Because to the limitation of reading the Bible, praying, worshipping, I don't know what else to do as a Christian. I mostly have no outside activity and get stuck at home on the weekends. I've tried avoiding things that would pull me down and narrowed my results to only those 3 things above. Any verse or help?

Find some Christian friends or write a poem for the Lord. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I don't get out much. I want to witness and have asked Him to send me an opportunity to do so. There are alot of Christians on gaia and there is a website that our Captain,Miss DaMeanor told me about called Divine Intervention where you can watch videos, listen to music and chat live with other Christians too. I don't know if I've been any help but I saw what you wrote and could really relate to how you're feeling. Peace and many blessings to you. biggrin heart

Hey there! How are you? Sorrry I haven't posted in awhile. I got around to looking up that book "Pilgrim's Progress" and WOW! Written in the the 1600's and it's still in print. I had to tell my mom about it and you and we both decided we are going to the library to see if we can find it if they don't we are going to ask them to order it. Thank YOU for motivating me. Hope you have a blessed day. heart

Oh, good Lord. There plenty to do as a Christian. First off, everything to glorify the Lord Jesus. And if you're reading your Bible, it will tell you the things that you can do. Not only how to live as Christ, but things that you can do for your community, and to get the Word out. Eventually, your new Christian life will include that in everything you do. Do you do things at your church? Do you have neighbors to help? Is there a volunteer organization somewhere? When I was first considering Salvation, I worked at my church making and serving the monthly meals. After I came to know Christ, one of the first things that I did when I'd move was to look for a place that I could volunteer at. Your church can be the first stop. I've worked at food banks, collected Christmas presents for people that didn't have it, distributed Thanksgiving turkeys, and helped the homeless. Many other things. Can't really remember now.
Leviticus 25:35-36 35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee. 36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. 37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase. 38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
Luke 14:13-14 13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
Well, I wasn't so comfortable about letting them into my home. But I did what I could to make sure that they had food and shelter. But there's other things - helping to teach, or mentor children, helping the elderly, etc. you get the idea. There's plenty to do. Just make sure that you do everything for the glory of God (from your heart). Or it doesn't really count.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Yes, I've mentioned a lot of things that I've done. But it wasn't really me. It's not, when doing God's Work. And that's quite alright by me. God bless,
Anon. Mosh
