How to test a specimen
1) You need to roleplay finding the object.
2) When you want to test, bring it to the lab, write a post explaining you want to test out an item.
3) Post Action>>Roll Dice>> Roll a Dice 4 Sides 1 Dice
1- 100 %
2- 50 %
3- 20 %
4- Test Failed
note: when actually testing an object via roleplay, the percent that has the most rolls on a certain item is the legit answer to the tests being done. But that is Only In legit testing scenarios. This is used for a example, and a practice of how the lab works.

Aku nearly passed by the test lab, but then turned around and took a closer look. "Oooh, makes me want to test something!" She looked around, but couldn't find anything worth testing, then searched through her belongings. "I do have... my pillow and err... nothing else. Oh well."
She put her pillow onto some spot that seemed like something should be put there and followed the instructions. "Now tell me if my pillow is magical!"

"Ooooh!" Aku wasn't sure what should happen in this test, but a slight glow was definitely something. She grabbed her pillow, hugged it and left the lab, humming "Magical pillow, yahoo, magical pillow..."
(( So this is why Aku can summon pillows, eh? xD ))

Aku approached the bowl with caution and put the Mace Head she had found in the ruins into it. The professor was looking over her shoulder. She checked the potions nervously and added some smoking one and, on professor Roses advice, some other things, too.
The mixture took some unusual color.
"So... here I go", she said unconfidently.

What I am looking for: DNA... something.))
"Oooh, so after all it has some DNA... thing... hell, what was I supposed to test again?"

Pipi wanders up with her troll boogers and shoves them under a bright beam of light.
They begin to sizzle.
"Testing the boogers for explosive properties!!" Pipi Calls out, and ducks under the desk as she whacks the full power button, and solar rays blasts the bowl of boogers.
There is no reaction at first, and Pipis head sneaks back up over the table.
"...Nothing Happe-"
BLAM!
...
Pipi wiped the boogers off her face and flicked them back into the bowl.
"Well. Not as explosive as I thought. Delayed reaction. Huh."

Tsuki held the vial of troll boogers and walked over to the bowl. She emptied them into the bowl, yawning.
((What I'm testing: Troll Boogers.
What I'm looking for: Sedative proporties.))
"Testing troll boogers for sedative properties." Tsuki said, her voice bored. She had a black and red butterfly on her hand and put it near the bowl, waiting for a reaction. She frowned, bored and saw the butterfly touch the boogers, and it tried to fly away but it's wings didn't work for a few moments. Tsuki gently grabbed the butterfly and put it on her hand, letting it rest until it's wings worked again. She smiled gently as the butterfly flew away. "That wasn't too interesting..." She muttered.

He puts the hide in a beaker. "I want to see if this can be used in freezing temperatures for warmth!

Lily snatched the scale up hurriedly, shoving it into her pocket so no one could see the creepy glow.
