[ The Fool ] Woof! Woof! A little brown dog barked away as the hands on its clock stomach striked seven. Sighing heavily under her bed sheets, a groan escaped from deep within the nurse's throat. She didn't wish to wake up.. not just yet. A few minutes more was what she thought while her slender hands roamed about to silence the canine, but instead, she somehow lost her balance and fell off her bed. Managing to tumble onto the floor along with bed sheets tangling her feet together, she rested her chin against the cold wood and let out a sigh. Well, at least she was awake now and she did need to make her way over to the Flower Shop to decorate her home. Rubbing at the straining pain, she pushed herself up and stood onto both feet wrapped in a pair of white socks.
"Now.. lets see.." She did a few stretches here and there to soothen her aching muscles. It wasn't the best of ways to start out a special day but it could always get better. Cybille then turned around and quicky picked up the bed sheets sprawled across the floor before laying it on top of her bed, smoothening every crease out. Fluffing her pillow, she pulled off a crimson colored hair tye and allowed her wavy, raven black hair to drop down to her waist. Two pointy ears poked out from under and wiggled just a bit but not enough for the eyes to see.
Cybille Jardin. An elf, aged middle twenties, single and living alone in her home. Well, of course her life isn't as boring or pitiful as it sounded like. She worked as a nurse at the local clinic along with Obert Neal, the doctor. Life did not seem the same after their little relationship. Though Cybille figured it was for the best. She was like a mother to him, just like to anyone else. No matter how old one was, she would tend, listen and care for them. Unless you did tamper with her nerves, she sometimes would hurt you with her needles if you went too far. Nevertheless, Cybille did her best to heal the injured and sick. After all, it was her job.
Brushing through blacks locks, she headed over to her bathroom to wash herself up. Whilst turning on the tap, Cybille admired her half-awakened self. Eyes are blank in the morning though later brightened with much enthusiasm once a splash of water hit her face. Curled hair were straightened out quickly with her handy dandy comb and a bit of gel which somehow positioned itself by the side of the sink. I swore I left it up on the glass table.. She arched an eyebrow for a moment but shrugged it off.
Taking a few strolls, after wiping off those droplets from her face, she searched about her closet for a white collared shirt, white short skirt, and a red tie. Anyone could guess it was the nurse's uniform.. and it did make others wonder whether she had anything else to wear. Most definately but it has become a habit to walk around like that. Anyway, it did made her feel smart.. somewhat.
She folded her pyjamas aside and slowly pulled on her uniform for the day, making sure that her hair did not catch onto any buttons or so. Once done, she snatched her brief case and the keys to her home from their rested position before making her way out. Before doing so, she said her goodbyes to her deceased parents whose photographs sat on the dining table and locked the door behind her.
The weather was wonderful. A perfect scenery to continue her day. The streets, as usual, were rather empty apart from other students and business men. "I wonder what sort of blossoms shall I buy today.. Mother dearly loved carnations and lilies" A small smile curved her lips upwards as she thought about her parents whilst her pulled on black leather shoes tapped against the pavement. How long has it been? Three years? It was indeed heart breakening to hear about her family's tragedy. But Cybille was not one to cry after one night. Her mother taught her the truths in life and how one should just leave it as how it was.
I miss them however.. Akkhima Erin got off to a late start that morning. He slept in late, which was alright by him, it would still be a good day. After all, it was Valentines Day, one of the best days of the year. He didn't have a girlfriend, but most of his female aquaintances went all googly-eyed all day long, gushing about boys and candies and flowers. He found this endlessly amusing. Akkhima The only thing he didn't look forward to was all the chocolate. Last year, girls kept giving it to him all day long, which wasn't much of a problem except that they wanted to be sure he appreciated it, so they would force feed a piece to him. He didn't want to dissapoint his fans, so he would eat up and put on his most charming smile and tell them how much he loved it... even though inside, it made him want to throw up.
But this year, he was approaching it with a renewed optimism. FllnFalcon Ariette walked slowly down the street, lost in her own little world. Valientines day was normally very lonely for her, seeing as no one seemed to be able to work up the guts to approach her. So she didn't really pay much attention to the world around her, why bother? it wasn't like anything too important was going to happen anyways.(Can't think!@ Arg!) Tsuki Sohma Okies :3 Then I'll RP here. XD *kicks Tim* Damn you and your non social skillage... Well you just don't talk much. =.x Tim had not take pardon to the people around him. He had received complementary chocolates from the lady working at the flower shop. He examined the box of chocolates. It was a small-sized heart shaped box of them. He didn't hate chocolate nor did he like it. He held on to the chocolate than putting it into his pocket. It was a bad idea from his past experience with having chocolates in his pocket.
After awhile, a miss from the shop came up to him. She asked, "Hello there, sir. Will you be buying anything today? And Happy Valentines' Day." She giggled and smile.
As shy as Tim was, he answered back stuttering somewhat, "A-ah...N-no. And Happy V-valentines Day to you too."
"Alright, sir," she replied and went back to her work.
Tim wanted to kick himself. He wasn't really good at communicating with people especially girls. Mostly, he could not communicate with Brianne. He had a crush for her for the longest time.
Tim decided to head for the cafe to grab something to eat. It was much better than pacing back and forth infront of the flower shop.(( XD It sucks.... )) Akkhima Erin showered and got ready for the day with a bigger smile on his face and a brighter song in his head than usual. He just had a good feeling for the day. He took one last glance in his mirror, straightened his goggles on his head, and left his house for the park area, where he knew everyone would be shopping and strolling with their loved ones.FllnFalcon ((*wants his sprite* pouts*)) A small flowershop had caught Ari's eye and she walked slowly over to investigate. She looked closely at all the pretty flowers, but none of the really caught her intrest. But she smiled at the lady that brought her a complimentary box of chocolates.
