Located on the very edge of town, is a creepy mid-sized manor, to put simply. Dubbed Pagoda Manor as it is said the new owner of the cafe downtown lived here, which used to be an old run down mansion abandoned years ago until it was recently refurbished and cleaned, and rebuilt.

It retains its unwelcome look though, dark paint, spiked fence and gate blocking immediate entry onto the property. It's said that whoever trespasses meets immediate action.

The resident of this manor? Hermes Hiroshi, and also his personal guard. In fact, when he is not there, his two backup guards are always in the manor, keeping security over the property itself.

Inside the manor, it is strikingly amazing and well kept. And contains many odd antiques and collectibles of varying types. The basement is also off limits, but merely because it's Hermes's personal dungeon. For what purposes? You may not want to know.

"Oi! Ugh, how'd I get stuck being the one to move all this s**t around?" Axe grunted and looked at Red, who merely sat at the table, arms crossed. He could ask her for help. Not cause she looked like a child, cause she was capable of throwing Axe through a wall. But because she usually just sat there quiet until she was needed to fight. "Can I get some sort of help here?"

Red looked at him, then motioned to Cerberus. The taller older looking man stood up, Red letting go of his chain on his collar. The chain hung behind his back as he walked over and helped Axe. "I mean, a Hellas guy can only do so much by himself." No reply. Axe sighed. "You two are exciting company, ya know that?" He griped. The hell was in this vault anyway? It was some magical artifact Hermes had for a long time. But it was never opened, mostly cause apparently it couldn't just be opened like that.

Mamoru had just kept moving away from the World Tree to get away from that girl. "Ugh! The hell is wrong with her? Why the hell won't she just leave me alone." He grumbled as he kept walking around, not sure where exactly he was going. He'd actually ended up pretty far off and was near the edge of town already. He wasn't really paying attention where he was going, too busy complaining to himself. He finally looked around and noticed a rather large mansion or something. "The hell?" What was it doing all the way out here? Well, where was he exactly? Well didn't matter, that girl wasn't here so good enough. It was kind of a weird place, didn't have the welcoming feel you normally wanted with a place like this.

Mamoru wouldn't pay care much normally but from the looks of things it seemed well, almost like no one was there. Maybe just for the moment or at all, he wasn't sure. Either way for a big place it was pretty empty. What the hell, I aint got anything else to do. He wasn't to usually go snooping around places but he had no where else to go and aside from that annoyance a bit ago he was bored. Plus he had some weird kind of feeling from the place, he wasn't sure what kind of feeling but it made him a little curious. He was getting a lot of weird feelings on this campus lately.

Leaving his bag against the fence on the outside he quickly climbed the fence and hopped over the spiked tops, wouldn't do good to get poked or stuck on one. He landed on the ground and stood up looking around as he headed slowly and a little cautiously towards the house. It seemed kinda normal considering, but who knew really. Honestly, what was the worst that could happen to him? Well, unfortunately he was probably going to find out.

Surely the place held no welcoming aura, at all. If anything, something creepy about it, yet curious. More curious, the front door was open. Blatantly so, as in it was literally open and revealing some of the inside of the entrance room. You could see just from standing outside that the inside was something...not rich but...still stood out. Strange figures, ancient artifacts and things that stood out, and that was just the entrance.

It was hard telling if there was even anyone around. But, there were indeed eyes. Somewhere, undetected, watching Mamoru as he stepped onto the property.

Mamoru stopped a moment as he looked at the door, it was open. Had it been open the whole time? "Whatever." He slowly approached as she glanced through it. He could see inside the mansion and it was odd to say the least. There was all kinds of ancient and weird looking things. I guess it sorta fits this weird place. Why the heck is the door open though? It was kinda odd for it to be open if someone was here, but all that stuff meant it wasn't abandoned right? Mamoru wasn't entirely stupid so it was kinda odd. Seeing the door open and the stuff inside though, only added to his curiosity.

Closer and closer he drew to the entrance and as he did he thought he felt something, like he was being watched. But there wasn't anyone around. Just your imagination. His ears twitched under his hat not picking up any sounds, so it had to be clear. Reaching the door frame he peered through, getting a closer look and glanced around the entrance of the mansion. It seemed kinda new or something, like all the artifacts and stuff hadn't been that long yet. Who the hell was staying here anyway?

That was when he was caught. Hook, line, and sinker it seemed. He'd suddenly feel the bottom of a boot hit him square in the back and knock him forward, into the house itself and onto the floor, then hear the front door slam shut rather loud.

