Welcome
Note: Please make sure you read all information listed on this page. Lack of required information sent when submitting a character will result in either complete rejection or forced weakening of said character
As most positions of power have been created and filled already, it's time to start building the Gotei up from the ground again. The source of our rebuild will be within the Shinigami Academy, as new students continue to flock out, some with the true form of their zanpakuto, some with various lower forms of the sword, some kido specialists, and more trained in the various arts of the Shinigami. The following listing will be of students who have graduated the Shinigami Academy, their biographical data, and what knowledge of their zanpakuto is common to members of Soul Society. As a role play aspect this is the listing of new recruits able to be obtained by Division Captains, and thus prevents cluttered piles of letters and messages lain upon your desks. Note, that this specific thread is not meant for biographies to be posted in. Please post them outside of this thread and wait for the Division One Captains approval.
Laws of the Graduate
The Laws of the Graduate are a simple listing of rules, placed and set to keep new people within the guild from becoming overpowered players from the start, as to keep a balance within the guild, instead of having everyone running around, wielding zanpakuto the size of skyscrapers, and cutting everyone else to pieces. These laws consist of Kido restrictions, Shi-Kai and Ban-Kai limitations, and power limits.
Kido:
A student graduating from the Academy can only have kido up to the Fifteenth (15th) casting level. Exceptions may sway if you surrender knowledge in one school of training for another.
(Ex. Urahara Yamita, Bakudou focused path. This player would give up Hadou above the fifth level, and be able to cast up to level 25 Bakudou.)
Shi-Kai:
One in Twenty. Basically, for every twenty registrants who apply with a known Shi-Kai, one will be accepted. However it is preferred that candidates fresh from the Academy only have base knowledge of their Zanpakuto's Sealed Form, and take Shi-Kai training alongside a designated Captain/Officer of First, Ninth, or Thirteenth Divisions, with the proper permissions to train Shi-Kai.
This limitation is to keep the role play varied, to prevent people from constant abuse or character registrations with Shi-Kai. The point is to learn and grow through role play. The only exception to this rule are the first people to apply for Captain or VC seats. For more information or clarification, please PM me.
Ban-Kai:
No more registrations with Ban-Kai, past those with special permissions or authorizations to joining a Captain or Lieutenant rank Shinigami. Ban-Kai is something that takes character and training, and as to keep true to the feeling of Bleach, not every character will be permitted to reach Ban-Kai training.
Ban-Kai training can only begin after Four Months active role play within the guild, then takes at least another month to complete, with one to two more weeks to reach mastery. This is to prevent people who just want a quick captain position, then plan to leave us behind, waiting on their actions, as well as to prevent the flow of power from changing to unevenly in further storyline plots.
There will be a One-in-Fifty difference rate in this. Occasionally, accepted and trusted members of the guild may gain their Ban-Kai in under the allotted probation time, or gain their Ban-Kai and Mastery in under a month, using particular methods of power.
Power Limitations:
New characters will be able to choose powers/abilities from a list of techniques from the Bleach Series, and as time grows on advance these skills. But in the beginning a character will not be able to use constant Shunpo, especially in combat situations, nor will they have advanced powers, which require additional training through appointed trainers.
Visored:
No student passing through the Academy will have Visored powers, those already passed through the system are the only exceptions. To become a Visored will be either a Ryoka path skill, or limited to Shinigami with a strong will and Above Average powers.
Arrancar:
Arrancar are not members of the Soul Society, and therefore are not accepted into the academy or Gotei 13, period. This would be viewed as a disgrace and a downtrodden on the name and pride of the Shinigami. Be this as it may, we still accept Arrancar based characters.
Biographical Data:
The following information will be required for new members of the guild, both to assign them to a squad, and to be kept in the Captain's Chambers for character development and filing purposes. This form must be filled out for further acceptance into the guild. Thank you for your time and effort. And welcome to the Gotei Thirteen.
