A world of that both the Dhampir, and adapted Humans live in in a type of coexistence. The planet is in a constant state of overcast, which due to certain atmospheric conditions, filters sunlight, separating visible light and UV rays, so the planet is in a constant state of semi darkness.There is an occurrence where once every year, the sun will be blocked by on of it's two moons, creating an eclipse for a full month, and it's second moon will orbit as normal and shine brightly. The combination of wavelengths from the first moon in eclipse with the second moon, clear the skys of all it's clouds, allowing the planet to see the shining moon, esclipse, stars and planets all around. Aside from this, the planet is strikingly similiar to old earth before the rising of modern technology, aside from changing seasons, it stays temperate all year round.

This unique enviroment renders all it's inhabitants with night vision, pale skin, and so forth. The month of clear skies and night holds the lunatic festival. All harvest and trade goods are brought from all around to many massive festical grounds, for all kinds of events, dhampir and human both. The world's culture is a combination between earthen humans of old, with what could be assumed of docile civilized vampires of human myth. This pretty much sums up the coexistence of the two races on the same planet. There are major hospitals and so forth, while there are also blood centers. With as much as other humans advance technology in their use and pace, the inhabitants of Impeila have done the same as well. But to a much greater degree, many geniuses residing on the planet.

The constant cloud cover over the planet has an ongoing storm within it's atmosphere of electricity and plasma, that renders passage through impossible, but appears calm moving clouds until one actually enters into them. It's only during the period of the festival that ships can travel to and from Impeila, which is once per year. Dhampir and the residing humans are a extremely independent people, prizing their freedom and loose goverment but strong unities.

Aside from that, Impeila has stayed an unexplored planet by the empire, except select outsider individuals, for a few reasons. The residents prizing their freedom, seeks to preserve it and so thusly have a planetary defense array. Many useful weapon types are built into satellites orbiting the planet, as well as massive defense cannons placed on the moons. The sheer number of defense installations that make up this array are impressive. Impeila will stay free of the Imperialist peoples of the Empire for as long as they are capable,though they would not last long against the might of the Imperial Fleet.