"I knew a primitive moron like you wouldn't be able to resist!" Came a shout. Female, matured adult voice which meant older woman. If he turned he'd see a woman, fangs showing and red eyes, long white hair, and dressed like some sort of pirate. Hat and everything. And nice sharp blade hanging by her side.

And boy she looked mad.

Mamoru was just looking around through the entrance when something slammed right into his back knocking him flat on the floor. "Ow! Damn it!" His ears twitched and he turned his head quickly as he caught the sound of the door slamming shut. Standing there in front of the door now was a woman who was looking obviously pissed. Was she the owner of this mansion? Maybe, so far she was the only one here. "Who the hell are you calling a moron?" Mamoru retorted as he growled lightly that was at least until he noticed her attire.

The whole pirate outfit was really weird, not what you normally expected to see. But there was also the fangs and red eyes, why did that seem sort of familiar? Either it was normal. Finally there was the sword. That could be a problem. Mamoru's confidence wavered but he still kept up his attitude back at the woman, even if he was technically trespassing. Mamoru got back to his feet as he dusted himself off a little, glaring at the woman the whole time.

Captain crossed her arms. "The boy who's got the balls to wander onto someone else's property, that's who I'm calling a moron!" She retorted loudly, a bit of an old time pirate's English accent very prominent in her speech. She scoffed, then pulled out her rapier and pointed it at Mamoru, the tip a mere inch away from his nose. "Now give me one good reason why I shouldn't execute you for trespassing onto my Master's property. Do it now before I get impatient, boy."

Mamoru gritted his teeth lightly she had a point, he did wander onto the premise but then again that was one of the least things he'd gotten yelled at about. "Well who the hell just leaves the door open like that anyway?" Yeah not the best comeback but whatever. Mamoru raised a brow as she looked at the woman. What the hell was with the accent anyway. "What's with the pirate act anyway?" Mamoru said with a quick chuckle, it was kinda stupid to him. Then again who'd expect she was actually a real pirate ... or a vampire. Well most might notice that easier, but not Mamoru.

However things changed when the rapier was pointed right at Mamoru, just an inch from his face. Oh s**t. She aint kidding. Mamoru's ears stood straight up under his hat as she was actually a little startled. He wasn't actually expecting that to be drawn on him. "What? Executed? Master? You're kidding right?" Sure this wasn't the first time he was in a similar situation, but threatened to be executed that fast? That was a change. And what was the talk about Master or whatever?

Captain

"I don't know! That's not the point you little ingrate! You climbed right over teh damn fence!" She said. Clearly this woman had a high temper about her. The remark about her pirate act and chuckle didn't help either. "Look at me, boy. Did it ever look like I was kidding?" She said with a more quiet rage. "I assure you, I am no act, nor am I joking. Our job is to keep vermin off the property, and you my boy, are lookin' like just that to me right about now." She said with a sneer, her fangs flashing. Well that was worse than the straight out anger. Now she was sneering like a sinister danger.

Red - Cerberus

"No need for that kind of haste. Suspicion would be drawn if we killed a student." A voice said, coming from behind. If Mamoru turned, two more made themselves visible. A girl with a red hooded cloak, who's physical appearance couldn't have looked older than nine, and an older looking lanky fellow, black hair with silver bangs, who had a rough appearance to him and wore a collar around his neck. A chain hung off it, and the girl appeared to have a hold of the other end. Red's eyes wandered to Mamoru, then to the hat on his head. A look of interest almost flickered across her face. Cerberus let out a faint growl, and approached Mamoru, but didn't attack. He merely sniffed the air around Mamoru, identifying what he was. "What brings a curious half demon like you here?" She asked, looking right at Mamoru still. That gaze was a little bit...creepy.

"You can't call only me an idiot if you leave the front door wide open." Mamoru huffed lightly. "So what if I hoped over a damn fence? Not like I entered the house until you kicked him." Mamoru glared back at the woman. Joy, the two could butt heads together, until the woman got angry enough to kill him probably. Mamoru looked at the woman, taking in her appearance once more. "I don't know, hard to tell looking like that." Honestly, to Mamoru someone in a pirate outfit was kinda hard to take seriously. Calling him a vermin however, did not sit well with Mamoru. "Who the hell do you think your calling vermin? Job? What are you? Some kinda maid?" Mamoru's attitude wasn't helping him out in this situation at all. The look she was giving him was obviously spelling out fire he was playing with here but he obviously wasn't getting the memo.

