WotC announces new rating system: Planeswalker Point System

Find your current standings: Main Page

Was informed by a friend about this about an hour ago. I like it. Basically a yard stick for sanctioned tournament play instead of using the Chess-like rating system.

My Stats:
Battlemage lvl 41
11172 Lifetime Points
12 Competitive Points
0 FNM Points

Have been playing less. Been joining FNM for numbers (1-0 drop to protect rating).

What are your Stats?

I like this system much more than the old one.

Right now I'm a Level 20 Adept. I don't play much sanctioned as much as I want to due to low moolah.

I don't really play competitive, however i do go to the pre-releases, so i earn a couple of points from that!

I am currently ranked 11th in the World for FNM! Woot! mrgreen

Pretty sure FNM only takes place in the US of A but still Woot!

Nice I wanted to go to one real sanctioned tournament but I got sick the weekend it was so I had to miss it.

Also it seems I'm ranked #1 in my state with 100 point difference. I think I can get about 2700 points by the time this FNM season ends for that FNM Championship.

I recently started playing again so my rank is only 8. To bad all those old Arena Leagues don't count into it.
