I'm taking my LPN right now. It's so stressful, but I'm somehow managing to have the highest scores over anybody else in my class. I plan on getting my RN after working for a little while (like a year).

AlaskanBookwyrm I'm trying for nursing school, but I'm still on the waiting list for entrance. sweatdrop That's why I'm going to a private school and getting my LPN. When I get my RN though, I'm just going to go to a public school (community college) for a bridge program (LPN-RN). I still have to finish quite a few classes to get the ASDN degree (associates degree of Nursing), which you don't have to get (you can just do what's called the 30 unit option and bridge over to RN, but you don't get a degree), but I want it. I don't care about getting a bachelor's degree in nursing, because there really isn't a difference between a person with an associates degree in nursing or a BSN, despite what people say.

I just graduated with Bachelors of Science in Nursing last June 2011 I haven't heard about Associate Degree before... I am not sure if we have it here in Canada I also took the board exam before our graduation and passed it. So I am RN already.

We don't have it in Canada - they offer it in community colleges in the US, since they can get degrees in theirs whereas our colleges mostly offer certificates and diplomas.
Two of my roommates were in the practical nursing program at my college last year. It looked like a time consuming program!

I'm a nursing student myself, It's stressful. I've found that if I dedicate 1-2 hours a day studying I recall the information needed. I'm currently passing all my classes with an A average.

Congrats on that. Nursing sounds tough. I could never do it.
My school is really big on nursing though and all three of my roommates this upcoming semester will be Nursing majors.

I finally got into a nursing program after trying to 2 years. Once I got in, I learned why it was so hard to get in; moat of my classmates got in with a GPA of 3.6, 3.8, 4.0 e_e
Welp, at least I'm finally in! XD Congrats and good luck to everyone else.