He jerked his head around as two more showed up. How did he not notice them approaching? Then again how did he not notice the first woman before she kicked him too? Either way the two before him now were ... sort of just as weird as the woman behind him. A little hooded girl and some tall guy on a sort of leash. Seriously, what the hell is with this place? Well the people inside were just as weird as the other stuff in this house. "What do you want squirt?" Mamoru commented as he looked at the girl. The look from her eyes as she stared at him was ... giving him some kinda chill. What was with her?

As the taller male approached him growling, Mamoru stepped back lightly almost bumping into woman as the male sniffed around him. What? Is he ... some kinda demon or something? He was sniffing around like a dog or something. Well that was a little unsettling to Mamoru, he was a cat after all. He swallowed hard however hearing the smaller girl speak up once more. Half demon? How the hell did she know? He'd never seen her before. "W-What? I don't know what your talking about." Mamoru's excuses were really lame, plus even if he had a better one it wasn't going to work on this girl, she was more perceptive than Mamoru knew.

Captain

Captain looked at Red, then huffed. She looked back at Mamoru. She leaned against the front door. Leaning against the front door? Blocking exits? Yeah that wasn't weird. "Well we make decisions in life. And we learn what the consequences of them are. We're not the type to catch a trespasser then let them go with a slap on the wrist." She said, smirking again. She let Red handle it though. Seemed the usually quiet girl took an interest.

Red - Cerberus

Cerberus made a dis-concerned noise, uninterested himself in Mamoru. But her merely moved his hand up quickly, knocking the boy's hat off so it fell to the floor. Red just seemed to grow more interested seeing she was right about the boy being a half demon. "You can't fool my kind." She shrugged. She took a few steps towards him, and Cerberus backed off even as she let the chain go. She reached up, and poked his right ear a bit. "Cat demons...I run into a lot of those..." She muttered something else too. Sounded like 'but none of them ever last,' but it was rather quietly said, like she was talking to herself on that part. She gave Mamoru a smile, though on her it didn't make the creepy feeling go away. "We're not maids. We're guards. We serve our master, the one who owns this manor and its belongings, when he's away on your little school campus."She explained. So why explain everything to him so willingly?

Mamoru glanced behind him, the front door was out obviously. That would have been a little too easy anyway probably. No, these people definitely weren't going to be lenient with this. Just his luck. Mamoru didn't even respond to Captain as his had was knocked off by Cereberus, causing an instant stiffening of Mamoru. Well, so much for trying to deny that fact. "Your 'kind'? What ... the hell are you?" Mamoru asked, a bit cautious now. A little too late sadly. He wasn't liking where this was going, this girl knew about demons and was ... something weird herself and then there was the male who was obviously of some kind of demon decent. Mamoru didn't even think about the woman behind him, for now she wasn't the concern. The creepy little girl and her companion seemed to be the more pressing matter.

Mamoru's ears twitched at Red's poke and his hand quickly swung up, knocking her hand away from him. "Don't touch those!" He hissed. Yeah, even in a situation like this he'd still snap at that. He wouldn't let some random person touch his ears, especially this creepy little girl. His ears flicked lightly thought as he coulda sword he heard her say something but he wasn't sure, then again he probably wouldn't even want to hear it. Guards? Guarding what? Just the house? Seems a bit much for a single house. Mamoru glanced back over his shoulder at Captain, well she definitely had the attitude of a guard that was for sure. "So why are you telling me this?" It was kinda odd how she just explained it all, without him even really asking much. There was something nagging in the back of Mamoru's head that this was going to go down hill from here.

Red - Cerberus

Red grinned. Oh how amusing how they always reacted when you touched their ears. "Well you were going to know eventually, one way or another." She said. "As for what I am...I'm a beastmaster. A rare and nearly extinct demon race. We have the ability to master a variety of skills, but there's one in particular that we excel in, from our very nature." She looked at Mamoru like some mad scientist who wanted to dissect a subject. "So tell me, while you're stuck here with us. Would you care to venture a little guess as to what that particular skill is?"

Mamoru just stared at Red. A beastmaster? So she was some kind of demon as well, but that title ... something didn't bode well for him. He shot a glance at Cereberus, with this new information in mind. Could that be the reason for the chain? So does beast mean ... demons? That would make sense considering the two, but Mamoru kind of didn't want to find out. The way this girl was looking at him was really creeping him out now, she was interested in him but ... for what purpose? Obviously nothing Mamoru wanted to be a part of. Her choice of wording didn't help the situation either. Stuck with them? Mamoru gritted his teeth as his eyes darted around remaining silent, not giving Red an answer to her question. It was obvious he was starting to get nervous now as she tried to find some sort of escape route. He wasn't a coward, but this was something else. Retreating wasn't something he was completely unfamiliar with.
