It could be mutliple reasons why your grades are decreasing such as:

-missing assignments
-change in study habit
-not understanding the lecture
-missing class

Or even more. If you're struggling with a subject, I found that it's easier to talk to the professor to get help. They'll set-up a time to work through the area you're having difficulty with, and/or recommend a free tutor lab where someone can. Attending class regularly, or letting your professor know you're going to be absent, will improve your grades as well.

Good luck and I hope your grades improve smile

If u are late to class alot:
-A good tip i found useful to myself is setting the clock 2 hours before the original time u need to wake up to get to class on time. press the snooze button as much as u want. u slowly start to wake up.
If study habits:
-Currently learned this in my cognitive psychology class. U want to encode the information into ur long term memory
+things to do are: testing urself on the material(helps recall), rewriting all ur separate notes into one single notebook(helps refresh memory),study in an environment that is relatively the same as ur testing area AND make ur locations variable(as in ur room, then the library, in a park, etc etc) so that it helps for better recall regardless of where u are. if she or he offers study guides those make excellent tools. have ur friends test u on material. form a study group. take breaks while studying.( sleeping after u study helps for better encoding) called the spacing effect.
+ THINGS NOT TO DO: do not reread material. This is called the "illusion of memory" where u think u are learning something by reading it over and over, however it is stuck in the STM(short term memory) n you only get the basics of the information rather than actually knowing it. also HIGHLIGHTING does not lead to better memory. it makes for some elaborations but it can become automatic where u dont think about it anymore.
If Not comprehending the lecture:
-Ask questions to ur professor or the teacher assistance. they are there to help u.
-go to a tutor at ur campus or one that is advertised in ur town to help u.
-the main thing i feel is the MOST IMPORTANT is to read the material before u come to class. it gives for a better and clearly understanding as the teacher is going over the material.

I do hope this has helped u in some way. I learned these tips(there is more but these are the most effective) from the class that i wasnt doing good in based on the first exam and now that i took the 2nd exam with these skills I feel more confident that i can pass the class.

Bella had provided a lot of good tips heart But before you do anything, you to look for the root cause first. What are the sections that you got below A. Is it the exam, an essay, or an assignment that's pulling your grade down? What subject are you having trouble? In my four years of study in Nursing, I worked hard consistently and always tried to make up for my weaknesses. And it paid of when I mostly get As and B+ as final grade, and ultimately when I graduated with Laude. So let say you say you got a not so okay grade, in your previous essay. Look at the comments that your prof wrote in your paper. If there is nothing written ask your prof on what's missing on your paper and ask him/her on how you can improve your next essay. Some of prof also allow you to talk to them during the writing process. Sometimes you can show them your draft and ask them is you are in the right track.
tell us more about the subjects that you have smile So we can give you more specific answers and help you according to your needs
