So how it rose to a grand level of "legendary" is beyond me. Seriously, ******** this band, there are no redeeming qualities about this band. At all. Discuss the suckiness of this suckfest band that doesn't deserve any of the credit it gets for its so-called "musical genius".

No, they're worse. They're stuck in 1991 and still think they're relevant. And post-punk is barely what they are, considering most of their songs sound like monkies banging on pots and pans, with no form of actual singing involved or any real attempt to even try to play their guitars.
I know you're gonna defend them to the end cuz you're a total artfag, and they play the art card hard but seriously, they're nonsense. Its almost like they did it as a dare to see how far they'd get before people walked out of the room. Little did they know, stoned grunge kids would s**t bricks for them.

Just watched the first 15 minutes of "1991: The Year Punk Broke", starring Sonic Youth... and turned it off. It was that bad. I don't even think this would be enjoyable for fans of the band. Its just utter bullshit and unwatchable. I just can not find a single reason to have any respect for this band.
