 xxxxx►For centuries the belief in witches has been great a strong, magical beings using magic for selfish purposes, causing mass hysteria and murders being done under the guise of such creatures. As time passed, so did the meaning of the word witch, the movie Wizard of Oz showed us that there are indeed good witches, and the Wiccan religion has showed us that there is white magic and black magic. The existence of witches seems to be true, along with the magic they produce, but they are hardly spoken of, among some taboo, and among others a mere fact of skewed fiction. Which brings us to where we are today.xxxxx►Welcome to Dublin, the capital of Ireland with a population of roughly 1.8 million people. The city of Dublin is not connected to the mother land, but instead it is on it's own island and has its own city council. It's economic progress and stability places it among the top thirty in the world. It is a historical and contemporary cultural centre for the country, as well as a modern centre of education, the arts, administration, economy and industry. It is also a place of culture and history, along with one of the many creators of witches. But the secret is that witches are more active in this society then anywhere else in the world, what with popular tourism, ley lines over the city and the general belief in magic.xxxxx►Let us get down to the details of our magical species. We have three main clans of witches and wizards, the Dahlia, the Rose and the Iris clans. The Dahlias seem to specialize in black magic, crows being their companions despite the many species of crows. The Roses specialize in white magic, the dove being their companion bird again, despite the many various species of dove. The Irises specialize in nature magic and use many species of owl as their companion bird. None of them are at war with each other, but instead each clan has an alliance with the other, but that doesn't stop minor disputes between clan members, nor does it stop any romance being created.xxxxx►Ah yes, romance, when the hidden streams of youth soon bubble up from underground and flow outwards searching for the one they love! But there are issues, for example. The heir of any clan is only supposed to marry within that clan, whereas anyone else can marry from any other clan or quit their magical life to marry a human. That's not to say some clan heirs haven't run away to live the life of a normal human, so some humans have magical qualities as well. It is your choice to decide where you want to find love, but be warned, your love might not be accepted by the one you love, or by everyone else around you. But if that stops you, then you were never truly in love to begin with. Now let us open the curtains on this romance, and see where we search for love, and where love will take us.

RULES
Needed, undesired, but must be had.
I must stress a few points, although I'm sure the majority of you have been on Gaia Online long enough to understand that certain things are not allowed.
▷ I'm aware that a lot of us are mature, well-educated roleplayers then when you first started. However with modern times being more promiscuous and vulgar and anything but a censored era, there are still lines we can't cross. Naturally this roleplay falls under the theme of love, and thus we'll have blooming relationships between characters. And even though love is a beautiful and wonderful thing, we cannot describe its physical events.
▷ Kissing, and other small things are naturally allowed. Sexual intercourse is under no circumstances allowed, however, and must be a fade to black moment. Also, as we may acquire young members, if you describe a character without clothing, leave the area "below the belt" without words. We are on Gaia Online, and this is a PG-13 website. We will follow the rules.
▷ If you fail to do so, I will remove you from the roleplay myself if you do not take a first warning and change your post, and yourself.
▷ I should not even have to say this, but I know it can't be ignored. God modding is serious, and so is power playing. You do not control another's character. You cannot kill another unless the creator of that character allows it. You are not a "god".
▷ Also, for everyones sake, your character does not know everything. Run something by me if you want your character to be let in on something, and we'll work something out. Same goes for overpowered characters. Please, contact me before doing anything that may be frowned upon. You do not want to get contacted by me.

All the important stuff.
All right! I still need a title but let me say one thing.
I need all genders to be balanced. I'm aware we'll have a surplus of magical beings, but after we have so many I'll close down that race until we get a sufficient amount of humans.
