It was 4 A.M. when Lizzie started to wake.
Or rather when Ana woke up and started to cry waking Lizzie up.
Lizzie remained in bed for a bit half-hoping the baby would get back to sleep and grant her some extra hours of sleep.
When Ana made it clear this would not be the case Lizzie sighed getting up. She went over to the crib and picked her sister up glad when the baby quieted instantly.
"Alright, let's go" she said softly going out the room with Ana in her arms and crossing over to the fridge. She took out a bottle and sat on the couch starting to feed Ana.
She began to sing softly under her breath hoping the girl would go back to sleep. Because both her and Edwin went to classes ( on different time slots of course) Ana had to be kept on a schedule, for her sleeping and eating. Same with Lu. So that it was easier for Liz and Ed to look after them.
"When Daytime turns to night.
And the moon shines bright
You're tucked in tight
Everything's alright"She made sure to keep her voice just above a whisper not wanting to wake Ed or Simone or especially Lu. It take the little girl forever to get back to sleep.
"Slip softly to the place where secret thoughts run free
There come face to face with who you want to be so
Swim across the ocean blue. Fly a rocket to the moon
You can change your life or you can change the world" She smiled as Ana's eyes began to droop, as she drank the rest of the bottle. She really was a good baby. She almost slept trough the night now.
"Take a chance, dont be afraid. Life is yours to live
Close your eyes. Beleive and make a wish"Ana's eyes closed as she finished the last of her bottle. Lizzie maneuvers so that that she's holding her and careful not to wake her sister places the bottle on the sink. The clock tells her it is now 4:30.
Lizzie pads back into her room laying Ana back down on her crib. She then proceeded to change out of her pijamas and into some slacks and a hoodie. Taking her i-pod and some random weapons.
She had some time before her early classes. Might as well make the most of it,
She jotted down a note letting her brother know where she'd be, not that he wouldn't know. Then went out, sure to lock the door behind her.
