Proof. You can also take your spouse out on quests and have them carry items or fight with you. When you marry (if you have a home) your spouse will move in with you. To show that you are available for marriage, you wear a certain necklace around your neck (I know, pretty stupid). I'm happy to see that marriage is in the game, as it can be considered a new sense of freedom in gaming these days. I'm okay with this, so long as it doesn't turn too much in Fable 3's direction. I am not setting up an allowance for some spouse who does nothing.

My spouse dying on a quest. Oh, yeah, and they can serve meals daily. Forgot to add that bit.

I hope you can kill the children. I mean, you don't want the poor kid growing up just to learn it was an accident.
I would be a horrible mother, baha. Anyway, I don't think I'll have children or get married. I like to feel like that 'lone wanderer/nomad', and on many accounts, 'that b***h that killed the whole town of Anvil'.
I hate Anvil.
To most towns and cities, I'll be known as 'that chick [that actually looks like a human, now] that saved our butts from the big-bad-dragon.
In all of the other towns and cities, I destroyed them. Major loot. No questions.

Marriage should be good enough for now.

Fable 3 crushed my gamer dreams for a while, and then Dragon Age II crushed them a little more (even more since it was released on my birth day, those jerks).

My best friend's obsessed with Fable 3, and I think it's so ridiculous that when you die, not only do you come back to life, but you magically send out a high powered spell. Haven't played Dragon Age, mainly because I live in Australia, and we pay huge amounts of money for games. Seriously, we pay $110+ for new releases.

May I reccomend the US as a new home location? Gaming companies suck up to us with their prices practically. But seriously, that really sucks. I pay for my own games and I wouldn't survive those prices. :/

For the sake of roleplaying in the game I may take a wife, however I will try and see to it I pick the one with the right gameplay benefits. If I suck at the lockpicking mini-game like I did in Oblivion then perhaps a Khajiit wife with background of "borrowing without intention of returning things" would be an invaluable companion. Or in the event I feel like clearing out as many dungeons as fast as possible a Nordic or Redguard wife would aid me well. But all in all if it gives me more reason to return to whatever city or settlement I have decided to reside in I view the idea of having my character marry as a relatively immersive feature that I would not pass up the opportunity on.
