Deep with in the deserts of the country, a trio of pyramids stand, interlocked by a chain of underground tunnels. It is said that within these three pyramids lay three great beasts that await the incarnations of the three great heroes of legend's past... The insides of the pyramids are crisscrossed into a labyrinth, so many choose to never stray far from the entrance.

"Okay, so this is the place huh?" Oasis states as she stretches her arms up and out to full reach.
"Yes, the note said that her group would be here, I think we might be early." The man driving the oddly motorized contraption states as he put it in park and turned to face Oasis. He pulled a gourd from his side and reached it back to the bright eyed redhead. "Make sure to stay hydrated, I swear its hotter here than anywhere else." the man states with a smirk.
"...Oh you say that every time you leave home." Oasis states with a sideways smirk as she took the gourd, it was full of fresh cool water. "Thanks though." she adds before hoping off the back of the vehicle. It had been awhile now since she had last seen her partner Hatsuma and she was really anxious to learn what kind of training her friend had been up to for the past year or so. Oasis stretched again pulling in a deep breath she had changed a fair bit herself since the last time she saw Hatsuma so it would be fun to see where both of them had gone during the time apart. Oasis reached up and fetched the goggles which rested on her forehead and pulled them down to cover her brilliant golden eyes. Her new wardrobe was functionally similar to her previous ensemble however it looked a fair bit different. She was quite proud of the newest additions however. The long double belt which hung loosely around her waist holstered a pair of interesting new weapons. A pair of hand-cannons developed specially by her father. The prize addition was the shining long barreled rifle at her back. Her training had taken a fair turn from standard shinobi tactic. However the rectangular blade she carried before was still proudly sheathed at her back, the odd little lock no longer present on its handle, it seemed as if the weapon itself had undergone a transformation as well. "Well then suppose I just wait for her here huh." Oasis states with a smile as she looked out at the sky her red hair tied in four pigtails two at either side of her head straddling her goggles strap.

The tunnels under the pyramids radiated with a darkness that pierced into any light that might have crept its ways into the depths. A constant rumbling could be heard sounding like monstrous slumber of the creatures rumored to dwell deep within. Hatsuma’s target however wasn’t the legendary creatures within oh no, it was a massive gorge serpent that had eluded her into the catacombs beneath. To the untrained this beast would be hard to catch as it gave almost no hints of its’ movements however Hatsuma was raised and trained in the ways that would allow one to track and subdue the beast with relative ease. She needed to hurry however since she was supposed to meet up with Oasis again and undertake a mission written out by the shinobi village. Hatsuma perked her ears up to listen for the slithering beast as it wove silently through the catacombs in an attempt to flee. Unlike the other beasts that had been hunted before this one represented slyness and cunning and embodiment of stealth it held these this in its intellect as well. Letting instinct take the lead she veered off to a smaller passage and soon found her way in front of the serpent who reared back reflexively shooting forward into a strike. Hatsuma four hands worked fast performing seals as the white particles common in her techniques sprung to life and clung onto the serpent’s body and quickly soaked in. from there the massive beast twitched and writhed a bit before halting its movements entirely. As it stopped moving Hatsuma was already holding a scroll in her hand and quickly formed a binding circle from it to the beast. The mass of the creature began breaking apart into a fine mist as it funneled into the blank paper. Quickly characters formed in succession until the creature was entirely absorbed. Rolling the scroll she tucked it away on her outfit’s new harness system, it clicked in gently and she slowly began retracing her steps to exit the pyramid. She was quiet hoping to not disturb the ancient creatures beneath, though it was unlikely to occur.

Soon light trickled from the open entrance she and her newest capture had entered through and in moments the beating sun of the desert touched her flesh. Looking around a moment she spied a familiar yet older figure on the horizon. Raising and arm she waved to her friend before closing the distance. Once at a comfortable range she spoke, “Hello again Oasis you look well off.” She commented her tone of voice hardly changed from the years time that had passed. “You look more confident in your skill, I take it your training went well.” She stated bluntly creating a somewhat casual conversation starter. Hatsuma herself had gone through some vigorous technique training and certainly came out more knowledgeable in the years time that had gone by.

