Name: YōgansukaruAge: Unknown, presumably as old as Mortuus, though older.
Affiliation: Villain
Appearance: In his true, Demon form, Yogansukaru takes the form of a monstrous fire elemental, whose flesh seems to be eternal rotting and burning away, just barely hanging onto his bones which are lit aflame, his size twice as large as the average human. His bones resemble those of a raptors, integrated with human bones and these bones also make up a very crude, light armor, primarily around the chest area. He also as a long, prehensile tail that is heavily barbed and burning like the rest of his body and his shoulder's give off plumes of spiritual fire that resemble wings.
When he is calm, or not in combat, Yogan takes the form of his Human Host, a boy around the same age as Nox, only a few inches taller, with shimmering, blond hair and with a stronger physique. Unlike Mortuus however, Yogan is not as forgiving and usurped full control over his host, dominating their mind, will and spirit, essentially taking over the boy completely, integrating all of their memories into his own.
Personality: Yogansukuro is very much the way he appears. He is hot blooded, very temperamental and has a desire to see everything bathed in flames. He will destroy everything in his way for almost no reason at all except to see if its flammable or not and he cares not for affections, family or any ties of the heart. He can be explosive when angered and can become a perpetual nuke if he's being tested on his patience. About the only thing that really gets him truly nuclear, is his brother Mortuus, who knows how to push Yogan's buttons. Mortuus is very much the younger brother to Yogan, but it flames him to no end when Mortuus is able to put him down or put him to shame and he will make it his life goal to drag Mortuus through the mud, however he can and as often as he can.
Powers:
Human FormEnhanced Bodily Functions: Very much like how Nox's human capabilities are boosted by Mortuus, Yogan's host body is as very much as fast and athletic as Nox has become.
Monstrous Strength: Because Yogan completely took over his host's body, Yogan does not have to worry about damaging it, allowing him to force maximum proficiency out the body's muscular system and his body is able to perform any number of feats of strength that Nox could do while in Demon form. Yogan seems to have the same capacity of strength while in his true form, but it appears that he is slightly more capable then Mortuus with his physical strength.
Burning Touch: Because of the power's Yogan as, his elemental properties were shifted to his Human form, allowing his human body to accelerate its bodily temperatures to an output equal to 4273 K, or 4000 Celcius, allowing Yogan to become super heated and will glow with the fire, incinerating and melting whatever it touches, but this power seems only limited to his hands.
Moderate Fire Manipulation: As a Fire Elemental, Yogan's power revolves centrally around fire and his capabilities with it, however, while in human form, this power is limited. In human form, he is not able to create fire, only manipulate existing sources of it and only grow that fire to 100% of what it was. He cannot make it expand to greater sizes and he cannot fuel its power.
Demon Form
Unearthly Bones: Yogan bones are constructed by highly concentrated amounts of spiritual matter. Like all spiritual beings, from his realm, his body is made up of spirit particles that give him form and allow him to manifest in the physical world. When he turned his back on the Shikigami, they cursed him with, "The Flames of Arrogance" causing these spirit particles to erupt and eternally burn. A by product of this has caused much of the spiritual energy to merge and form a bone structure that is surprisingly resilient to most spiritual weaponry, making his bones nearly impossible to break by any type of earthly material. His bones have been compared to having properties of Vibranium, though scientific samples have not been able to be procured and studied...for obvious reasons.
Complete Fire Manipulation When in his true form, Yogan becomes an inferno and reclaims the ability to create and manipulate fire, but he can also expand it to enormous size and his body acts as the fuel source, giving him virtually unlimited amounts of energy to work with. However, using too much can strain him and he has recharge periods that he needs to undergo, but because of his body being of elemental fire, he has nearly an infinite supply. This fire can allow him to lift himself into the air and move much faster then Mortuus is able to, moving at speeds rivaling speeds maintained by those of the old P-51 Mustang Fighter Jets.
Demon Stamina Like Mortuus with his demon skin, Yogan is not affected by physical tiredness or physical pain. The strain affects his mental status and if he were to fall unconscious, he would become inert. The only problem with this is that his life is dependent completely upon fire. If he is not reignited when he becomes inert, he will remain in that state until otherwise, which led to his reawakening. Now with a Host state however, Yogan is capable of fleeing back into his mortal form, but he has to gauge when to do this, for if he passes out before moving back into his human body, he will go into the same state as before.
Weakness:
Water/Ice Vulnerability: Because he is a Fire Elemental, Yogan's greatest problem with his existence is water. Water and Ice will not immediately extinguish him, but it will cause him extreme agony and the source needs to be continuous to do any true damage to him.
Light Vulnerability: As an Oni, Yogan is also susceptible to Light magics and energies. Though it is not as heavily damaging as his vulnerabilities to water, it is the second best tool against him.
Origin: Yogansukaru was born around the same time as Mortuus. Though around typically the same age, Mortuus has always treated Yogan as his older brother, as Yogan treated Mortuus like a younger brother, and so they had a very close relationship while they were Shikigami. They served together in several wars against Oni forces and watched over the Human World...but Yogan was growing complacent and he hated feeling like he had no use...
Yogan tried to express this belief to his brother Mortuus, but Mortuus was still with feelings of being in a right mind and felt that Yogan was going down a bad path. Yogan passed off his brother's observations and returned to his normal duties, that, however, did not last. Slowly Yogan became wrathful of what the Shikigami were doing, let them being walked on by the Humans, kowtowing to their designs, he felt that the Humans needed to feel a more direct control and oppress them as they used to be...
Tsukuyomi had caught wind of Yogan's persistent outbursts at his superiors, and eventually stepped from his station to confront Yogan to put some sense into him, but Mortuus' brother was not coerced, who proceeded to insult and demean Tsukuyomi, insinuating that he was part of an old and dieing way. This did not fall with with Tsukuyomi, and so he expelled Yogan from their world, onto earth, the descent to the world causing Yogan's body to burn, as Tsukuyomi called upon an ancient curse to have Yogan feel the pains of his sins for all eternity in a fiery state of his own design...
Mortuus could not bear watching Yogan in his pain, crawling through the earth to find refuge and turned away, but this planted the seeds within Mortuus' own mind, who slowly came to realize that his brother had been right.
The day eventually came when Mortuus too fell from the Heavens, but sought out Tsukuyomi's protection. Tsukuyomi allowed this for a time, giving him a fraction of Dark energy so that he may continue his work. The first thing Mortuus wished to do was end his brother's suffering, and so he sought his brother out in his home, residing in a violent volcano in modern day Hawaii. The brother's exchanged words, but Mortuus slowly realized that he could no longer reason with his demonic, wrathful possessed brother, and so they battled until Mortuus caught the upper hand and pushed him into the sea.
There he held his brother for a long hour until Yogan became dormant, his bones solidifying and becoming like volcanic glass, and there Mortuus left him, living his life until he too eventually grew violent and wrathful of mankind, as all Shikigami did who fell from the sanctum of their world, becoming mad and history took his course...
In present day, the complete bone structure of a strange human, resembling a raptor, was found by tourists who were near the bay area of the San Fransisco bay area, finding the structure while they scuba-dived a fair distance below. Interested by the find, the structure was taken back for study, and those scientists eventually were led to believe that it was not a human structure at all, but was instead a magnificent sculpture of unearthly quality made of the volcanic glass. To this day, the statue resides for public entertainment in Tangent Tropolis' museum, one of the many things for display in the halls of the grand place...unaware of what it truly was...
