Yet another 4-1 weekend, lets see if I can grab the ever elusive 5-0... and take less time than it took the Lions to get it.

San Francisco at Detroit- Being hyped as the game of the week. the 5-0 Detroit Lions host the 4-1 49ers. I think the huge win against the Buccaneers was a bigger statement game than Detroit reaching 5-0 over the Bears. It seems like the Lions struggle in every game they play, the 49ers have shown they can win on the road, and go out to play a Lions team coming off a short week for the second week in a row. The loss of Joshua Morgan will hurt. But Vernon Davis, Gore, and Delanie Walker have the skills to cover the slack.
WINNER- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Philadelphia at Washington- Though the Redskins are leading the NFC East, they are far from running away with this division. They have struggled a lot, Especially after nearly allowing the Rams to come from behind and nearly take that game after leading them 17-0. The Eagles may be 1-4, but they have played every team they have played tough. This team has reached desperation mode, which could make them sloppy as they try to make plays happen, or dangerous to keep their season afloat. I think Reid has what it takes to keep the Eagles season alive... for at least another week.
WINNER- PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Carolina at Atlanta- Cam Newton has had a phenomenal season so far as a rookie QB, but after loosing to the Saints he has shown his immaturity and lack of discipline as he cries to the media over why his team isn't winning. You took over a team that went 1-15 last season, your team is playing better than it has in years, the wins will come, it will take time. I was nearly ready to hand the Panthers a win on a silver platter, but I must admit the Falcons impressed me in their game against the Packers. Even in a loss they kept Rodgers and company in check for most of the game and led early on. I'm almost tempted to sway over to the Falcons, but I'll go with my initial instincts and say Carolina.
WINNER- CAROLINA PANTHERS

Minnesota at Chicago- The Vikings finally got that first win! Question now is can they build momentum off of it? The Bears had a heart breaker against the Lions, a game they could have won in my opinion despite what the final score showed. Cutler has struggled, the offensive line suffers from Mike Martz syndrome, and the team has a short week ahead of them. Can the Vikings pull the upset? I feel the Bears will rebound and will try to stay right behind the Lions. McNabb with continue to struggle, and more questions will rise up whether or not the Vikings should hand the reigns over to Rookie QB Ponders?
WINNER- CHICAGO BEARS

Miami at N.Y. Jets- The Dolphins are coming off a bye and looking for their first win. The Jets are one more loss away from slamming the panic button. If the Jets loose, I highly doubt they can rebound and catch up to the Patriots and Bills, especially if both teams win this weekend. But the Dolphins struggle at the QB position probably more than any other team in the NFL. Chad Henne is out and Moore is in. Will he lead the Dolphins to glory? I don't think any QB on their roster can. No doubt the Dolphins will find their next QB in the upcoming draft. And a loss hear will only help them get the QB they want.
WINNER- NEW YORK JETS

Recap- 49ers, Eagles, Panthers, Bears, Jets
