ShirouEn and I entered into DHS's family booth from the grand opening event and walked out with a family of 6. With two remaining pups to give away we decided the best way to do it is an rp contest.
This contest will end 24 hours after we reach the fourth entry for each pup!
(From top to bottom, left to right)

Brother 1 - Doberman - Borealis - Sled Dog - SangoTaijiya08 | Brother 2 - Doberman - ??? - ??? - ShirouEn
There will be 2 categories, one for newbies and one for everyone else. A newbie is anyone with 2 OR LESS Woof! dogs.
The newbie winner will be picked FIRST and the remaining winner will be picked from the rest of the people who entered for the remaining pup (including newbies).
With that being said this contest is entirely open, there are no set prompts, all we ask is that you write at LEAST a paragraph and that you play the pup as you plan on playing them in actual shop rps.
You MAY use the rest of the family in your entry in any way you please but just be aware that what you do in your entry will not take place in the reality of the shop unless we decide to do an actual rp later on.
Follow the Gaia TOS and the shop rules and beyond that, just have FUN!

Let the story begin... Growing up in a family of six was difficult for the white pup. "Mama... why's our fur so long and Dadda's isn't?" she asked. "And why don't I have Dadda's spots ad green?" Clearly she was jealous of her father's pelt. Without listening for her mother's reply, the pup went off to gnaw on a chew toy. Squeek. "Hahah! You sound funny!" she yipped cheerfully, clearly forgetting her previous conversation.

Let the story begin... Borealis was the quiet one of the pups, Not really one to play with his siblings to much, as we was the runt and normally got bowled over during play. He tended to stay beside his dad mostly. Borealis was not a fan of the warm weather, but his coat was not meant for a cold climate, though that didn't stop his dreams at all about one day becoming a sled dog! Running through the snow, with a pack of dogs behind him while he pulled his human on a sled during the big race. Not long after he turned 6 weeks, he watched the Iditarod on the picture box with his dad, and ever since then he wanted to go to the land of snow. He would be the lead dog of his own team and despite what was working against him, he would be one...but would a human find him and take him to the arctic lands up north?

I just wanted to point out that while I appreciate the interest both of your entries are too short.
"at least a paragraph" meaning... at LEAST 5-7 sentences but I'd prefer more so I can get a better idea of your plans smile
You ARE allowed to edit your entries until the deadline and I may extend it if we don't find a suitable entry for each pup by the deadline.

Let the story begin...
Puff, puff, puff....
Svetlana's breath came out in short little bursts of fog. Winter was beginning to take hold in Summerville and the first snow had fallen, blanketing the ground in a soft, luminescent white. With the snow came the first rounds of real training.
Like her, the puppies surrounding Svetlana were outfitted in harnesses and booties, and most were milling around their leaders or sleds. Quite unlike her, however, most were huskies or malamutes, built for survival on the harsh, snowy terrains that sled dogs endured. They had the thick, tough coats and the perfect musculature. Most, if not all, of the puppies surrounding her had been bred for this, while she had simply been roped into a hobby.
If she tried hard she could pretend she was part husky - her fur had yet to thicken to the full feathering of what it would be in her adult years - but there was no point in lying. She hadn't been bred from champion huskies and malamutes. She hadn't even been bred from champions. She was just the offspring of a doberman and collie, chosen by a young boy and roped into his father's team.
She settled into the snow near the head of the sled, watching as her boy's sire adjusted this and that. This sled was lightweight and carried nothing, unlike the real one she'd one day be using. She'd be presented with the challenge of working with a whole team of dogs to barrel through ice and snow to get a much heavier sled to victory...
And she would do it. There was nothing that would be more satisfying than to train the hardest, work the fastest, and win the trophy right from under the collective noses of all those who dared doubt she could be a sled dog. They could poke fun and stare all they wanted, but come time for the real race, they'd see who was built the best.

I'm going to extend the contest until we have a MINIMUM of 4 entries for each pup... that gives us more to choose from... so tell your friends to come try for a free puppy!

Let the story begin...
Gentle eyes opened for the first time as she looked up at the sky, her tiny orbs entranced with the glow of the night. Be it a window or outside, the young Celena had no clue just what she was looking through or what she was looking at. All she knew was the glow of the stars stood out against the inky darkness, and each one seemed to wink and twinkled down with playful fervor.
Wiggling her dark paws back and forth and sniffing with her nose, she flicked her ears as the sky became clearer, the blur of her newly awakened sense fading. Eyes adapted to catch sight of some of the farther, lighter stars. Her nose continued to try and sniff out their scent, but she didn't quite know where that came from. Instead, she simply listened to the breathing of her slumbering siblings as she continued to look up. Some stars began to move, the lights darting across the sky and separating from the beautiful design. Later, Celena would discover the meaning of airplanes and satellites, but for now they were lights dancing and creating a beautiful painting.
Suddenly, a yawn broke off across her maw as little teeth sparkled in the glow, and she moved and rolled to her side. She wiggled across to where her siblings slumbered, finding her speckled brother to lean against once more. As she found his neck and settled her head on it, she moved to her back once more to look back to the sky. It was at that moment her eyes caught the bright glow of the moon, a round star much bigger than the others. She licked her lips and let out a squeak of a yawn as she continued to stare, not noticing her siblings whimper and shuffle before rolling over again. Paws swinging, her eyes began to droop and her mind call for slumber as she starred at the round orb. It reflected in her clear eyes as she blinked once...twice...thrice before falling back to sleep again.
In her mind, the last image she remembered was that bright orb against the inky darkness.

Shirou and I have officially decided that the winners of the rp contest are as follows:
Final_Crucible is the new owner of the lovely white female collie while Sangotaijiya08 is the new owner of our adorable off-white doberman male!
Congratulations you two please PM cert info to me so I can post the entire family together in one post for DHS.
