Okay, is anyone else impatiently waiting for this years Halloween event? Does anyone have an inkling as to what it will be like?

I know that trick-or-treating the shops has always been a long standing Gaia-Halloween tradition but some of the side events have been rather iffy for a while.

My favorite event was the Vampires vs. Zombies vs. Humans a few years back. It was an EXCELLENT way to meet people in the forums as you battled it out for level prizes from each class (some of these items I still use regularly too!!)
Does anyone else remember that?

Anyhoo, since then I have been feeling as if the events have been a little lacking in the creativity department and overloaded in the profit department. I've been checking back regularly, waiting for that glorious announcement showcasing the event but it looks like it will be a short one since Halloween is only a week away. *le sigh*

Wow, that was it?

So I went into the masquerade room and it was rather ambiguous.
On the lower bar there is an option to done a few masks. With each mask that you put on, an item appears somewhere in the room that you need to claim.
These 3 items are all alchemy items and once you get them all you get a recipe to make a mask.

I also noticed that Trick-or-Treating takes longer too. I don't recall it ever taking 19 candies :-S

This event is driving me nuts. I had more than 100 heals at one point and then it got reset. I'm a little pissed at it.