"here you go." She said softly looking a little nervouse as she handed Ari the box. "Thank you." Ari said, trying to smile at the lady but afraid that it had come out as a grimace. Ari had forgotten her bag, so she tucked the box of chocolates under her arm. "Will you be buying anything today?" "no thank you, but your shop is very pretty." Ari smiled and turned to leave. Flowers were fun to look at, but they really wern't her thing.
(arg! talk about constipated writing!) astralines Previously with : Nate playfully rolled his eyes and sprung up, dragging Aerin to his feet as well. Yet the poor mouse boy was still off balance, so he fell directly into Nate's arms.
"Ieeeee! Nate, Nate I'm so sorry I'm horrible-!"
Nate laughed. "Bit much for a first 'date' isn't it?" he teased, which forced Aerin's already flushed cheeks even darker.
He shook his head and scooped the smaller into his arms, much to the other's chagrin. Ignoring protests, he clutched tighter and with a leap only a kangaroo rat could manage, started his trek towards the flower shop.
Now:
Aerin continued squealing for the first few swift moments of the ride, but soon gave into clinging desperately to Nate's shoulders. 'Oh my godohmygod, I hope he doesn't drop me, ohmygod I can't even see things around me he's going so fast ohmy-' poor Aerin's rambling and quite panicked thoughts ended abrubtly as Nathaniel halted immediatly in front of the flower shop, heels gently digging into soft earth.
"We're heeeere!~" Nate cried, and unceremoniusly dropped Aerin. Who, upon lack of contact, squealed and clawed for the nearest thing, which would be Nate's waist. Nate peered down at the pale shivering mass at his feet.
"...I don't think you were quite ready for the Nate Express, eh?"
"N-no. I...don't think I was." Aerin bent over as he tried to stand, one pale hand clutching at his belly. "That was worse than the ship rides."
Nate grinned sheepishly. "That bad, huh?" A gong going off in the distance piqued his interest, however. "Bollocks! Come ooooon!"
Aerin, per cue, squealed and squeaked and stumbled along again after the energetic Nate, who had bounded into the chocolates shop.
"I thought you wanted to go to the flower shop...?" Aerin inquired, face scrunching up slightly in the process.
"Yea, but free chocolate!" He grinned widely at the girl behind the counter, turning away from Aerin slightly. "Oi! Can I have some chocolate? I saw the sign in the window about it, and it would be the absolute epitome of awesome if you gave me someee~" He winked, (Aerin flushed, regardless of to who that wink was aimed at) and the girl behind the counter stuttered a bit in her answer.
"Uhm...S-sure!" she reaches under the counter and carefully picks out a box. "Here you go! Thank you for visiting the Raime Chocolate Shoppe, where there's a flavour for every kind of love!" she smiled after finishing the shop motto, her wide eyes warm and face soft with kindness.
Nate smiled back, equally as warm and glowing, and waved. For once, he walked towards the flower shop, while prying open the box of chocolate. Aerin blinked, slightly confused, before bowing slightly to the girl and running after him, short legs hurrying even to keep up with his basic stride.
Nathaniel looked down and snuck an arm around Arein's waist, now closed box of chocolate held in his other, and with a mischievous grin and slightly puffy cheeks, swooped down and planted a kiss on Aerin's lips.
Aerin blushed, and began to sneak his arms around Nate's neck, before realizing there was something at his lip's entrance. Confused, he opened his mouth a little more only to have two chocolates popped into his mouth, one pure chocolate and the other with a cherry filling.
Nathaniel moved his arm wrapped around Aerin's waist up to ruffle his short black hair, and with a cheery "Happy Valentine's Day, kid!" continued in his stride to the flower shop.
Ahaha. Thus ends part one. Slightly over a page in word. XD Omg I must get a lera so i can GET ROSES AGN. XD Ferra [Ahh, here I go. sweatdrop I hope I captured him correctly (I also hope I didn't make him too much of an a**. XD)] Obert walked casually up to the booth stacked high with chocolates and lined with flowers. A woman was handing out complimentary boxes and he moved closer to receive one.
"Welcome, would you like one of our free boxes? We're also selling bouquets for only 1 lera a piece!" she said enthusiastically; no doubt she had said this line many times today. "Certainly, I can't pass up an offer like that now can I?" he said with a grin quickly stashing the box of chocolates into his pocket. "But as for the flowers I don't see the point. I'd simply be compelled to hand them right back." The woman, caught off guard, stuck to her mantra and awkwardly replied, "Thank you for your patronage," while blushing profusely.
Obert smiled at her again and went on his way. She was a bit below his standards, but still cute. Truthfully he had already sent out his valentines in advance. The chocolate would most likely end up in Klenon's hands, as it prevented him from raiding Obert's pile of received treats the next day.[Great posts so far btw, I'm impressed! ^^] Yuru ::sits down to start the night:: The afternoon was bright and the weather beautiful, perfect for Valentines day. With a smile on her lips, Melanie walked up to one of the candy shops looking from shelf to shelf. She wanted to get something for Klenon but didn't want to get him something he'd hate. Knowing he liked caramel helped alot but she wasn't getting him caramel apples, that wasn't at all fit for Valentines day. Pushing some of her blonde hair from her face she sighed.
