"Spiritual" is one of those words that's just so hard to define.
What makes you feel spiritual?
Show us an image, tell us a quote, describe a book or a setting, recount a situation.

For me it's a lot of sensation- I'll do something religious or witchy, and I'll get a sensation that isn't physical- but has a feeling of weight or lightness, or color or temperature or something that seems to slide into place like a puzzle piece. Sometimes things will even smell a little different- like during the Fet Ghede, it smells a little like the forest after it rains. sweatdrop

For me it's sort of the same - it's just a feeling that I get. There's not any specific thing, or action, etc... but it's just a combination of things that makes a moment perfect. It can be something as simple as the wind through the trees, or complex as a full on ritual.
Yesterday I was getting out of my car, and the rain was just starting to fall, making a soft little whispering noise - so light you could barely hear it, and it was just...profound.

For me spirituality is a path that leads to the innermost self. It is action and experience that allow us to access life's core values and meaning - the things that make us appreciate life and inspire us to keep living in a particular way.
The things that make me feel spiritual are mainly experiences of the natural world just doing its' thing. Any time I get to watch or interact with that is good. Agricultural activities make me feel spiritual. Feeding people I love is a spiritual act. (I should have been a hobbit.) Creating things is spiritual for me. I guess really just working with my own hands is that as well.
I'm trying to think of things that inspire spirituality in me. Candle-glow. Communal fire. Canoeing in silence. Sunlight through leaves. Wind and clouds. Snow... the list is huge. They're simple things, mostly. I stand in constant awe of the planet I live on and the forces it commands.
Like Riri, I find certain experiences occur as significant, and indicate that significance with a particular sign. I tend to think of these signs as cues that I have just experienced a Mystery. They are often a sense of completion - as if I have filled an empty space with sudden understanding, and what was rough or incomplete suddenly becomes smooth, and flowing. Sometimes I will hear a particular chiming sound, as well. I don't know if this is an internal cue that I have managed to 'program' myself with or an external cue from the Source.

For me, it's a sort of "energized" feeling. Like sometimes, I'll be lying in bed, listening to relaxing music (Enya or Lisa Thiel), and this strange sensation starts.
The first time it happened, I feaked out because I had no idea what was happening. But as I thought about it later, and decided to try and make it happen again. It felt like there was something there with me, a comforting presence. I think I felt it so strongly because I was in a very relaxed state. It was about then that paganism really became my path, and not just something that looked interesting and that I wanted to try out.
