Named after the legendary spear with the power of a million zanpakuto it harbors, the Sōkyoku Hill is an iconic, large, rocky mesa located at the center of Seireitei in Soul Society. The execution ground has a magnificent view on the rest of Seireitei and may be seen from miles away. Reaching the top is quite a feat considering its towering mass, but is is accessible by a long zigzagging staircase built into the side of the cliff and the suspended bridge linking it to the Shrine of Penitence. It is said that the mighty spear is harder to seal after each release so its uses are scarce and usually reserved for the execution of captains.
