xxxx★★✫__build⋮fit, lithe, petitespecifics___↴↴xxxxxx★★✫__rainbow hair⋮like my face, my hair is one of the many wonderful things that make up gabriel avenue! i've had all sorts of people raving in envy about the streaks that make it up, and i must say, it is one of my favourite features. not to downplay any other portion of my hair ( or myself ), as even the contrasting black and white i'm so lucky to have been born with add a wonderful flare ( though it is a pain in the a** to make sure not a single hair is out of place; everyone can notice when one is ).
xxxxxx★★✫__butterfly headwings⋮speaking of things on my head, my wings are another wonderful point of envy. a feature that i share with my brother ( despite the differences in the wings themselves ), these swivel in every direction they need to move in, and yet still can't seem to evade my hairbrush in the morning. between that and a few playful smacks gone wrong, the membranes have been rather slashed-and-torn, but they're still a lovely part of me!
xxxxxx★★✫__pointed ears⋮coincidentally, these have never been terribly unique to me. many of the other spawn i've come in contact with -well, most of them really- possess ears such as these, and it seems stranger for them to be lacking ear-points than anything. regardless, they're still a wonderful part of me, and i've forever had the ability to move them just as i can move my headwings ( a talent that seems gifted only to a few ).
xxxxxx★★✫__green fingertips⋮not the most obvious eccentricity on my body, my fingertips are one of the most unique ( i've yet to meet a spawn with only fingertips of a different colour ). covered in the same hard scale as the lower half of my body, my fingertips are good for any normally-painful fingertip activity, such as stealing still-hot food from the pan or learning how to sew.
xxxxxx★★✫__scales⋮mentioned above, my scales cover about fifty percent of my entire body; that is, everything below my waist as well as the tips of my fingers. bright green with an olive tinge, they add an interesting balance to my dark skin and make me unfortunately strange looking in tights that aren't quite opaque.
xxxxxx★★✫__dinosaur feet⋮...alright, i'll admit it. there's a part of my body that i don't like; that i resent, even. don't get me wrong, i love my feet. i always have; they're good for running and jumping, and are stronger than anyone else's, with the ability to survive in ice, snow, and even on summer-sunned pavement. the only problem is that there's one thing that normal feet can do that mine can't; fit into pointe shoes. can you see how i resent them?

Whatever word you would use to explain the fact that I can feel the groove on the palm of someone's hand. really, though, it's something i've kinda tuned out the older i got; it's too easy to get overwhelmed, seeing and feeling and hearing so much. i can turn it on and off pretty easily, though.
xxxxx★★✫__soothing speech⋮the most blessed of my abilities, especially when it comes to having a brother like mine, with the ability to bite your head off in one word. i've always been the only one with the uncanny ability to talk him down, and that same talent tends to worth with most the other wrath kids that i know ( otherwise i don't know how long ilyrosa and i would last ), and it probably contributes to my mellow persona. after all, being all tense like that would mean that they would only end up more wound-up.
xxxxx★★✫__ballet⋮as has been the main focus of my life for nearly one entire third of it ( we creatures age fast ), i would definitely like to say that ballet is one of my talents. unending patience allows me to repeat anything that must be repeated, over and over again until i perfect it completely. i've mastered the basics so fluidly that i could do them in my sleep, and all because i genuinely wanted to do so.
xxxxx★★✫__multilingual⋮this is a new one, i'll admit. and not complete yet; that is, i'm not yet fluent in either russian or french, but it seems that life has given me every need to learn them. the russian is being taught to me during my ballet lessons by my ballet teacher, but i am taking both french and russian classes at a learning annex that elias sent me to. it's eating up time i used to use to sleep, but i'm muscling through it. somehow.

xxxxx★★✫__temperament⋮considering his patience dna, it's obvious to assume that gabriel is generally of a very even temperament, which is the truth. he almost never gets any kind of angry, and depression is one of the worst moods that he can suffer ( and even that is extremely rare ). generally speaking, he's laid back about everything that isn't dancing, which he is forever extremely serious about.
xxxxx★★✫__brief personality⋮gabriel is a smart, clever boy, though booksmart he most certainly isn't. he couldn't spell his way out of a paper bag, but he could definitely distract you enough to steal the keys. he's a massively diligent student, spending nearly every moment of every day working on his ballet or something somehow related to it. you'll know shortly after meeting this boy that his favourite sound in the world is the sound of his own voice, as he will very gladly never shut his mouth. In a nutshell, he's bubbly and sweet, with a penchant for buying people gifts and a love of making others happy ( though rarely at the sacrifice of his own pretty face ).