It was probably just her luck that the candy shops were giving away one box of candy to everyone as a Valentines Day treat. The nice lady had said in such a sweet voice that it was for either yourself or the one you loved. With a slight smile, Melanie accepted the small candy and immediately planned on giving the delicate chocolates to Klenon.-Gabriel- Klenon knew it the second he stepped into the row of carts. It was Valentine's Day. There was candy and chocolate everywhere. He was already dissapointed that his brother hadn't left some for him. Wasn't family supposed to lavish things upon younger kids? He chewed on his pencil a bit before tucking it behind his right ear, not on the left where his hair was pulled up.
He had spotted Obert leaving his clinic earlier today and had followed him. A cute kid walking around guarenteed chocolate today. When he saw one of the carts was giving away a sample sweet for free, he veered in that direction.
Then he stopped. Long blonde hair pulled into two thin pigtails. "Oh no." Klenon whipped right back around, attempting to blend into the crowd. She didn't see me... she didn't see me. He repeated to himself in his head. Yuru Fortantly for Melanie, the blonde had been turning around the moment that Klenon's silver haired head had appeared in the crowd. It was hard for her not to know who he was, what other boy with white hair kept it in a pony tail on only one side of their head.
With a brighter smile, Melanie hurried to catch up with the retreating boy, "Klenon!" she called, catching the boys sleeve. "I'm glad I saw you!" She said with another smile. -Gabriel- Klenon inwardly twitched, turning slowly as if a dreaded monster was behind him. Pretty close to one... He thought. "Eh... heh. Hello Melanie." Klenon said, spotting the chocolate right after. "Oh chocolate? Is that from the booth?" Klenon asked, smiling deviously. "I was going to get one..." Tsuki Sohma (( @Ferra - <3 Thankies. @Astra - Who's Aerin? XD;; Excuse me for being stupid. >.> No one can bump into each other yet. DX It's like we're in our own seperate worlds. DX XD )) As we walked to the cafe, he saw many passing people. They were all heading down towards to the flower shop and candy shop. Of course they were, since it was Valentines' Day.
He saw Obert walking down to the flower shop. What would he be doing there? He probably had chocolates and flowers stacked ceiling high by now. He wouldn't be giving any flowers to anyone since he flirted with innumerable amout of girls. All the girls loved and admired him with no doubt. He was very comfortable sweet talking or even just plain talking to them.
Tim thought to himself, "Why? Why can't I be like him? I hate him so much for that. I can never talk so openly to a girl like that." He brooded over this for a moment.
He was at the door of the Cafe. He pushed open the door to hear a,"Ching-Chingp" sound of the bell. There weren't many people in here. There were just a few who had stopped for coffee and read a newspaper. Everyone was out enjoying their day with loved ones. Tim had always brooded over this day. He was always thinking about making his move to talk to Brianne. He could never work himself to go and talk to her. In matter of fact, he always hovered over the times he had missed the chance over the years to talk to her.
"Hello. What can I get you?" the worker at the counter replied delightfully.
"Hmmm..." Tim hummed as he looked up at the menu. "I'll get a medium-sized hot chocolate."
"Ok. Your total will be..." she said. (:0 Just pretend that he has money for hot chocolate. DX)
He handed her the amout and waited for his cup of hot chocolate. While the few minutes of waiting. He thought to himself about what he should do for Brianne. This Valentines' day will be the day that he will do something. He was going to get a boquet of roses back at the flower shop. But then the worker girl came up to him and that pushed him away. Plus, he didn't even know if Brianne liked him or not. He always thought that she wouldn't like him at all. They had never made contact before with each other. Maybe passing by one another but he had never said anything to her. So there was a problem to see if she liked him. He knew where she worked so maybe he could drop off a boquet of roses anonymously. Yes! That would be the perfect thing! But then...how would she know about him?(( I'm a slooow poster. @_@ )) Yuru ::laughs:: I love Melanie she's fun to play. It wasn't hard for Melanie to see the slight irratation on Klenons face and with a frown she sighed before pulling a smile onto her lips again. "Yeah.. um.. Happy Valentines Day," she said smiling before she held out the box to Klenon. "I don't think they're caramel but it's candy," she said pushing some of her bangs from her face as the wind blew the ends of her pigtails around her. -Gabriel- Klenon made a slight face. He'd upset her already. Bad move. He smiled a bit as she held out the candy. Score. "Ah! Thanks!" Klenon said, grinning as he took the candy from her and immidiately munched on a piece. "If you want, you can hang out with me today." He said, smiling.
"I see you still keep your hair in pigtails." The silver haired boy commented, licking his finger clean of chocolate.

Yuru The smile that came to her lips was so happy it made her red eyes almost twinkle for a moment before she nodded, "I'd like that. I don't have anything to do today anyway."
Lifting her hand to one pigtail she laughed, "Yes well it's either continue doing it or having you try to tie my hair up with wire. I think it's just safer with me doing it," she said laughing softly at the memory of how much it annoyed Klenon when she used to sit and her hair would run against things.
"What did you plan on doing today?" -Gabriel- Just the thought of it made Klenon cringe. "I was looking or my brother, actually." Klenon said, pushing up his glasses at the sides. "Not one Valentine's present from him. I'm definitely stealing his candy tomorrow." Ogre Winston glanced at his watch, frowning slightly when he noticed how late in the evening it was getting. If he didn't hurry, he'd miss out in valentine's things completely. He tugged at his scarf, weaving through people on his way towards the carts that held the brightly colored flowers and chocolates. There were people gathered around the carts, so he assumed those would be the best to get. Winston paused infront of one of the vendors, poking around the boxes and bunches of flowers curiously. Akkhima Erin eventually made his way to the plaza, after making a few detours to wish the older ladies in the town-who he sometimes helped with chores-a Happy Valenties Day.
