The baby foal nickered in amazement. It was so bright. She blinked a few times to get used to the light. With a sudden burst of curiosity she jumped foward into the bright sunny day. Tilla was alive with energy, sniffing at everything, staring at anything that moved, investagating every little crack or hole she found...
And then she rounded a corner...
She came to a sudden stop, there were others in that area. Her eyes went wild and she slowly backed herself into a corner... They were big... Her hind quaters touched a tree and she spooked herself thinking that she touched one of them. She quivered with fear, and boubled up the direction she had come from untill she found a place she thought to be far enough away from those big thingy's.
Tilla walked into the large opening she found in a rockface. Her hoof-steps echoed quietly in the large carvan. She looked aboutpleased with her findings.
The light outside was growing dim and Tilla didn't quite know what direction was home. So she huddled in a corner of her shelter. Amazingly the walls were warm to the touch, like the sun had been shining on the inside. A drip-drip could be heard farther back in the small cave. The sun finnally set in a magic display of reds, oranges, pinks and purples, leaving the lovely midnight blue sky and the odd sprinkles of sparkling dots. Amused Tilla fell alseep listening to the wonderful sounds of the big world around her.
The moon rose and shone into the opening that the foal lay in. Slowly the moon set and sun rose to take it's place. The rays warming the land as it went.
Tilla woke a little dazed, not to sure where she was. But after a little look about her she remembered what happened yesterday. Streatching she stood up and walked over to the waterhole. She took a drink from the refreshing cool water before she headed outside to find food. Just a little way off from her 'home' she found a nice patch of grass totally secluded from the rest of her type. While munching on the soft grass she kept a lookout for anything that moved in a strange way. She watched the shadows and listened to the noise. Finnaly satisfide of her meal she desided to explore a bit more.

Tilla remembered at the end of the day the new friend she made. Vila was the singer of the herd, she'd managed to get the shy Tilla to go down and meet a few other foals. She'd muchly enjoyed her day but after her jumping and running about she'd worn herself out, and headed for her shelter. She quite liked the little place she had found. Shortly after returning to the warm cave Tilla was fast asleep in a corner.
Not long after the sun had set, a cool breeze swept into the cave and sturred Tilla. She opened her eyes slwoly to find it totally dark as the moon had slid behind a cloud. Slowly the moon came back out just as a large black siloute crossed her cave opening. Scared, yet curious about the strange thing that was walking in the night she moved silently into a darker corner of her cave away from the opening but on an angle that if anything was outside the cave she'd see it, she fell back into a nervous sleep that had her waking up every now and then.

The next morning Tilla sleepily walked over to the watering hole. Half asleep she took a drink, as the water refreshed her from her broken sleep she opened her eyes to see better. And then wished she haddn't. Her reflection had changed. For some strange reason she wasn't Tilla anymore. Or well... She still had the brown coat with the bay spots and bay legs... She studdied herself, closely nose almost in the water. No it was Tilla. She looked different. Maybe the thing that ran past her 'door' last night was the other her?
"Nah, that's-" She stopped, her voice had gotten a lot less 'child-like'
"Silly." Theres a perfect reason for this. She thought to herself. Maybe she'd always been like this.
"Yeah, that's right." She told herself, "You've always looked like this." With that she trotted away from the watering hole and over to the field.

Tilla was running along a long streach of windy path. She wasn't looking where she was actually going but watching what she was passing. There were pretty flowers everywhere, some fallen logs and she could hear the sounds of birds in the trees. Every now and then she'd look about her for some form of animal. She was in the process of watching a bunch of flowers pass her when -CLUNK- She went head firsts into a tree. At first Tilla freaked out. She couldn't see what was holding her long spikey thing at the top of her head. She pulled this way, and then the other. Finally exhausted and tottally frightened she gave up. She resigned to nickering as loud as she posibly could... A few moments past she she was begining to tire of this game. All she could see was this really close black/brown thing that smelled awful. Kinda like wet moldy wood with a hint of decaying leaves.
Tilla reaslised no one was coming for her. So she stood where she was waiting for -something- to happen.
So she waited...
And waited...
And waited some more...
It started to get dark and her head started to hurt. Tilla snorted and peeved off with the fact she couldn't move, thrust herself one last time away from the thing infront of her.. And did a compleate cumersault nanding on her backside in the mud. Free from what ever held her she got to her feet and gallopped in the oposite direction from the thing.
After a short while she colapsed back into her cave. Maybe next time she'll watch where she's going.. Or atleast try leave the long spikey thing on her head behind... Slowly she driffted back off to sleep. Ready for another silly adventure tomorrow.. But for now, she was off to dream about the pretty fairies and pixies that liked to make her dreams all happy.

Tilla amused herself. Today she'd managed to embarras herseld infrom of some really nice Horse? Or was he a uni without a horn? No idea. Well his name was Selleno anyway. He was nice. And he didn't laugh when she tripped up. Infact, he didn't laugh when she told him about getting her horn stuck in a tree either. He was really friendly. Just the thought of a new friend made Tilla blush. She, of all the shy Uni's, had a friend. And he was really nice. Tilla tried to stop thinking of him. But it just didn't work. She just wanted to be around him, someone she could -talk- to.
Ohh, not only that. But she had actually asked him to live with her! Well it was a bit lonely here. She figured he needed the company to. He said his parents were taken by two legs! How mean!

