Kalastair had meant to leave the city for good and track down his attacker. Yet his power was not back to it's full capabilities and without it he would have no way of fighting Yin or anyone for that matter. What had that healing magic done to him or was it Yin's spell? The youkai growled with irritation as his mind continued to be muddled with thoughts of all that had occurred. Moving around the malls walkways he weaved in and out of peoples ways so as not to bump them. Kal shrugged the newly purchased guitar case to ensure its weight, The case concealed all five of his blades a lot less suspicious than a giant bundled sheet. Stopping at the food court he ate at a Taco bell? sounded weird but the food was surprisingly good despite being fake meat and refried beans. Crumpling up his trash he tossed it in the nearest bin before getting waved down by a guy at a music shop. The shop owner was no older than 25 and was interested if Kal could play. "I can, but I would rather not here, If that is all you want I am leaving he stated brashly before the music man stopped him asking if he would like to work there explaining how understaffed they had been since most of the Sunugawa academy students were in school. The youkai sighed thinking if that would help his situation. He needed money to stay hiding out here, And he kind of liked seeing so many humans gathering in one place for enjoyment and activities. " Sure, Boss when do you want me to start? he asked trying to put on a half hearted smile. The shop owner was elated and dragged Kalastair into the store by both hands handing him a uniform with a name tag that said -Hi my name is ...- he smiled and gave Kaastair a run down of the shop before leaving the man to his own devices. Kal sighed again pinning the tag to his new uniform which was a green sweater with the music shops logo. On the nametag he wrote KAL in bold black marker. Sitting behind the counter with the other cashier a girl he waited for instructions and customer mainly his job was to fetch stuff from the back and to help others pick out and carry instruments. This was new and the youkai was surprised how little things like this mattered to humans. A change of pace was all the demon wanted and it was what he was getting. He would go back to the academy and face his judgment another day first he needed to get back on his feet, experience these new feelings and let them grow and then he could see Isamu and the others about Fuzen's plans.

She came upon a music store and stopped, looking inside. She shrugged to herself, why not?, before entering the store. She looked at the various collections of CD albums, pointlessly walking around the store.

Kalastair had been sitting behind the counter for a bit when a young girl wandered into the store. At first she seemed to be looking for something but then as she lingered he realized she was just wasting time. He sighed placing his chin in his palm propping himself up on the counter. His co worker coughed in her hand and then nudged him with her shoulder. She asked if he could help the girl find what she was looking for since she had been on her feet all day and needed a break. It was obviously a lie she had been sitting with him since he had started working. Kal shook his head before pushing himself to stand and walk over to the girl. " Welcome...Are you looking for something particular, If not I would appreciate if you leave and not waste our time" he breathed rather rudely as he had been to all the customers who had come in causing the manager to bring him to the back and plead for him to be nicer. Sighing as the youkai remembered this he shook his head. " Sorry it has been a strange day, Would you like any help?" He asked more politely however his expression was still cold as he looked at the wide selection they were near.

She glanced at the shelves of CDs she was browsing through. "I'm just browsing," She replied. She looked at the CDs and fingered through the CDs. "Maybe I could find something interesting, you know?" She looked back at the man. "Do you have any suggestions?" She asked.

Kal was sent speechless most of the customers had a preference or a specific album or artist but to be asked something he knew nothing about was just...irritating. The man looked around despite having been working here for about two hours he had yet to even listen to any music. " Well I mean...I guess that makes sense.., What kind of music do you like?" he asked his mind really drawing blanks as he looked across Annie's shoulder to the girl at the desk his eyes asking for help but she just smiled and turned away muttering something about him being on his own for this rodeo. She's useless the youkai thought to himself before resting his eyes back on the customer.

"Maybe pop or something of the mainstream music is what I usually listen to but broadening my music tastes will never hurt, right?" She said with a smile. She could tell that this worker didn't like his job here. Annie always wondered why people would still keep their jobs if they hate it so much when they had the option to leave. But that was none of her concern anyways.

