"Do you know how hard I worked to get that!? And you just smashed it, smashed it to pieces just to see if there is anything inside of it!" It had been a long day and my temper was getting short. I had logged into one of my favorite games, me and my friend have been playing for a while, I didn't expect to log in to find the item I quested so long and hard for smashed to pieces. I sighed and lay my head on my desk, messing with my d20 I have lying around. My headset clinking against the desk.

"What does it even do? You know I don't know alchemy..." My character specialized in tailoring, customizing clothes, its a business with a lot of income in this game since all of the other specialties are more useful than it, but for those of us stupid enough to take it, we get a nice profit~

"Well.....how much are they in the market place?" I tap my desk with a pencil, my character on the screen looking around as if she suspects something to jump out of the woodwork of the house and attack her.....not that it can't happen, this game is so unpredictable...

"Sheesh..." I sit up again and proceed to check my chest, I'm a bit low on cash right now, just bought something for my home. 100k....."Well.....you can help me get another of those and I can try and get some work to save up for some." I rummage around in one of my desk drawers and pull out a granola bar, munching it. "Oh, by the way, you hear about what they are doing to the game?"

"they are making this virtual reality, it's going to cost a little bit, but think of how fun that's going to be!" I smiled to myself, I had always dreamed of virtual reality.

"Next month, they are putting the finishing touches on it, they want to make sure its safe for release." I rummage around on my papers to find a piece of paper to write things down on. "So, the first quest is a maze.....sadly it changes every time you do it so i don't know the way already."

"That will be very helpful, you have no idea how many times I died to traps in my last attempts...." Mind flashes back to being smashed by giant spiked plates, poison darts, random pit falls, a seemingly harmless puppy turning into a man eating monster.....good times.... "Alright! Lets do this!

"Uhhhh.....very rarely an ultra boss spawns in here, he drops really good loot but is a biatch to beat." I say as I fully equip my character with my own customized armor, she draws a sword with runes carved into it and points it at the entrance.
