Perdido Beaches town square. There is a fountain in the middle and some shops surrounding the area, including the grocery and hardware stores.

Savannah stumbled through the square, looking around frantically. "Hello?" She called out desperately, looking for someone, for anyone. She had been at school when... well, when 'it' happened. When her teacher disappeared.
The school had turned into a chaotic and dangerous place, which is why she had left. She had stopped home, but of course, her parents were at work. "Somebody?" she called, turning in a 360 again.

Abe had been running with one of the track people who was 17 till he suddenly disappeared.Then the school was in chaos so he ran out of there and ran to ind his brother at home.When he got there,he wasn't there.He ran to the plaza and noticed a girl there.He walked behind her and said,"Hey,what wrong?"

Savannah suddenly heard a voice behind her. She let out a surprised gasp and whipped around. When she saw it was just a boy, she recovered. "What's wrong? What do you mean what's wrong?? People are just disappearing out of thin air, so yeah, nothings wrong!" Sav spoke sarcastically, her voice trembled with anger and fear.

As usual,Abe didn't that the matter seriously enough,"Yeah I know but it's probably nothing to worry about.Maybe they just got abducted by aliens," he joked.He took her hand and said,"Come on,lets go ind someone who knows what happened."

Sav was startled when the boy grabbed her hand, but didn't let go. The fact that he was so calm helped her nerves. "O-ok, and... sorry I snapped at you, just a litte scared." She muttered. "Uhh, Town Hall is just over there, if anyone knew what was going on, they would." Savannah was beginning to think that this was all a big joke, that everyone was going to jump out and shout "surprise!"

Abe had lead her to the town hall and said,"Well,we're here but it doesn't seem like anyone's home." He let go and started inspecting the place and walked back."Well,this place looks like no one's here either." He said calmly.

"This is wrong." Savannah whispered. She looked up at the boy. "This is wrong." She repeated, louder this time. "There... there should be people here, but..." Sav trailed off. "They're... gone."

Abe scratched the back o his head and started to try to think of a logical way of why and how this was happening.So far,he had no idea.He looked at the girl and saw the girl seemed scared.He sighed and tried making things positive.He held out his hand for her to shake and said,"Well,I'm Abrahan Xane,but just call me Abe."

She shook his hand timidly. "Savannah." She said."And I tried calling my family, but the phone wasn't working." She added.

Abe smiled and said,"Well Savannah,we have to look at everything and figure out what's happening." He sat down and said,"The main thing,no old people.They disappeared into thin air.Second,the school is in chaos and there's no adults to stop it.Third,there is no cell phone reception." He looked up at Savannah and smiled.He stood up and said calmly,"How about we go to the beach?"

Abe smiled and said,"Wow,I didn't expect you to take this so calmly.But lets go." He started walking and stopped for a moment.He turned around and said with a big grin,"Yeah,umm...were's the beach again."

She smiled. His statement had eased the tension for a moment. "Its this way." Sav almost laughed as she started heading in the direction of the beach. But no matter how she looked at the situation, Savannah couldn't shake off the feeling of doubt.
