Vending Like A Boss Your point being? I don't speak Arabic... ~ Si, Learn. 3nodding Point being, it's ironic. Hence, "Is there anything more ironic?" I will be attempting.
Edit: As well as being unable to learn and pronounce prayers you wish to know.

Brother, what is restricting you from your prayers just because you can't recite arabic? You need to do this now, you are loosing out on rewards..remember on the day of judgement Allah will ask you about your prayers and something to that effect. There are many sites and videos on how to pray in arabic. Do you have a local masjid in your area? If so you need to get with the brothers and ask them how to pray and to teach you the arabic + english of the prayer, don't sit and wait on this it is too important. Seeking knowledge is not a sunnah but an obligation, so go learn how to pray before Allah takes our soul. Also remmeber that only surah al-fatiha is required for prayer (the only surah in arabic that u need to know + recite during prayers because without this your prayers are invalid)
Noooooo excuse to delay the prayer

I, myself also think that it's pathetic for me to not able to speak or understand Arabic language. But I think we can learn it (even just bit a bit). At least we must understand the meaning of the surah when we pray. (I want to able to understand and speak the basic of Arabic language within 3 years.) I'm agree with victoria2012, Allah understand every language so I don't think there are a restricted line (or area?) between Allah and Abdullah. But well, like I said before, we should know the meaning of surah that we pray.