xxxxx★★✫__brief history⋮gabriel was nonconsensually adopted and raised by fith avenue, a gang leader in a rougher part of the city. his childhood is colourful, ripe with the kinds of experiences that only the unbidden child of a gang leader would have experienced. it was when he reached about preteen stage, having worked from childhood onward, that he started to think about what kind of a difference his life could make, and what he could pursue into the future that was possible despite his illiteracy. thanks to a stray business card, he found himself a private tutor with a strange schedule and an even stranger payment plan...
xxxxx★★✫__full personality⋮despite the simplicity of his bubbliness, there are a lot of emotions beneath that grinning, tan-skinned, and ( if he may say so ) beautiful face of his. don't let that think that he's not happy most of the time, as he definitely tends to be, it's just those few moments of doubt, the tiny fractures in the mirrored surface of his pride. he loves his family and his friends too much to let them believe that he needs their help, thusly patching the few deeper parts of himself with shallow, happy-go-lucky, everything's-about-me gabriel.
xxxxxone of the biggest 'negative' attributes that gabriel covers up within himself is doubt. more exclusively, self-doubt. there's always been a nagging in the back of his mind that he won't be able to make anything of himself. that because of who his dad is, because of his upbringing, because of his social standing, because, even, of his illiteracy, he will somehow find himself unable to progress higher in the world, or become anything other than what he always has been. this unspoken fear has led to a gigantic boost in his patience, a constant threat looming on the edge of his psyche, forever reminding him that if he were to stop working, even for a moment, he could lose everything he's worked for.
xxxxxgabriel is also a very decidedly thoughtless person. not to say he's mean -quite the contrary- he just has no capacity or will to think things through, or linger on any kind of thought for long. the young man lives in the moment to the severest of extremes, rarely stopping for forethought and moreso stopping for hindsight. though his intelligence level begs no reason for this to need an explanation, it's impressive that he happens to have one, believing that leaving his mind blank leaves him open to more actively respond to a situation at hand. this 'skill' was originally founded during his ballet lessons, where distractions would cost him time and earn him disappointment. unfortunately, it comes with the side effect of verbal diarrhea that he's so famous for.
xxxxxliving on the streets has given gabriel a higher-than-average level of responsibility, one of few kids his age to always remember everything that he could need going somewhere, making sure to keep his few possessions ( a number that's on the rise ) as safe as they can be around his new bed. he won't reprimand someone unable to do this themselves, but he's very likely to say something cocky and rather offensive if the situation arises; not to hurt their feelings, but again because of the self-censorship problems.
xxxxx★★✫__full history⋮as all children of the seven of seven world, gabriel was born in the labs. on march twenty-ninth, he was granted as a 'gift' upon his guardian, fifth avenue, who was working as a skills teacher at the time, working to get some kind of under-the-table income to his starving 'family'. for weeks of their new parent's time, gabriel and his twin brother were treated like what they were; a 'sick joke', cast down upon fifth by the owner of the facility in the hopes of watching him flounder around like the un-parent he was. the boys were dragged around carelessly, left to their own devices or to anyone who could be trusted to actually take care of them, far too young to be by themselves in the midst of fifth's real family.
xxxxxmuch of gabriel's childhood was spent with one of fifth's old acquaintances, a man named cat, who the boy has detested from the very beginning. it was this particular babysitter who, as a high school teacher, gave gabriel a powerful hatred of learning in the formal manner, vowing to never follow cat around like a blind puppy the way that his brother did. He would never learn the same things that damien did, things that didn't matter to him at the time, a choice that he regrets now. his entire childhood is punctuated with various things that cat tried to do for him, lesson-wise, all of which ended poorly.
xxxxxgabriel was a child when his life changed. scouring the markets for his usual fare ( pretty things that are poorly guarded ), he discovered an angel on earth. using her lost little brother as an excuse to communicate with the preteen, he was head-over-heels in love with the wrath goddess from the moment his eyes fell on her. every step from that point in his life, every hurdle that he has crossed, has been fueled by his desire to become someone worthy of her time and attention; for her, he aspires to become perfection.
xxxxxit was while he was a child, also, that gabriel ( as well as his brother ) began their 'careers'. day labouring for someone who didn't think twice about the people that fifth sent to move things, the boys worked long, hard hours for money that was nowhere near appropriate for what they were forcing themselves to do. the days wore on, and between work and sleep, they rarely saw their father. the cyclical neglect continued until gabriel decided to politely step out, leaving as a preteen to live with a dark, foreboding man; a ballet teacher, or so he called himself.
xxxxxthe man was as old as dirt or older, despite his youthful appearance. his skin was as white as paper, as cold as ice, and his ballet skills were unmatched by anything that gabriel had before known. though he had yet to see elias perform, the man was a perfect teacher, easily telling him when he did things wrong or right, not even the slightest amount of a patronizing lilt to his voice. miraculously, gabriel also earned the attention of his lovely wrath demonness, though their relationship goes tense as he pursues such a feminine career, and it certainly won't do well if ilyrosa ever notices the two, identical holes on the side of his neck.