The Plaza really felt wonderful to him. It was full of people walking around, holding hands and exchanging gifts. He decided to go enjoy the sights and smells of the Flower Shoppe, but his path took him past a girl with a lovely smile standing in front of another shop. He didn't notice which shop it was, he just wanted to go talk to the girl... until he noticed what she had pulled out of her basket and offered to him as he strutted towards her: a box of chocolates. "Compliments of the Raime Chocolate Shoppe, where there's a flavour for every kind of love!" she sang with a voice like windchimes.
He wouldn't let such a trifle thing get him down, however. With a twinkle in his eye and a "Thank you very much," he took the small box from her and quickly whisked it away to his back pocket.
"I hope you enjoy them!" She said with a bright smile.
"Oh... heh heh..." He was embarassed to lie to her, but covered his dislike of the product and told her, "Of course I will. If your sweet touch has graced this box, their flavor must have tripled!"
"Aww, that's so adorable!" She giggled and patted his head. "You're so cute!" Ok, so she was a little to much older than him... but she didn't have to be condecending about it, he thought. But, he didn't let his charm slip, and bowed his head to her and took his leave.FllnFalcon *sighs* gonna try and get more in, I think i'm trying to keep Ari a little to aloof, so I'm gonna try and tone it down a little, gotta get comfy with her... Ariette strolled through the streets lost in thought. It had been another lonely valentines day. No one really paid her any mind, and being kind of shy she didn't put herself out there very much either. Eventually making it to the plaza she found a bench tucked away in one corner. She sat down and laid the box of chocolates down beside her. The day was busy, and the hustle and bustle of the day made people watching quite interesting. But that soon got boring and Ari placed her head in her hand, pouting a bit.
"what's so great about valentines day anyways?" She asked as only someone who has never had a partner on said day could.
Sighing she continnued her revery, not paying to much attention to anything anymore.if anyone wants to rp with meh it's fine *nods* Yuru "That sounds like him. You know he's probably spending all his lera on all those ladies he likes," Melaine said, pulling him a bit, out of the way of the vender that was making their way down the street. It was a flower shop. Their were so many roses, but on this cart there were a few lilies and it made the little succubus smile. She'd not gotten any Valentines yet. -Gabriel- Klenon was vaguely listening to Melanie talk, acknowleding that he was actually doing so with a brief nod of his head every so often. It was just then that he noticed a pair of black ears poking up from a boy with a fluffy tail. One moment passed, another, "Aha!" Klenon could vaguely recall seeing him at school and grabbed Melanie's hand to drag her over to say hello.
"Happy Valentine's Day." Klenon muttered a bit. This holiday was only good for the sweets, really. He didn't mind the attention, though. It was a genuine greeting. "I've seen you around school." He held out a hand. "Klenon Neal." Ogre Winston was paying a lot of attention to a daisy, ears sticking up as he leaned forward to give it a sniff. He wasn't used to people coming out and greeting him, or being in a place with lots of people.. so he didn't really hear Klenon until he noticed that there was a person standing beside him just kinda... staring at him for a response. "Er..." He stood back up, shaking his head. "I'm sorry.. I wasn't paying attention at all. ... what did you say?" XD;; Yuru It was amusing to her that Klenon had gotten distracted but whenever she saw who he was dragging her to, she could see why. This boy looked very interesting.
With a slight smile, Melanie shook her head, "Hi. I'm Melanie Quix. He saw you at school," she said holding her hands behind her back, "Happy Valentines day." -Gabriel- Klenon frowned a bit. Blown off in a few seconds, how dissapointing. "Klenon Neal." He said, re-emphasizing that his hand was still out to shake it in greeting. He peered over the rims of his glasses at the other. He seemed quite distracted. Ogre Winston blushed, taking the hand quickly. "I'm sorry, I was trying to pick flowers..." His voice trailed off, releasing Klenon's hand. "It's nice to meet you.. both." He offered a smile, nodding towards Melainie. "Happy Valentine's Day." FllnFalcon ((meh I'm bored!)) Ari had finally noticed a small group of children gathering infront of the flower shop. Ari's ears perked up, a couple of them she recognized from school, it was hard not to notice the silver haired boy with the pony tail on one side of his head. The other she recognized as a monstrae like herself, but the othe rboy she didn't remember seeing. Ari wondered if she should go over and introduce herself, but she didn't want to intrude on anything. She sighed once more, why the hell not? not like anything else was happening, besides, maybe she could actually get to know someone.
Ariette pushed herself up off the bench and scooped up her box of chocolates from beside her. She slowly made her way towards the group of three, watching them closely as she glided through the plaza.do you mind if I sneak in here with you? Yuru "I'd suggest Lilies but that's mainly because I love them," she said with a bright smile. "Who are they for? Maybe we could help?" she asked.
She had a feeling the idea of helping someone pick flowers wasn't going to be the most exciting thing for Klenon. astralines Previously with : Nathaniel looked down and snuck an arm around Arein's waist, now closed box of chocolate held in his other, and with a mischievous grin and slightly puffy cheeks, swooped down and planted a kiss on Aerin's lips.
Now: Nathaniel lightly hummed as strode into the flower shop, immediatly infinitely more relaxed. The scents of frshly cut flowers, the slight smell of earth, the entire atmosphere bringing Nathaniel into almost a lethargic state. Behind him, Aerin was, for once, being distracted from Nate...the flowers in this shop were gorgeous ! So many colours and variations-- he could've sworn that some of them were hybrids of two elegant types, with their shades varying from bright starbursts to gentle pastels.
Fascinating! What really intrigued him though, were the pricey roses, a deeo shade of scarlet and wrapped carefully in seran wrap, and tied together with a pale yellow ribbon. He reached a hand out to touch a petal, transfixed by the sight of such a simple flower looking so...elegant. How could a flower look elegant?
