I have a friend who I'm almost constantly in touch with because he's a fellow law student, and we tend to feed off each other's motivation. At times, it's like a friendly competition, but we do help each other a lot. Recently, though, he's become an a**. He seems to think he's superior to me in every way, shape and form. I work my a** off, and he takes the 'feed off Mitchell' approach. I help him more than he helps me. Yet, he seems to think he's a better writer than I am. He says that I 'write like a 12-year-old', and without a doubt, I am probably more capable than he is. He writes sloooowly (particularly when he has to type something up), uses archaic terms, adopts out-dated sentence structures, and still thinks he's better than me. So, I snapped at him the other day. Told him he's a jackass, and he's going to follow my lead when it comes to this assignment we have to do together. He agreed, but told me if it gets a low mark, it's on me. Oh, how wrong he will be! Annoying p***k.
