Okay so I have been working 2 projects at a time. Now that I hae a little bit more time to work at it.
razz I have my big ugly blanket that was on hold during faire. It's halfway finished and definitely too big to travel with so it sits beside my bed for quickies at night.
And then I started to make rainbow corrugated legwarmers from a skein of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton, color: Psychedelic. I was going to attempt to make a fun faery costume for Halloween and I thought rainbow leg and arm warmers would be pretty cool but, I'm not sure I can make all 4 pieces. So far I am almost done with one leg warmer and about halfway through the skein... So I am debating whether or not I should just make leg warmers or keep going and turn this into a sort sleeved shrug (which could be good for blending my faery wings.)
Here is what I have so far:
The length is about right to finish off the first leg warmer. I am aiming for a bell-shape that synches at the top with a black ribbon.

All is in half double but I made a double at the second row and again for the second to last row to incorporate the ribbon

Overall image showing corrugation and how much I have left on the skein...

Hehe, now that I look at it, seems like I lost a stitch at the point where the pattern changes but in reality, I didn't.