"Roses always manage," Nathaniel murmers into Aerin's ear, reaching over to grab the boquet with a newly gloved hand (oh, the power and trust of pockets, he mused), careful of the thorns that threatened to burst through the thin tissue. With his naked hand, he reached up to affectionately scruffle the boy's hair again, as Aerin looked up at him through messy bangs, nose scrunched up and tiny slim hands reaching up to try and pry Nate's hand off.
"Waiiiiuuu~ Let me goo Naatee..." Aerin fussed more, as Nathaniel laughed like he sunshine in his veins. He made sure to poke Aerin quickly, before placing his hand back on Aerin's head, carefully and subtley leading him around the store (hmm, there are others here!) in a vain attempt to keep the precious boquet safe as well as distract the mouse boy enough to keep him floundering.
Aerin whined as Nate's plan succeeded, his heavy bangs obscuring most of his vision, as he helplessly clung to Nate's forearm and tried not to knock a display over.
Nathaniel approached the flower girl, and carefully laid the boquet down with a lera beside it, grinning at her devilishly. He then turned his full attention on the boy, covering his eyes with his arms, pulling him into his chest.
Aerin felt Nate's laughs rumbling through him like thunder, and almost gave up the will to fight-- that is, until Nate poked his side, and he let out a small high pitched squeak. There were no words exchanged between the two as Nate suddenly stopped and stepped away, something concealed behind his back. He presented the roses to Aerin, and smiled toothily.
"You were fascinated, I love plants, and I've got extra cash. I only require that I get one of those!" he laughed easily, as Aerin looked at the boquet with wonder.
"Thank you!" Aer stepped up to Nathaniel and briefly wrapped his arms around him, a tight hug in order. He was still pink, and had been from lack of air for the past few minutes; but it was different now. Aerin mumbled thanks again, before looking at a clock and hastily retreating, running clumsily away, yelling back a promise to talk to Nate later.
Nathaniel waved, and resumed wandering the flower shoppe.
Sometimes, a little kindness is in order. For everyone. He smiled wistfully at an orchid, carressing it gently with garden worn fingers.

(holy shiiit i am done posting for like forever now. XD) Ferra ((Ack, I'm throwing Obert in the mix so I hope it won't muck things up too much. >_<))
After filling his quota of flirting for the day, mostly with the holiday venders who were predominantly female (presumably to boost sales), Obert decided to head back to his office. Hopefully a mound of treats would be waiting for him. The candy itself wasn't what pleased him so much as the sport of tallying up the sweets; his record was 104.
On his way he noticed a group of children. The young lass with the blonde pigtails caught his eye first; however he quickly identified her companion as none other than Klenon, his little brother. "Excellent," he thought, "I can hand him his valentine now." Obert was very fond of his brother, but on the "day of love" it would be rather inconvenient for Klenon to stop by later.
Apparently he wasn't the only one anxious to speak with the youngsters as he noticed a young, and attractive, fox woman wandering in their direction. He didn't seem to catch her eye. "And a bonus..." Obert mused as he moved closer towards the enlarging group.Ferra ((Ack, I'm throwing Obert in the mix so I hope it won't muck things up too much. >_<))

Apparently he wasn't the only one anxious to speak with the youngsters as he noticed another school aged girl moving to join the group. Although he was fond of foxes, she was a bit below is age limit as he guessed her to be at most 11.EDIT: Whoops, completely forgot Ariette is the one who's 10 and Laurie is the one who's 19. He's not that bad. sweatdrop I changed that last part. Sorry! -Gabriel- That seemed to please Klenon some. He smiled to him. The idea of flower picking was only vaguely interesting to him. Unfortunately, he didn't know the boy's name as he kept extremely quiet. "What is your name?" Klenon asked, crossing his arms in front of him.
Klenon had not yet noticed his brother slinking closer to the group. Ogre Winston turned even more red. He was horrible at this 'chatting' thing, wasn't he?! He must have sounded so rude. He rubbed a hand on the back of his head, lifting the other to shrug. "I was just.. picking some up for myself. I don't have a Valentine." He gave a lopsided smile, glancing back at Klenon. "Oh, my name is Winston. Lilies do sound nice... I just wanted some to smell." ^^;; He glanced to the side, noticing both Ariette and Obert. This must be a popular vendor. He shifted slightly, tail wrapping around so he could grab it and tug at the end nervously. So many people.. suddenly. sweatdrop FllnFalcon Ariette stepped nervously up to the group. She really wasn't that good at this but even so, she really did want some friends that wouldn't stare at her like she was a princess or something. even so she still felt like she was just barging in when she introduced herself.
"Hi you guys, i'm always seeing you around school. My name's Ariette, it's nice to finally meet you." she said smilling. she was too preoccupied with the group infront of her to notice the man approaching. Yuru It was hard not to squeel at how cute Winston was, "Oh if they're for you, then these would be nice.. " she said picking up a pretty bunch of lilies. "They last the longest and smell the best," she said holding the flowers to the cat boy.
Turning her head to the girl that'd just approached, Melanie spared her a smile, "Hello. Nice to meet you," she said not noticing the doctor approaching them.

Ogre [ sorry to cut ahead, but I must log out to sleep TT _ TT ] Winston noticed the huge crowd gathering and panic'd. He snatched the cluster of lilies from Melanie, yelping a thanks before he tossed some coins to the vendor and darted off. "I'm late! I have to go.. t-thank you!" He waved, before turning and darted along the flower carts. He paused at a chocolate shop to grab one before half-running home. [ BOOYA! *grabs chocolate, runs like a winston* night all heart ] Ferra ((It's quite strange since I hadn't gotten one in months until I got a golden enchanted trunk the other day. *Sold it for 25k too*)) Obert kept walking closer and yet still didn't catch their attention. "What's with these kids?" he thought. Pretty soon he was right next to Klenon. He cleared his throat and simultaneously tapped him on the shoulder. When it was clear he had Klenon's attention he reached into his pocket and presented Klenon with his chocolates.