Lady Aria Starstone Seleno slowly walks down, out of the hills, watching everyone shyly, his face quiet and nervous. "Hello?" auzzie_kat Tilla all-but ran away at the sudden apreance's, or atleast her actaully noticing others, of all these other foals. Her coat shivered as she brushed past a few of them. Finally nervousness got the better of her and dispite what Vita said she quietly slipped off behind a bunch of tree's to peer at them all. Ear's foward an swiveling to each new sound, or voice she heard. Lady Aria Starstone Seleno sighed, seeing the female run, and went to find a spot to sit, looking wistful. auzzie_kat Tilla caught Seleno's figure out of the corner of her eye and stood watching him for a while, trying to act like she wasn't looking at him at all. After a while Tilla finnaly walked back out into the surrounding area. Such a big step for a shy little foal. Cautiously she lay down in a long patch of grass, nibbling at a few blades here and there. Lady Aria Starstone Seleno lay his head on the grass, sighing wistfully. "I wonder if I will make any friends..." auzzie_kat Talia made a movement that looked like she was about to move closer to Seleno to observe him. But in the process got her front hoof caught in a small bush and fell face forward. Clumsy little foal. She lay her head on the ground making it look like she ment to do it. Albit she look arquard with one hoof under her belly and another sprayed out from the small bush. Lady Aria Starstone Seleno looks up, and sees the filly. "Hey... are you ok, miss? That looked a bit painful!" auzzie_kat If tilla could blush she'd be as bright as a tomato. So insted she radiated embarased heat. "Yeah, Im fine, I got my horn thingy stuck in a tree the other day." She got even hotter at the comment. But managed to give a shy smile. Lady Aria Starstone "Oh...." Seleno nods, and smiles. "Glad you're ok. I'm Seleno, whats your name?" auzzie_kat Tila had been holding her breath expecting him to laugh. Slowly she exhailed. "I'm Tila, Nice to meet you Seleno." Maybe Vita was right. The others don't seem that... Scary... After all. Lady Aria Starstone "Its a pleasure, Tila... I've been hoping to meet others!" He stands, and walks over to her. auzzie_kat Tila managed to get to her feet without falling this time to greet him properly. She didn't really want to meet others... But she did want to know why for some reason they scared her. "I'm just glad I met a nice Uni" She mumbled quietly. "I wasn't sure what the others would be like." Lady Aria Starstone Seleno flushed very red when Tila called him a uni. "I... I think I'm just a regular horse..." He whispered. "See?" He lifted his head, so his smooth, hornless forhead was clearly visible. "I'm sorry if it bothers you..." He tilted his head. "I just want to be friends..."

Tilla looked about at the small area where Seleno had taken her. He was right. The boulder did look like a dragon. How cool! She walked around and around it looking at it from all angles. She peered into the little pool. How quant. It was tucked neatly in the side. Perfect size for her and Sel to play in! And so they did.
Many hours had passed untill it started to get dark and Tilla had to make her way back to the cave. As she left the pond she noticed something wobbling in the grass a little way off. There were three little eggs hidden there. And one imparticular caught her eye. She walked over to it and nugged it. The shell was hard as a rock. It mush have been almost ready to hatch! Carefully with the gentleness blessed on females she picked the small egg up in her mouth careful not to crack it or bump it in anyway, shape or form. And proceded to carry the egg back to her cave.
When she arived she placed the egg close to the warm walls. Walked back outside grabbed a mouthfull of long grass and brought it back inside, she made a make-shift 'nest' by pilling a whole heap of grass together and stamping a hoof into it. Then gently she rolled the egg to sit nicly in it. The little black and orange egg wobbled almost happily... Or what Tilla took as a happy wobble.
Tilla went back to meet Sel on the grass. They talked till the sun went down about all sorts of random things. But almost everything reverted back to 'Best Friends'.

Tilla had been playing away from Seleno for a while. He'd gone off somewhere- and she couldn't find him. Ahh well.. Maybe he was playing games with the others? It was all cool though. She enjoyed being on her own.
She'd explored almost all of the hill's and found loads of cool things. At one point she stumbled across the -what looked like- bones of another animal? She couldnt identify it but thought it was pretty awsum. She'd managed to keep her eggy without loosing it- Untill she realised it was well over due to hatch. So unfortuantly now she had to be careful not to crack it.
It was all good though. Living life on her own. Not many others seemed to venture as far as the shy filly did. So when she found awsome flower beds she saw them as "hers". Seeming as no one else looked to have clamed any of it- It was hers. Her 'claim' of land streached almost from the tip enterance of her cave to the edge of the forest. She wasn't brave enough to cross open padocks of grass land, but occasionally if a horse or uni was seen to roam around in the open area's she's step out only to run away.
Days seemed to fly by, she slepped where ever she felt comfortable and woke when she felt well rested.
It was hard on a youngling to live life of a seldom uni. Expecially one of those race's that loved companey. But without Seleno... She had no confidence around others. Maybe he'd come back someday and see her- Where had he gone?
