The tunnels under the pyramids radiated with a darkness that pierced into any light that might have crept its ways into the depths. A constant rumbling could be heard sounding like monstrous slumber of the creatures rumored to dwell deep within. Hatsuma’s target however wasn’t the legendary creatures within oh no, it was a massive gorge serpent that had eluded her into the catacombs beneath. To the untrained this beast would be hard to catch as it gave almost no hints of its’ movements however Hatsuma was raised and trained in the ways that would allow one to track and subdue the beast with relative ease. She needed to hurry however since she was supposed to meet up with Oasis again and undertake a mission written out by the shinobi village. Hatsuma perked her ears up to listen for the slithering beast as it wove silently through the catacombs in an attempt to flee. Unlike the other beasts that had been hunted before this one represented slyness and cunning and embodiment of stealth it held these this in its intellect as well. Letting instinct take the lead she veered off to a smaller passage and soon found her way in front of the serpent who reared back reflexively shooting forward into a strike. Hatsuma four hands worked fast performing seals as the white particles common in her techniques sprung to life and clung onto the serpent’s body and quickly soaked in. from there the massive beast twitched and writhed a bit before halting its movements entirely. As it stopped moving Hatsuma was already holding a scroll in her hand and quickly formed a binding circle from it to the beast. The mass of the creature began breaking apart into a fine mist as it funneled into the blank paper. Quickly characters formed in succession until the creature was entirely absorbed. Rolling the scroll she tucked it away on her outfit’s new harness system, it clicked in gently and she slowly began retracing her steps to exit the pyramid. She was quiet hoping to not disturb the ancient creatures beneath, though it was unlikely to occur.
Soon light trickled from the open entrance she and her newest capture had entered through and in moments the beating sun of the desert touched her flesh. Looking around a moment she spied a familiar yet older figure on the horizon. Raising and arm she waved to her friend before closing the distance. Once at a comfortable range she spoke,
“Hello again Oasis you look well off.” She commented her tone of voice hardly changed from the years time that had passed.
“You look more confident in your skill, I take it your training went well.” She stated bluntly creating a somewhat casual conversation starter. Hatsuma herself had gone through some vigorous technique training and certainly came out more knowledgeable in the years time that had gone by.