"Happy Valentine's Day, tyke!" Obert announced smiling warmly. "I bet you thought I'd forgotten?" he asked rhetorically.FllnFalcon ((my turn to skitter off, have a good night all ^_^)) Ari smiled back at the girl with blond pigtails when she looked her way. But Ari soon fell into the background a man, who seemed to know the silver haired boy, showed up. Ari shrugged andturned to leave, she guessed she would have to get to know somepeople another day. She sighed as she walked off, chocolates pressed lossly to her stomach as she returned to her dorm for the night. see you all tomorrow ^_^ -Gabriel- Klenon tilted his head back a bit before turning mostly around to look at his brother, blinking. "You didn't forget...." Klenon had been completely prepared to complain to his older brother when he saw him, but all that dwindled away. ".. Thanks." He said, accepting the chocolates. That batch of chocolates was certainly saved for later.
One women passed by and smiled at Obert. The gesture of him giving chocolates to a little boy was very attractive in her eyes.
Klenon noticed, rolling his eyes a bit behind his glasses. "And don't call me tyke." He complained. "It sounds like I am a midget." Ferra ((Aww poo! I had a nice post all worked out but Yuru beat me to it. XP Well I adapted it to work but the original is much better. Ah well, we all have to make sacrifices. ^^)) "Heh, you're my little brother," Obert replied to himself smiling watching Klenon get dragged away by his girl friend, "you'll always be a midget to me."
As much as he enjoyed the touching male-bonding with his brother, he couldn't pass up the fine-physique woman who giggled as she passed by. Obert was disappointed that he assumingly just heard an almost inaudible sigh from Klenon indicating he expected his brother to go skirt-chasing. Although undeniably that was his next course of action, he still felt like pretending to himself he wasn't that shallow.
"Well, I better head back to the office. Plenty of work after all," Obert said aloud to no one in particular. Without further ado Obert made his leave in the general direction of the flirtatious woman - opposite his office. However, he first stopped by a flower cart buying a bouquet on sale for a lera. "Better to be prepared..."Ferra tyrranticus ah, okie then~=3 <---wonders what your edited post was...@_@; Well here's what my last post was supposed to be. I personally think it flows better since when I adapted it, I tried to keep some of the dialogue, but it makes Obert sound weird talking to himself. XD Unusable Original: "Heh, you're my little brother," Obert replied, ignoring Klenon's complaints, "You'll always be a midget to me."

Although Obert guessed he just heard an almost inaudible sigh from Klenon indicating he expected his brother to go skirt-chasing, Obert attempted to feign ignorance.
"Well, I better head back to the office. Plenty of work after all," Obert stated quickly saturated in an oh-would-you-look-at-the-time attitude. "It's been fun, why don't you come by tomorrow? I'm sure I'll have a few extra boxes you can munch on."
Without further ado Obert made his leave in the general direction of the flirtatious woman. However, he first stopped by a flower cart buying a bouquet on sale for a lera. "Better to be prepared..." Item Aquired: ((Pretty sure that was at least 5, but let me know if I miscounted. ^^)) [ The Fool ] -Blinku- Guess Cybille will be roleplaying alone then. o_o
Rubbing her eyes, she quietly watched the children nearby play hide and seek around the bushes of the park. One of them had rabbit ears while the other had a short lizard-like tail with disturbingly bulging eyeballs. It would be offense to stare and so she looked the other way. Since it was Valentine's Day, it would not be surprising to see couples all over the street, either hugging, kissing or conversing using such romantic speeches and words. That made her feel alone, somewhat. I don't really need anyone. Cybille reassured that living by herself was less trouble and she would not need to be washing up after her 'lover' and spouses.. the elf already had enough at work. She at least had five brusies a day to dab alchohol on, bandaid another ten cuts and penetrate one or two with the needles.
That was her life.
"Madam?" Her ears twitched just a little after hearing an hoarse voice speak to her from behind. One of her usual patients? Her neighbour? Cybille was not anti-social or anything but she did not wish to have company just yet.. Not when she had a few things on her mind. Turning around to greet and ask what was needed, her eyes first looked forward before lowering down slightly for she was only able to see gray-ish white hair at first. The person turned out to be the worker at the Candy shop and she appeared to be holding onto something. A box shaped like a heart.. A box of chocolate most definately.
With eyebrows raised an inch higher, she questioned the old woman slouched in front of her. "Bonjour.. May I help you?" was all she could say. Well, it would not be her to say 'How is the weather for you?' or 'How have you been?' Cybille was not as kind to strangers as to her friends since her trust did come a long, long way and she did have experience over the last few years for acting so sweet. The best was not to be rude and everything would go well.
"Aah.. I was watching you for a moment or two.. and I thought you might like this. A pretty woman such as yourself should not be walking by herself on such a special day." Was that a compliment? The nurse was a little unsure but kept that smallest smile upon her lips in order to not intimidate the older lady. I suppose she is trying to be nice. Cybille relaxed her shoulders as she nodded her head in response. "So I would like you to have this. We usually give out Valentine's chocolate for free. Wrinkled hands extended out to present the red heart box.
