Yuffie was given a mission to hunt down an experiment that had escaped from the lap. She is to hunt it and kill it no matter what. But what happens if she can't pull if off due to some....circumstances. Yuffie 19 bio: She wants to restore her homeland: Wutai. She is a ninja and thief even though sh is hyper active. Her mother died from an illness when she was young. pic:

Bio: When he was a young boy, Kaidan was taken from his parents by Hojo and forced into his lab, being mutated and warped by Mako energy until he lost all memory. Now he has escaped in search of a better life.

Yuffie sighed as she followed a fellow soldier to the Leader's office who was her father. She was excited that she was getting a mission but knowing her father it was probably some washed up mission. When she got there her father wasn't in instead it was his secretary who gave her the mission. She looked at it and smiled jumping up and down "Yes its a hunting mission" she ran out of the room to get prepared immediately without another word.

A few minutes ago, Kaidan had smashed through the walls of Hojo's lab, eager to get the hell out of that nightmare. He was still on the run from SHINRA troops, but luckily, he stole some materia to blast them away. The runaway saw no one else following him, but he knew he would always be hunted. All he wanted was a better life. To be treated as a human, and to know his past. He let out a sigh as he kept moving, hoping to find a town somewhere.

Yuffie looked around seeing if she needed anything else then her medicine pouch, her food pouch, and her weapons. she had her hips on her hips as she looked around the room. When she was satisfied she nodded and went to walk out of the room bumping into someone. She looked up and sighed "What is it?" The guy handed her a communication device "take this" he said and handed it to Yuffie. Yuffie took it and put on then she was out the door running to where her target's location was supposed to be.

Kaidan continued walking, pulling an apple from the pack he brought with him. He took a bite of the apple with a satisfied look on his face, until he saw a pack of monsters in front of him. He dropped the apple, then drew a pair of katanas, jumping at the beasts with a flurry of slashes, killing them quickly before they could even hurt him. He then put the swords away and continued onward.

Yuffie arrived at the lab and looked around making sure not to be heard by any of the scientists. She looked at the container that had the experiment inside of it careful not to touch it so her fingerprints wouldn't mix in with his. Yuffie then started following the path that the experiment had taken looking for anything that would tell her where he was headed. When she thought she came to a dead on on the experiment's trail she scratched her head that was until she heard the roars of a battle being fought so she followed the sounds quietly.

Kaidan felt something a bit....off. He could tell someone was tailing him, but not who. He tried to speed up, but he had used a good amount of energy getting out of the lab. He took in a deep breath, then put his remaining strength into walking away.

Yuffie could smell her target. He was only a few feet away but stopped when she was just about to close that gap due to monsters showing up. She glared and stomped her foot "Oooooh Come on" she yelled at them in frustration. The Death Claw roared as Yuffie charged at it striking it with her chakrams. The Death Claw grabbed her and squeezed her as she cried out feeling her lungs getting crushed.

Kaidan heard a girl crying out in pain, and drew his swords again. He ran to spot her being squeezed by a Death Claw. For some reason, he couldn't leave her there. He rushed the beast, then started slashing madly until it dropped her.

Yuffie dropped to the ground like a dead weight barely breathing. Most of her ribs were crushed from the hold that the monster had on her. She looked up and saw a boy but her mind was to blurry to notice that it was her target. Before she knew it she was seeing black dots in her vision. 'nice way to die Yuffie' she scolded herself before she blacked out. As she was out cold she was unsure if she was breathing or not.

Kaidan quickly killed the monster with a stab in the throat, then put the swords away. He ran over to the unconscious girl to see if she was alright. He could tell that she needed help right away, so he pulled out a Cure materia and healed some of her wounds. The rest would have to be done by a doctor. He gently picked her up and carried her bridal style, then walked off in search of the nearest town. Luckily it wasn't too far off, and he managed to get the girl to a hospital in time. He still stayed to make sure she would recover well. Not sure why, but he did.

When the doctor wrapped Yuffie up in bandages and everything her breathing was semi-normal. She laid there her chest semi rising but not in a rhythm like it should have been. The oxygen mask was over mouth as well trying to help her lungs breath properly again. The doctor looked at Kaidan and placed a hand on his shoulder "She should come out of this just fine but things could also go wrong" he said as he listed the things that could go majorly wrong.

Kaidan listened and nodded. "I understand. Please do what you can." He said. He looked at the girl, hoping she would be alright. He sat in a chair nearby and shut his eyes, trying to relax.

The Doctor nodded as he left the room to look at Yuffie's x-rays again. Yuffie mumbled in her sleep as she tossed and turned "N-No mother, stay" she whispered as she turned over again grabbing the sheets. Just before her nightmare got any works she sat up quickly and yelled "NO". when she did that she coughed a little and cried out in pain putting her hand to her chest. Yuffie looked around at her surroundings "Where am I?" she said as she threw the covers off of her and tried to stand up.
