The blinding sun's rays touched the skin of every trainer and pokemon that dared to be there. There were a few trainers and their pokemon here, playing in the nice ocean water. The beach was nice and big, so there was plenty of room at the beach for them. At least everyone had their own space. The waves washed and turned onto the shore as the light shimmered across the surface. The water was cool, contrasting the sun's heat, a lovely combo. It was this pleasant combination that brought Ice Jack to the beach today.
Ice Jack had always been fascinated by the waters of the region. He had always been fascinated by water period, really. He felt at home and peaceful as he stood at the water's edge, letting the water swirl around his bare feet. He wasn't in his normal clothing at all. He wore nothing but a swimsuit and sunblock for protection. His trunks were white with light blue rims for the waist band. On the right hip was Aqua's symbol where he proudly showed his stitch work.
He was on break, which is why he had the free time come here with his dialga. It should have been no surprise to anyone Ice Jack would be found at the beach. He always was near some sort of water when he had the time. It was just in his nature to be at a water's edge. What a wonderful day, he thought as he watched the blue water turn white as it folded and bubbled around his ankles. This is so calming... I wonder what Kou is feeling? He looked around to see where his pokemon was. He was always worried about that pokemon of his, always trying to run away from him. "Kou-boy?"

"What did you call?!" Koutetsu moved his dark blue bangs from his eyes, finally getting back from the snack machines over yonder. He looked... About as cranky as always. He was dressed in his usually outfit, seeing as he hated getting sand in his... Lower Origins. Besides, his clothing would be fine in water if he chose to go swimming.
But in any case, that was NOT the issue. The issue was that his trainer couldn't seem to REMEMBER his name. He waked to trainer, holding his Oran Berry in one hand and pointing at his Trainer with the other, " How many times have I asked you to CALL.ME.KOUTETSU?!". The Dialga was furious with his master already. That damn b*****d!

A small smile pleaced itself on Ice Jack's face at the comments of his dialga. He knew what his name was. He just didn't care to say his full name. No, he more liked to p*ss him off - seeing his pokemon angry was one of his favorite sights. Not because it was anger, but because it showed emotion. He loved emotion on pokemon, period. To him, emotion made the person, not the likes and dislikes.
Ice Jack pushed a strand of his white and blue hair from his face to get it out of his eye. After all, he wanted to look at Kou's face. "Where did you go, Kou-boy?." He asked him, unanswering his dialga. He took in a big huff of air before letting it escape him. Another wave swirled around his ankles. He was going to go deeper soon - after a bit more teasing. He is too cute.

Dialga glared daggers at the other, folding his arms across his chest as he thought about what he would punish the other with. Suddenly, his more annoyed face turned into more of a smirk... And he turned away, just taking a bite out of his Oran Berry. If he wouldn't call him by his ACTUAL name, he wouldn't acknowledge him.
Looking out at the sea, he could see that it was actually a fairly nice day to visit the ocean's waters. He stood there, just looking out at its waters as he took another bite from the delicious berry. Somehow he was calming down the more he ate from it, even felt a little bad for ignoring his master... BUT, not bad enough to answer him.

Ice Jack's bottom lip pursed in a pout when the dialga ignored him. Fine, be that way he thought as he glanced back at the beautiful waters. So calming... It was hard to imagine a world without all this beautiful water. He didn't understand how someone could be afraid of water, or how Magma wanted to cover the waters with more land. There was plenty of land and not enough of this shimmering beauty. Oh, if the ocean were a person he would marry it in a heartbeat. But what was he thinking? He glanced down at his ankles and watched the bubbles as he dug his toes into the soft sand. Unfortunately, under all that soft sand was some pretty sharp shells. And, unfortunately for him he cut his foot a bit. He watched as the soft red liquid pulled out with the ocean.
Coming back into reality, he glanced at Koutetsu and gave a soft chuckle. "Is your berry good lil' Kou-boy?" He asked him and folded his thin arms over his chest. What a terrible punishment. Perfect, but terrible. It bothered him but at the same time, he was ok with it.

Dialga sniffed the air suddenly smelling blood, he looked over to find his trainer bleeding... He got a really annoyed look as he just stared at his trainer, trying to resist saying anything, but.... He just couldn't let the guy bleed there. "You idiot. Stop talking to made up people and get out of the water." He could only imagine how much that would sting.
He moved to Ice Jack, bending down beside him and grabbing his foot, pulling it up and right out of the water. "You know how much bacteria that is probably in this water? You need to put something on this cut. How'd you even cut it you dolt?" Dialga asked, looking up at the younger male. He was probably just looooving this. Despite all that harshness, he didn't want to see his trainer getting hurt over something so stupid.

"Probably a sea shell." Ice Jack replied, smiling slightly down at him. It was true that it stung, but the cut itself was small. It was almost done bleeding already. As Koutetsu pulled his foot out of the water, he started to loose balance and he wobbled momentarily before falling back onto his butt. Luckily for him, the padding was sand so his butt didn't hurt that much. He blinked and looked up at the dialga now. His eyes shone brightly from the sun's reflection, but he still had little emotion on his face. His eyes were so serious all the time - even when he was relaxed.
In all honesty, Ice Jack wasn't prepared for any wounds on the beach so he didn't have anything to put on it. He just planned to let it heal up by itself, which wasn't necessarily a good idea since he could get an infection. Kou was right about that. He did love the fact Kou was fretting over a little wound on him, though. It made him smile a little more. He glanced at the foot Kou held, at the wound. It stopped bleeding and started to scab over already. A sigh a relief escaped his lips.