"Merci vraiment.." Cybille rolled her tongue and took the chocolates while her fingers brushed along the texture. She was not expecting to receive anything today so she did a curtsy and her smile widened another inch. It was nice of them to be giving out gifts for those who idea could not afford it, would not bother to buy one or others just like her. The old woman shuffled her feet and bowed her head a few times slowly then headed back to the candy shop. It was only then did the elf noticed a whole line of people lining up with their bags of leras to purchase goodies. Not everyone is like me.
What was she to do with the chocolate however? Cybille was not the type to snack on sweets as she definately prefered to be strong and healthy. Soft drinks were a 'no no' to her and desserts.. no matter how tempting, she refused to eat any when she would have her dinner at the resturants. Perhaps Obert would like this. I could always sneak it onto his table. She thought about how she would do so as her feet brought her even closer to the clinic. White as it ever could be, there was not a line for once and that made her much more relaxed a few minutes ago. At least she would be getting a break from whinning children.
"Mm? It appears the doctor is not here yet." Stepping into the work area, she looked about for her colleague but saw no one and thus assumed he was off flirting with other women. As usual. Cybille let off a soft giggle and strolled over to his office, placing the wrapped chocolates onto his desk. "Feliz dia de los enamorados.." She spoke quietly and walked to her neatly kept office. A little card sat upon her files, awaiting for the receiver to read the words written within. At once, Cybille opened it up and her eyes immediately widened at the hearts, cupids and angels drawn all over. In the middle was a poem which stated an admirer's love and all sort then ending 'Will you be my Valentine?' I have no time for this. She closed the card and hid it between her papers. -Gabriel- Woo. o.O Klenon is throwing a fit over here. Klenon: She was not my girlfriend! ECH! *makes a face* AND I AM NOT A MIDGET! [ The Fool ] Oh oh. I'm one paragraph away from 15 though? x3; I'll just make a quickie one.
-Adds to the second postie-
Cybille sighed and sat down onto her chair rolling chair slowly. "Lets see.. hopefully as it may seems. There won't be too many patients." She picked up a pen from the mug by the side of her table and started to sign through a few paper work needed. Most of them consisted of regular customers needing a few jabs for the most recent viriuses or just common pills for illnesses. Otherwise it did just be of children scrapping their knees from tripping and falling from a flight of stairs. She smiled at the thought.. not how the younger generation injured themselves but how care free they were. Honestly, it would be different to find someone chuckling at how foolish they were and the pain would not just go away in a matter of minutes, but hours.

Quote: Febuary 14, 2006 It was getting late on Valentines' Day. The sun was about to set while Tim made his way down to Brianne's work place at the bookstore.
----
He took so long on getting this one boquet for Brianne. It all started after he bought a cup of hot chocolate at the cafe near the candy and flower shop. He walked down to the flower shop once again and stood there. He just stood there looking and staring. The employees were starting to worry if there was something wrong. One of the florist girls came up to him.
"Umm... Excuse me sir. Is there a problem or anything?" The florist girl asked.
It took a moment for Tim to register since he was deep in thought. "A-ah! O-oh...U-um...I'm just...heh...thinking of w-what to get i-is all," Tim said nervously. He was caught off gaurd; then again, he's always in deep thought.
The florist girl looked at him strangely for a moment. "Umm...ok...Well...if you need anything, please come up to us and we'll be glad to help," The florist girl said.
Tim nodded slightly. This was just like an hour or so ago with him and the other lady that worked there. It was when he recieved complementary chocolates.
Tim walked around the flower store to see what flowers there were. There were many assorted flowers everywhere in the store. He saw lilacs, orchids, branches of cherry blossoms, daisies, and many more. There were a bunch of carnations and roses of course. They were the ideal flowers for Valentines' Day, especially the red roses that signified love. "Hmmm...I wonder if red roses would be too extravagant. I don't want Brianne to think I'm super madly in LOVE with her." he thought out.
(Devil Conscience: e_e;; Who are you kidding? YOU ARE MADLY IN LOVE WITH HER! Angel Conscience: For once I agree with you. o-o; I wonder if hell is freezing over... -.o; )
Tim shook his head, "Nothing is too extravagant for Brianne. Gah, what am I thinking. I'm being stupid again. This is Valentines' Day. THIS will be my day to show some affection of my love to her." His mind was set on doing this. There was no stepping down from this.
He looked at one of the florist girls to call them over so he could buy this boquet of roses. He didn't know what to say...it was a blank of silence and one of the girls were getting uncomfortable with the staring. ". . . What to say...what to say..." Tim thought to himself. "I have no idea what so say to get her over here. Wait...I'll say, 'Hey miss.'"
"H-hey Miss," Tim said sheepishly.
"My, my. He's really a shy one," the Florist Girl #2 thought to herself. "Yes? How may I help you?"
"I-I would like to buy t-this boquet of r-red roses, please," Tim said.
"This one right here?" The fForist Girl #2 said teasingly and pointed to a specific boquet. She just found his shyness so cute.
"Y-yes." Tim nodded. (At this time he was thinking, "b***h" 8D)
"Alright, sir. Please wait for me at the counter. I'll be there in a second. Oh! And please fill out a card for this boquet too if you want," the Florist Girl #2. She scurried off with the boquet of roses to wrap them up and tie a pretty ribbon to it. She knew that it was someone special by the way Tim was acting.
While the girl did that, Tim was at the couting waiting. He took a card that was on the counter and wrote, "To: Brianne Lakeson." Then he stopped and tapped the pen on the counter. "Should I put it from me? No, no...It would be too embarrassing. I don't even know if she even knows me...I'll just put anonymous." He wrote that down on the card and waited.
The florist girl #2 came to the counter holding the boquet all spiffified. "Here you go, sir. It'll be 1 lera. Today is a special sale." She said to him.
