing it to drape across his body, just the corners barely touching the floor* I can carry it. I am big enough! I'm big like Jupiter, today!

Tsuki: Oh very good! -immensely pleased as he bounces around Raido to check on all the edges- It is very comfy. That is why I picked it. Only the comfiest blanket will do. –finishes circling around and smiles at Raido- Of course, impressive just like Jupiter, and I’m just a small little moon. Come along… -starts leading the way-

Raido: *plods along like a mindless workhorse for a bit, his blank smile on his maw as he kept his nose pressed to his friend's hind flank. Nothing rolled through his mind until the thought of Tsuki only wanting the softest blanket* ... What are you gonna do with the blanket, Tsuki? Is it for your den? *tail wags quietly, swaying the blanket with him* Is it a present? Maybe you could keep stars safe in it.

Tsuki: Oh… -peeks back at Raido with an expression of both embarrassment and joy- I am making a new den. -sheepish smile- Well, I would certainly keep stars safe, oh yes I would… if I could get them down! But this blanket is for something even more important than stars. -lowers his voice to a whisper- It is for… my children.

Raido: Stars would be most comfy under this! I am comfy under this. And I am Jupiter today! But every other day, I am Saturn. *flicks his tail happily, simply nodding when Tsuki mentioned that it was for his children* Oh, oh, that's nice. It will make a very comfy-- ..... *halts immediately, his eyes widening. For a moment, the rusty gears in his mind worked overtime, and he tried desperately to grasp the statement that had come from his friend's maw. Finally, when it hit him, the usually sloth-like fox was on the floor in a flash, his rear raised high in the air in a playful pose, the blanket slumping off of his back and down to his neck* N-No way! Children! Like... Like... Babies! Like the little ones! The ones with the wet noses! The things that make the funny sounds? The furballs?! YOU'RE HAVING FURBALLS?! Where did you find them!? *it didn't occur to him at all that another kitsune would be required to make the prayer for children, but it hardly mattered*

Tsuki: -blinks at Raido’s sudden explosion of emotion and really looks quite embarrassed about the whole thing, dipping his head down and covering his nose briefly with his paw- W-well, they’re not babies just yet, but they will be. -where did he find them? Rather, how had Aruji talked into this…- Oh my, they were a gift. From the stars of course. You will play with the, won’t you Raido? We need to take care of them and keep them safe.

Raido: Not yet? They are still in their star cradles? *tail wags as he slowly sits back up, shaking the blanket back down on his pelt as he began walking again, really wishing to see his friend's children now* I want to help take care of them... Maybe when you are busy, I can tell them stories about the planets and the moon and the sun and Saturn. *brushes his tail along Tsuki's side, very much wanting to be a part of the new family's life* Are they around here somewhere? I want to meet them.

Tsuki: Oh yes, they haven’t come out yet. They’re not ready. -trots around Raido and carefully tugs one end of the blanket up- I am sure they would love to here stories about all the planets and we will help them read the stars. -walks alongside Raido- It is not too far now. We will be there soon and you can introduce yourself. -leads the way, the two soon arrive at a den dug into the side of a small hill. A den already filled with a whole manner of blankets, fern and feathers- Do you think they will be warm enough? Or safe enough? -worryworry-

Raido: *had quieted down, just listening to the soft sound of Tsuki's voice, and he spaced out for a few minutes until they arrived at the den, and the mix-pelt Kitsune's tail wagged, stepping into it carefully, not wanting to dirty anything as he set the blanket down with Tsuki. The den vaguely sparked a memory far back in his life, something that was from his early childhood in which he had forgotten, but the spark was out before it could catch flame, and the male nodded.* It looks like the warmest den ever. ... Safe? There's something dangerous around? *didn't realize the potential dangers of a lot of things for the children in their cradled tamas, and his ears immediately flattened* Is there someone trying to get to them? I will make sure you and your family are safe. *immediately goes to sit down in front of the den, ears perked to take an unnecessary watch for the den*

Tsuki:-drags the blanket backwards into the den and proceeds to fuss around, first putting it in one spot and then moving it to another- Oh no, well, I don’t know. But there are always dangerous things around… -frowns at a fern frond- I just want to make sure. I want to be a good parent. -drags the fern frond outside and then presses his nose against Raido’s cheek- It looks fairly safe now. No need to be on guard… or maybe there is.... -looks about- Better stay where you are just in case. <3 -starts fussing again-

Raido: *leans into the kind touch, and his tail wags, nodding when he decides to keep staying where he was* I don't know, but I want to be here to be the o-zone to your new little outer space, okay? Gotta be a good uncle! Gotta be a good protector! Now I'm the o-zone, too! Your baby stars will be cute. Maybe they will have pretty ears like yours? I hope they do. Your ears tickle. *nods and laughs quietly, though his eyes were actually locked into the distance attempting to detect any danger*

Tsuki: -head pops out form the den- Do you think they will have ears like mine? I hope they do. But you do have to keep them nice and clean. I will make sure to teach them that. -ducks back into the den and spends some time muttering to himself and shifting things around- … there. <3 -comes back out and sits down next to Raido- It will have to do for now. -already pondering getting more blankets-

Raido: We can clean them together. I can't wait to see the baby stars already... I hope they're like the moon just like you. That would be so fun. You know there's a rabbit on the moon, Tsuki. *points his nose into the air to see the giant, glowing celestial body, his tail wagging* Some others say they see a face, but sometimes, when you squint and tilt your head to the right, you can see a rabbit eating a bowl of rice. It is my favourite thing about the moon, besides it being a nightlight. *yawns quietly, resting his maw down on his crossed arms as his tail wags softly* .... You're my best friend, Tsuki. Sometimes I wish I could be the Earth so you could be my Moon and we could play in space all day. *the male cared deeply for his friend-- His only real friend in all the world. Not many others could stand being around his spacy mind for long without getting frustrated, and he really appreciated the company from the one who loved the stars just as much as he did*

Tsuki: -he might be terribly anxious about having babies running about, but Raido’s enthusiasm is making him feel much better- Oh I know. That rabbit is my grandfather of course! -wriggles his ears playfully and then starts to clean them- … oh. -stops, quite touched Raido consider him his best friend- Well.. I guess you are my best friend too, yes indeed. It is… comfortable. -gentle smile; pleased to find that this is intend one of the first relationships he actually feels ‘normal’ with someone- If we can’t play in space, we can play here and that is just as good.

Raido: *listening to Tsuki's honey-sweet voice made him warm and comfortable, and with his newly confessed best friend pressed to his side, he was determined to keep him and his new family safe... But with each passing moment, he felt his eyelids grow heavier, and he yawned one more time before glancing up at Tsuki, flicking his tail to curl it behind the other to keep him close* No matter where we go, I'll make sure that we'll be happy. *with a small grin, the dual-coloured Kitsune's eyes fluttered shut, effectively silencing him as sleep overtook him like a gentle wave on a sea shore*