Dismantle Repair(Acoustic)
Kalastair bit his lip as he looked over the pop section grabbing a few choices handing them to her as he picked each one. Having never really listened to much music everything was just a guess off the album covers. Then an idea sparked in his head from a few of the earlier teen girl customers. " A few of the other girls that came in here were dying to listen to this one guys music. Apparently he is an upstart and a big sensation he lives in the city I think they said" Kal explained as he moved to the alternative rock aisle fingering through the big hits row. grinning when he found it he held it out to show her the disk. Moving over to the listening center in the store he selected one of the guys songs from the touch screen menu and then handed her a pair of headphones. " I have heard it a few times since the girls blare it and sing aloud, It kind of grows on ya" he admitted before turning and placing his own pair of headphones on and hitting the play button to listen. It was different a soft style but still labeled under alternative due to the fact that it was just the kid's acoustic version. It was funny how songs seemed to get at him a demon taught to destroy swayed by something born of inspiration and instruments. The lyrics hit him hard as he thought about Morana, Vixen, the young youkai, and the flaming girl, Althea helping him even though he was what he was. Peering out of the corner of his eyes he looked this girl over. He wondered if everyone had hidden secrets and things they didn't want brought up. This girl seemed so cheerful despite what was going to happen when Fuzen.... No Kal would fix that. For some reason a strange thought appeared in his mind overwriting everything else. He wanted to make sure this girl could stay smiling something he felt would never truly happen for him.

She took the headphones from him and put then on. When the worker began playing the music, she smiled a little wider. She liked the song, it was really calming. She nodded her head back and forth to the music. She looked at the worker and flashed him a big smile. "This is really good!" She exclaimed. "The lyrics do kinda sound depressing though.." She then added. But even so, the song was nice and the guy's voice was nice too.

Kals face contorted as the girl gave him a nice insult? A flash of momentary irritation filled him and he wanted to take back what he had just thought about but then she said she liked it. So his choice was good?, It didn't matter she was the customer. " I'm glad then. You did say you were broadening your tastes. Why don't you show me what you think is good to listen to then" he offered trying hard to not look annoyed he let a faint smile grow on his features. His co worker giggled but looked back to pretending to be on her phone when Kal shot her a glare. She was so annoying and it was only the first day.

She had money, so why won't buy the guy's album and listen to the whole thing? "Well, seeing that you enjoy alt rock, I don't think you'll like my choices," She admitted. She casually walked over to the country section and picked up a Taylor Swift album. "Taylor Swift is one of my favorite. Although a lot of people don't like her," She said, looking at the album for a while before looking back at the worker, her smile never leaving her face.

Kalastair scratched his head at the mention of the artists name. " Never heard of her, and It's not that I enjoy alt rock. I never really listen to music at all so it is kind of new for me to be around so much of it. How about I be the judge of whether I like her or not? he stated as he looked back to Annie his topaz eyes shining a bit. He stepped back and waved her to choose the song. " For someone so happy you do judge another's tastes awful fast"

"I just assumed that you listen to music all the time, since you work here," She said. "Well, sorry if I offended you!" She smiled again. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and stuck one of Taylor Swift's CD in the listening center near them. She chose I Knew You Were Trouble and put the headphones on, grabbing the over headphones and handing it to the worker. She smiled wide at him as the music began playing.

Kalastair laughed shaking his head realizing how right she was but it was the complete opposite. " No offense taken" He replied as he took the headphones putting them smiling back at her own smile. Then the music started, He raised an eyebrow at it but when he looked at her he smiled through it nodding his head to the beat. It was a nice beat but the girl this Taylor Swift was singing about being left alone and how this guy was trouble. He wondered if this music had ways to tell people their personalities thinking of himself as nothing but trouble as well. He shook the thought away though taking the head phones off when it ended. " And you said my choice was depressing, It was nice though I guess I need to broaden my taste too" he complimented after he had said something she could have taken as offensive.
