Perseus arrived at the mating grounds through his sprints. His daggers impaled a near by tree. He turned and back flipped. Before his feet he the ground he shifted. His gray fur seemed bluish in the moon light. His topaz eyes focused and his ears were alert. His breathing was even knowing that Alameth would arrive soon, but he let out a loud howl calling his Alphas to witness. He already told his Empress about his need to challenge Alameth. The pack would follow behind their new Empress. His howl faded and his attention was at his highest. His muscles tensed and his eyes ignited with the excitement of the moment.

Alameth came upon the mating grounds just as Perseus gave his howl, removing his cloak he sank to the forest floor on all fours having embraced his passion. Silver eyes stare out across the field at Perseus, the very ground under his paws begins to reverberate with each paw step as he makes his way into the open and awaits his packs leaders so their challenge may begin.

Alameth looked from left to right.
"They will get here in their own good time" He thought. Lowering his muzzle tail raised high , Alameth suddenly sprinted forward across the ground charging Perseus and braced himself for his counter attack as he thrust his broad shoulder into Perseus raising his paw to score his side, teeth bared preparing to deliver a bite to the side of his neck.

Prufalas raised her muzzle to the sky and gave a melodious sweet cry announcing the mating challenge and stood high on the hill that would over see it all. The wind whipped through her fur as the air grew thick with burnt ozone and the pack was swept into her change, as they gathered around the sacred grounds for the challege they had long awaited to see. Her head was held high and her eyes glittered dangerously from phermones in the air and she stood surrounded by her liasons in anticipation.

Perseus growled and braced himself as Alameth slammed his shoulder against him feeling his claw slice into his side. Perseus quickly raised his paw and slammed downward at Alameth's shoulder. His claw ready to sink into skin cutting off his attempt at his bite and at the same time creating an opening for himself. Perseus bared his teeth ready to lock his jaw onto Alemeth's other shoulder. The Gemini twins awoke for the first time in so long pounding to be let out. The pheromones quick to excite them.

Alameth felt Perseus claws graze his own flesh, with swift movements he lowered and danced away on his paws, passion coursing through him he saw no one but his challenger. Again he charged but dodged at the last possible moment to jump up and aiming to come crashing down onto Perseus back.

His eyes were focused on Alameth and at the last moment when he was about to lunge his eyes widened in a sudden surprise. His body reacted without thinking as his left legs gave out to follow through with a roll. Alameth landing on the floor. Perseus lunged claws coming down at his shoulder as to be able to pin him long enough to snap his razor sharp fangs at his lovers neck.

Alameth didn't flinch when he felt teeth sink into his flesh using his hind legs he scored Perseus under belly mercilessly in his effort to throw him off, once he was free he stood shaking the droplets of his own blood from his fur and charged yet again not letting up his attack or giving ground, driving up onto his hind legs aiming a blow to the head with his front paws.

Perseus quickly regained focus and latched onto the oncoming paw with his teeth. He got up on his hind legs letting the blood from his stomach drip downward and his paw aimed to slam hard against Alameth's rib cage. A headache began to form but he kept his focus. Apollo and Erebos both wanting to take part in this glorious event but still being locked away until Perseus felt the need to summon them.

Alameth cursed himself for allowing Perseus to have an opening but he had one of his own lunging down he sank his teeth into Perseus scruff and shook his muzzle from side to side growling and snarling viciously tightening his jaw muscles even more from the pain he was feeling in his paw.

Perseus snarled, dropping low and his shoulder reacted without his command, slamming abruptly into belly of his lover at an attempt to catch him off guard and shake him off.

The blow caused Alameth to release his hold, he staggered to the side quickly favoring his right paw not daring to bare weight on it, he knew the extent of the damage to it. His tail and head raised high Alameth dodged and jumped landing behind Perseus lunging swiftly to sink his teeth into Perseus upper back leg.

Perseus pushed his weight on his front paws growling viciously and kicked out his back legs to again try to catch Alameth off guard. His headache grew steadily causing him to only push himself harder to focus and stay alert.

Alameth took the opening diving up and under Perseus hind paws thrusting forward to pitch Perseus forward, then lunging after him before he had the chance to regain his footing snapping his vicious jaws at his exposed neck and levering himself to try and pin Perseus to the ground .

Perseus aimed a blow with his claw up onto Alameth's neck. Perseus's blood stained his now white fur. Perseus's headache vanished as his body split into the twins. Erebos stood above Apollo who was trapped by Alameth, his giant paws came down like hammers aiming for Alameth's head in an attempt to shake and rattle his focus.
