Meta Knight will be officially ban from competitive smash in North America starting January 9th, 2012. What are your opinions?

Generation Prince Meta Knight will be officially ban from competitive smash in North America starting January 9th, 2012. What are your opinions? For me it does not make any difference. I barely use him and I would like to know why he is being banned... <(0_0<)?

Meta Knight is banned for having movesets that outclasses many characters. All of his moves have high priorities and can exploit the game. He does not have any disadvantages with any character. Out of all major tournaments, Metaknight has won the most. Although many players that do not play in tournies don't care.

thats silly, then they should ban kirby or DK because they can just walk you off the edge and fly back up, there is nothing cheap like that with meta knight

I think that is unfair because some people use him as a key player (not me) but that's just like saying they ban pikachu because some ppl are experts with it or banning ike because he is powerful too. Its not really equal.

He won so many tournies because people know how to use him it not his moves it is how you use them. (....................................)I have no further discution on this matter.

Well I have to say that his moves ARE high priority. BUT his moves are relatively weak. Many times, even at high damage, his smash attacks do not gaurantee a kill. Also, when I play, he may be my opponent, but many times I'm quick to the trigger before he gets there. In other words, people are complaining because they suck! xp NOT fair to the players who actually try to for the K.O.

I know this from experience from school, and I know that at LEAST someone uses him and does the same move combo over and over again, which really makes me start to lose my cool when playing professionally. I am not offending the Meta-Knight users that ACTUALLY know how to use him in an un-cheap and an un-annoying way. Other words: 'Nuff Said.

Hm. Interesting. I never thought of Meta Knight as 'cheap'. People thought Ike was cheap because of his strength, yet he's slow.
I think Meta Knight isn't really cheap. He's somewhat fast, and somewhat strong. Yet he isn't absolutely super strong and absolutely super speedy either.
Well, I don't really know many Meta Knight users. I suppose I wouldn't really care.