Oasis watched for a little while as the vehicle pulled away an eventually vanished into the horizon. She closed her eyes and soaked up the heat of the sun and felt the caress of the desert wind. She expected to be waiting here for awhile for Hatsuma to arrive. However as she stretched her arms out to her sides and bathed in the sun she could sense movement nearby. Her eyes opened to narrow slits as her hands fell to her sides each resting gently at the sides of the grips to the magnificent weapons her father had painstakingly crafted for her. She stretched out her senses her eyes shimmering blue as she traced the movement of water in the area. all but one sizeable mass of water was moving in ways expected for this area. The one mass was roughly human sized. She flicked her left hand across the respective fire-arm before spinning around to face the opening to one of the pyramids, the gun whipped out of the holster casting a cascade of sunlight in multiple directions as it reflected from the lustrous surface of the metal. The gun seemed to all but hiss as she held for a moment before recognizing the shape of the water she was sensing. She quickly spun down and holstered the weapon. A big smile encompassed her face as she realized the only person that could be exiting from that pyramid was none-other than the friend she had come to visit, Hatsuma. Her thought was entirely solidified when the figure waved one of four arms which at this distance was only just discernible. Oasis made closing the gap in distance easy as she raced out across the sand. She may have learned alot and trained seriously while they were apart, but there was no changing the root of who Oasis was. "Hatsuma-tan!" she shouts energetically as she all but pounces on her four armed friend. However she held back from that for Hatsuma's sake, that and she wasn't sure if the butt-stock on her rifle would possibly crack her on the head during such a maneuver. "Yea, I trained a lot!" she states as she struck a confident pose. Oasis paused for a moment to lift the goggles from her eyes and get a better look at Hatsuma. "...and I see you have grown as well." Oasis states motioning her hands in front of her own chest referencing the amount larger that Hatsuma's bust was from her own. A mischievous cat-like grin following that statement she had become a little bit more of a trouble maker it would seem. "So, THOSE aside it looks like you learned a ton too." She states with a little chuckle "Oh wait... Hey, I thought I was getting here early to meet you and the hunting team from the caravan, how come your here and they aren't? Am I actually like... REALLY late?" she questions blinking incredulously, surely that couldn't have been the case, she had gotten up to the alarm and everything to be sure to be on time.

"Actually I am the team, the other members were busy getting the caravan ready to move to the meeting location." Hatsuma explained point over her shoulder in the general direction of the caravan. "You are actually quite early, I just came sooner because of the mission the village sent our way. We need to go to fire country there is supposed to be some kind of vandalism going on in one of the villages there it might or might not coincide with that group we came across last year..." Hatsuma continued all the while checking over her gear making sure she had everything ready for travel. "Did you get a message to your people that we would be traveling abroad once more? we certainly need to be ready for a long journey again. I've told my genin team that the mission was dangerous enough that they should focus on the smaller missions around the village... they remind me of you but in duplicate..." she explained commenting offhandedly about the twins she had met as her fresh genin underlings. It was also clear she didn't view Oasis in any particular rank as she stood outside the molding of what ranks would consider average.

Oasis tipped her head to the side and thought about that for a bit. "so..." she paused and cocked an eyebrow curiously "Hatsuma-tan once again went ahead of the caravan an did their entire mission by herself!" she states with a laugh. It was pretty funny just how often that seemed to happened. "well I'm pretty sure they would know why I'm out here. However just to be safe..." Oasis paused what she was saying and reached into a pouch at her thigh and retrieved an odd cube shaped metal object. She then tossed the object into the air, where it sprung open and became an odd metal bird. Oasis quickly scribbled out a message and tossed the small scroll to the bird, which snatched it up in its beak before taking off. "okay there we go." she states with a grin. "Hm. Oh I need to meet them eventually ya know!" Oasis cries out energetically missing the fact that she had just been compared to them. Or maybe she hadn't missed it and thought the act of meeting two of herself would be entertaining. Either way she seemed very enthused about the entire concept. "So its off to fire country then I assume!" she adds as she threw an odd gesture skyward, she was going to walk off in the direction they were to be headed but she didn't know what kind of transportation they would be using and therefore she stopped and looked to Hatsuma.

"None... rather I'm going to use a technique I was taught involving spirit sand." Hatsuma commented pulling free two small familiar white triangles. instantly her name appeared upon one and Oasis' upon the other. She handed oasis the triangle that had her name on it before speaking once more. "This is like a ticket to be a part of the technique, it will feel very strange at first but it will only last a moment." Hatsuma explained. "The technique works off of my memory and locations we've traveled, it then converts us into particulate and transfers us rapidly across great expanses..." The technique might be frightening sounding at first but she was sure that she could perform it well after all she had practiced it quite often. "Be ready now..." she stated before stepping back from Oasis. She proceeded placing her hands into two different series of seals. Normally the technique took to individuals but thanks to her multiple arms and above average chakra levels she had no issue performing the technique on her own. holding her hands in the final seal of each series the technique went under way. From her feet tendrils of white sand arched out into a circle around the two girls. The white triangles that bore their names quickly melted onto their flesh leaving a tingling warm sensation. The sensation grew and enveloped their bodies soon turning to a feeling of a limb having fallen asleep. Soon Hatsuma's vision stretched and warped soon falling away like grains of sand, Oasis would likely be seeing a similar view. Cold air soon rushed over her every molecule as the technique went underway. As fast as the strange sensations came they just as quickly dispersed as they would be at their destination in fire country within moments.
