 xxxxxxxxxx The story, oddly enough, begins where you end. The tragedy of your early demise broke the hearts of many, parents, friends, teachers and classmates. When the world finally slips away between your fingers as you fall into the deep abyss of purgatory, a deal is made. One that could possibly save your life. The chance of redemption does not come cheep though. For the chance to have a second chance, your most valued possession is taken and will only be returned upon winning, otherwise it is forever lost. And if you happen to die during the game or fail to finish the round, every chance is gone and your soul is lost. xxxxxxxxxx The game requires partnership. Upon the first day, every player must have a partner, otherwise they face their demise. From day one on, the partners must work together to stay alive and to be sure that every mission is completed by either their own hands or another team's, otherwise they face their demise. The Keepers must be obeyed, but they can be challenged in battle by a partnership, though, winning is unlikely. At the end of the week, the remaining partnerships, (assuming that at least one partnership survived this far), must fight their way to the top of Hog City to fight the Leader. The Leader (whoever chooses to fight in the current game), must fight until beaten, and then, and only then, with the winner be brought back to life. Though, it isn't to assume that both partners will be brought back to life. The one with the highest amount of points collected throughout the game (based upon fighting skills, attitude and overall participation) will be brought back. All of the remaining players will be given their entry fee back, and the option to try again or become a Keeper. xxxxxxxxxx It was set up to save the ones who were too young to die. But after the years the Leaders became weary of the same old game and seeing player after player join the game and then losing right away. Along with the Keepers, they were starting to become bored with the human race and they were losing hope in anyone being better than what they witnessed every day. Games were becoming shorter because Keepers made missions even harder to complete by taking out the weaker partnerships before they had time to grow stronger. Leaders would use their full strength to defeat all opponents, even before the final day. The game was becoming nearly impossible to win.xxxxxxxxxx And Where is the creator during all of this? You might ask. Well, to put it plainly, the Creator has gone missing. The creator could be apart of the game to spark the fire back into the Keeper's souls, or the Creator could have gotten just as sick and tired as the rest of them. Either way, without the head of the game around, the Leaders are left in charge of the game to do as they please. Will they offer Redemption at the end of this game? Or destroy it completely so they can join the human realm again?
