February the Fifteenth:
Dear diary,
Today has been rather quiet with not many of the Okiya's people or staff about. I practised my shamisen today and thought that I was getting better at it. I also completed my sewing and had some tea as I had a break. The Okiya's gardens are my favourite place to spend time in when it is nice weather. I am also really loving school at the moment as it keeps me busy.
I am missing my home for some reason though I know the Okiya is my real home and family now. I read alot when I can as I find that it is essential to keep updated on the current affairs of the world around us.
Well diary I shall close you and soon hopefully fall asleep as it is getting rather late into the night.
