i'm not fond of hummus, so i've never tried this recipe (i got it from a cooking class in high school). it could be spread in sandwiches, on pita bread as an appetizer, or maybe as a thicker sauce for other foods or even as a marinade/spread for meat.


Hummus

1 can chick peas, drained
2 cloves garlic, minced
juice and rind of 1 lemon
2 tbsp peanut butter
2 tbsp mayonnaise

Blend chick peas, garlic, lemon juice and rind in a food processor till smooth. Add mayo, peanut butter, salt and pepper to taste.
