Pete Hines answered more questions on twitter. Not too much. Some were very obvious and people shouldn't have asked... Like save checkpoints? Really? No! Everyone knows you can save anywhere as long as you aren't in combat... Duh.Anyways, the main things were: children can't be hurt or killed, finishing moves are random, no hardcore mode, button mapping, and you can set the difficulty.

Children in Fallout 3 and New Vegas where killable, due to how the Gamebyro engine works however I'm stoping this subject it at that. I never downloaded the mod for it because it's stupid and wrong.
Hardcore Mode, I was on the fence about it. For the most part it seemed largely more an annoyance then a challenge and I felt no real satisfaction completing New Vegas.
Also from Pete Hines:
Blocking with two handed weapons ( Claymore, Warhammer ) are possible however with dual-wielding you cannot block.
You can set a sword and shield to which ever hand you like, sinisters ( left handed folk ) unite!
The character unlike in the demo movie does not yell Dovahkiin after killing every dragon, this was added to the new 20 minute trailer to add hype in a nut shell.
Your not the only one learning Dragon Shouts.

I don't get what gaming companies have against killing children. You can always kill practically every other living creature, so why not them as well?

Now as I figure it, if someone is too stupid to see that big M on the side of the box and read that the game has gore, sexual themes and extreme violence they are at fault if their kid does something stupid after playing the game but oh no we CANT even DARE blame bad parents for the actions of youth now can we? confused

Would you want to be further demonized by the mob 5 o'clock news than you already are? How about how it's morally wrong? I would never kill a child, not even a virtual one. Bethesda's not the only one to do this. You can't kill children on Fable either. But yes, the News is way over the top on this. I've seen the most irritating arguements based on nothing. "Objectifying women" was something they said about the Mass Effect game series, while they probably didn't even bother to take note on how you can play a woman and that there are female gamers. What's next? "Objectifying aliens" since you can ******** Liara in ME1 and Garrus in ME2? The News just wants to get rid of gaming, even though none of them even game (most likely). Excuse my rage rant.

@ Asyilem
Killing Children in real life or in virtual reality is just stupid through and through. If anything Bethesda has provided a decent example that children can be in violent video games and for the most part unharmed. It's sick to think people modded that stuff in, it's sick to think Bethesda made it too simple for them to do it too. Hopefully Bethesda doesn't do things the way they did with Fallout 3.
@ Evataph
I could too, heaven forbid we blame parents out of the odd chance they are either illiterate or too stupid to realize the gravity of they're involvement. America shelters the truth that parents are very much at fault for how society will fall apart if the youngins' keep getting they're hands on games not ment for them in the first place. The problem is parents don't want to do what they should be doing; parenting, so they buy a video game to babysit the kid and go bonkers and call the local fox news channel up when they realize how violent the game THEY WITHOUT A CARE IN THE WORLD BOUGHT for them! I'm ending this here, otherwise we'll have eighty sum odd paragraphs of me rambling on.
