I actually find college to be so much easier than high school ever was. My style of essay writing hasn't changed, but something I would've got 60% on in high school I managed to get 94% on in college. Most of the tests are either multiple choice or short answer, so there's not a lot of detail I've had to study - just basic points, whereas in high school many of the tests were long answer with accompanying essay questions. The only thing that's hard, I find, is the expenses - I have a student loan, yet last year, I still required a $2,500 bursary from the college itself just to cover my expenses. Besides that, though, it's certainly been easier for me - I'm in my final semester of classes right now, then I start my semester of placement in January, and then graduate in May.

I think College is easier than High School, since there isn't busy work for you to do, and most of your classes relate to your degree (so more your choice).
But of course, as you get closer to completing your degree, it does get harder, since you are diving more into theories and the abstract.
But then again, it really depends on your major and level of degree.

I found it hard going from High School straight into a University. I learned the hard way that going to a trade school with the goal of wanting a BS isn't a great idea (credits don't transfer over). So I had to start over when I moved to another state and like the Community College feel before moving into a University smile
