Bio: At age 5, Axel, son of a big time yakuza leader, was sent to live with his grandparents to learn the way of the sword. His grandparents ran a kendo doujo in Ecruteak City aswell as a Pokemon Training Dojo. At first, Axel was defiant, rude, and distant torward pokemon and even his grandparents but soon grew to care about them. His grandparents taught him everything from manners to kendo, including pokemon. At the age of 15, Axel's father grew sick and he needed to prepare Axel to be the next boss. By this time, Axel didn't want anything to do with the Yakuza. In an attempt to help their grandson, his grandparents enrolled him in Arceus Academy. They gave him a pokemon for company and safety before sending him on his way.

Personality: Axel kindhearted and gentle person. He like to take his time and values patience. Blowing up or getting angry at things that can easily be fixed is trivial and pointless to him. His grandparents have taught him his polite mannerism and gentleman behaviour.