"Ah, alright." Tim said with a slight smile on his face. He took out 1 lera and paid the girl. "O-oh! A-and here's the c-card." He also handed her the card as well.
The florist girl stuck the card in the boquet of roses. "Have a nice day sir. I hope that special someone of yours enjoys~"
Tim was walking out as she said that. He blushed as we walked out from that comment.
----
The sun had set when he arrived to Brianne's workplace, the bookstore. He walked up to it to look through the large glass windows. There were a few people there and there...right there! It was Brianne at her desk. She was silently there listening to music. She wasn't out or anything with a guy. That was a relief to him to see that. He didn't know how to give it to her. It was too overwhelming for him to do that. He stood out there for a moment to think how he was going to do this. "Should I give it to someone to give it to her? No, no...that is just stupid. Hmmm...." Tim started to think deep and hard about this. But he didn't have to because, right there and then, a customer went up to Brianne and asked for her assistance. This was his chance to go in the bookstore and leave the roses there.
He ran into the store, of course he opened the door and ran in. He went up to Brianne's counter. He looked backed and forth to see if anyone was coming before he would set down the boquet of roses. "Close is clear" He said to himself. He sat down the rose but right then a friend, that was a worker, of Brianne's jumped out.
"Heey there." she said in a devious voice.
"ACK!" Tim exclaimed as he stumbled to catch the roses. "U-uh...hey?"
"So? What are you hear for?" she asked.
"N-nothing. Who is this kid?" he said and thought to himself.
"It doesn't look like nothing to me." she said.
"O-ok. Can y-you just please l-leave these to B-brianne?!" Tim asked somewhat loudly. He was bright red too. He gave the girl the roses and rushed out of the door.
This was the end of the day for a sheep in love with a girl who he could never express his love for. Today was his day that he did, but unfortunately he could not leave his name on the card to her? How will this love reach her. Stay tune for next time~ [ The Fool ] (Okies. :33)
This is just a post to end Cybille's Valentine's Day.. The Strawberry Harvest postie will be coming. <<
Biting onto the tip of her pen, Cybille pulled down boxes loaded full with medical forms and other research data, just in case diseases were to break out. What time is it anyway? She asked herself and looked over to look at the hanging clock by the wall. Eight in the evening? It was usual for the elf to be staying back until midnight but she did need to visit the flower shop before the day ended.
She stood up to pack her things and rather quickly walked out of the clinic without turning back to check whether the doctor had left. The streets were still as crowded as before but there were more teenagers than children. No doubt they had ran home to have their mothers' grand meals for the night. Adults too would be sitting comfortably in their chairs to spend Valentine's Day together, since they felt a little too old to be strolling about hand-in-hand.
Dling. Staying silent the whole entire time, she eyed the little water puddle behind them which had fallen from her shoes and reminded herself to clean them up afterwards. The smell of the new batch of flowers overwhelmed her senses, there were still those that bloomed during the other seasons such as the common carnations, daisies and roses. Though further additions of Hyacinths "Anemone 'Sylphide", Vandas , Epidendrums and "Agapanthus umbellatus" emphasize the beauty of the warm seasons.
Leaning over to take in the scent of a rose, the nurse picked up the presence of the owner of the Flower Shop and peered over her shoulders. Much dressed like the one before, she stepped sideways to acknowledge her and bowed in respect. Her eldery face adorned wrinkles at every edge possible and told of many stories which the children of her children would love to hear over a cup of hot chocolate. A delighted, almost long-suffered, look showed her own age of friendliness and care for the younger generation.
"Hello again, Ms. Jardin. Looking to pick flowers for someone?" She asked kindly. The shop was not built for guests and the space around them was most definately limited. However, furniture of the highest quality and paintings done by the mos famous artists brightened the area with an Italian sort of atmosphere. Mixture of oak brown and pure gold marbled in perfect harmony. Extraodinary tastes if you did ask Cybille when she first stepped foot into this Heaven on Earth. "Please, do make yourself at home, I'll be glad to serve a batch of home-made cookies and tea if you are hungry."
"Ah! No thank you.. I'll just take a bouque of purple lilies. Perhaps another time." Cybille smiled a little and searched through her pockets for a purse. The old lady was about to say something to counter her statement but decided not to. She did know the elf's parents and the mother's love for flowers, so perhaps it was best to not keep her in. Nodding very slowly, the owner took the freshest batch of lilies and begun snipping off the stems. She then wrapped them up in silver paper and added a strawberry colored ribbon.
"Here you are, Ms. Jardin. And please it is on the house. After all, your parents did quite a lot for me back then. The owner chuckled while handing the bouquet over to Cybille, almost forcing her to take it without payment. "It would make my day if you thanked them on my behalf."
".. Merci beaucoup." There was no point in arguing honestly. So she kept her purse and took the lilies from the kind old woman. Cybille did a cursty and back out of the shop. One day I shall repay her. She made a note of that mentally and thus resumed her way back to her home. The street lights were dimmed and that meant it was close to nine.. I spent one hour there? Mm..
A few minutes flew by and Cybille found herself standing before the door to her home. Clicking the key back and forth, she opened it and switched on the lights. There, the photograph of her parents awaited and welcomed her back. "I bought these for you, mother.. father. Let me go put them into something suitable" The nurse almost skipped to the nearest cupboard and took down a porcelain vase colored with softest of colors. Pink, cream and purple. She undid the silver wrapping but made a base out of it so it wouldn't go to waste. The ribbon was pasted onto one of the flowers.
"The owner of the flower shop wanted to thank you both for the many things you have helped her with.." She whispered and placed the vase next to the picture, sighing a little. "Well, Happy Valentine's Day and good night. I'll be going to bed once I finish up the laundry and dinner."