Dialga watched as the wound stopped bleeding, growling a bit. He tossed the rest of the Ouran Berry into his hand, before picking Jack up into his arms and stood up with the other. It seemed easy for him, as if the other male was as light as a feather, but this wasn't true. Koutetsu was just that strong. "Come on, there's a life guard right over there. I'm sure he has a first aid kit. You don't have to put a band-aid on it, you just have to clean it." The pokemon practically ordered on the other.
Koutetsu began moving towards the life guard, holding his trainer bridal style. Ugh, his trainer was just so irresponsible! Next time he'd make sure to bring his OWNS super potions. Obviously if he got attacked by Giratina or some other legendary he'd be up s**t creek. Sure he was the strongest ever, at least in his mind, but he wouldn't be able to defeat them without at least A wound. Ice Jack was hopeless, honestly.

___Pink found its way to Ice Jack's cheeks as he was picked up. Now he was being carried like a bride. How embarrassing... He thought as he glanced around, looking for the life guard. He had forgotten there even was a life guard around. Spotting the colors and bench of the life guard, he relaxed in dialga's arms. He'd get it cleaned, just as Kou wanted. "Alright, alright. Don't use that tone with me." He joked as he glanced back at Koutetsu. Even thought it was a joke, Ice Jack didn't use a tone that was lighthearted. His eyes stayed serious but his lips twitched into a slight smile. He would never order Kou, or any pokemon, to do anything unless it would put them in danger.. He just hoped Kou knew that.___As he was held and carried, he thought about carrying his very own first aid kit to the beaches. He usually carried potions but not anything for himself. He just didn't really care about himself too much, but he really should. After all, what would happen if Ice Jack fell incredibly ill? Who would take care of Kou? He knew no one would volunteer for that.

"I'll use whatever tone I want." Was the only thing Dialga replied with, before giving his owner over to the life guard. " He cut himself on a shell like a dummy. He only needs something to clean up his wound" he told the life guard, holding his arms back to across his chest.
The life guard simply nodded, cleaning up Ice Jack's foot, then sent them on there way. Dialga didn't carry his trainer this time, just stood beside him.

___A chuckle escaped Ice Jack's lips at his dialga. What a cute pokemon, he thought as his foot was being cleaned. He would have rather done it himself, but he didn't want to cause his dialga to be thrown into a fit. There was just something eerie to him than letting a total stranger clean wounds, but he just kept his mouth shut until after the wound was cleaned. ___He didn't mind not being carried again. In fact, he felt better about using his own feet. He glanced at Kou as he took a stand, being careful as to not loose his balance. Feeling the sand again, he couldn't help it but to dig his toes into the soft remains of coral that covered the beach. The coolness of the sand made him want to dig his feet in deeper. Very quickly, he found both feet covered completely by the sand.___"What shall we do now, Kou-boy? Would you like to walk the beach?"

Koutetsu had just started feeling better, and was even smiling as he looked over to watch the waves of the sea again... That is until his trainer had to ruin it for him... AGAIN. Instead of getting mad this time, he again ignored his trainer.
"Hm? I wonder who that weird haired guy is talking to?" Dialga said, obviously trying to send a message. He looked around, as if he were looking for the person his trainer was talking to. "Could it be the life guard?"

___"Oh, how cold!" Ice Jack looked at Koutetsu like he just got a new wound. In the heart. He knew it was going to happen, but he put on an exasperated face expression as he glanced over his dialga from head to toe. He pulled a foot out of the sand as he glanced back at the ocean. Look at them... Each wave folds and bubbles perfectly. He thought as he smiled a bit. His eyes shined brightly, this time not because of the setting sun. He loved the ocean that much - unlike any human. ___As Ice watched the ocean waves more, he recited a poem he once read. "Old Man Ocean, what do you tell, What do you sing in the empty shell?" It was just above a whisper, being quietly said but just loud enough to be heard. He use to love hearing poems about waves and water, which is why he knew some. Like many people, certain lines stayed in his memory.___ "So, is that a no on a nice, long walk? With your favorite treat afterwards?" He tried to bribe him.

Koutetsu just looked away from Jack, seeming as stubborn as ever. If he couldn't use his REAL name, there was no point in talk to him. Even when Jack was being cute and reciting weird poems, he wouldn't just let Jack call him Kou-boi any longer! This was war! He wasn't a cow, and he certainly wasn't a cowboy, so why call him that? Just because he was too lazy to say his actual name? Uh-uh, that was just not going to fly.
Koutetsu decided that MAYBE, just maybe Jack wasn't getting the point across that he wasn't happy being call 'Kou-boi'. 'This should surely get my point across' he thought as the as the orb on his chest started to glow. He put hand up, as energy collected just above the surface of his hand. "Aura Sphere!" he shot it off into the distance of the water, and the ball eventually plunged into the ocean, created a rather large set of waves to follow afterwards. Hopefully THIS would get his point across.

___The sudden burst of anger made Ice Jack jump a little bit from shock. He glanced over at the waves created by his pokemon's aura sphere, wanting to run in and jump in those large waves. He knew running to play in them would anger the dialga even further, so he stayed put and took his other foot out of the sand. Sighing, Ice looked back at him. "Alright, alright. I'll call you Koutetsu. I give." He gave up, playing with the rim of his trunks with his right hand in nervousness. Even though the anger was caused because of Ice Jack, he couldn't help but to think of his pokemon's bad attitude. ___Oh, what am I going to do with you? He thought. The thought showed on his face when he glanced back at Koutetsu, as he continued to play with the rim of his trunks.
