i'm not sure how well this will translate to bento, since i've never tried it. but i imagine that if you cut up the strips to fit in the box, it would work well. given the need for grated apple in this recipe, it would be a nice pair to the Seasoned Apples recipe i posted in Sweet Foods.
Beef Yakiniku
3/4 lb Beef Loin, thinly sliced
1 tbsp grated apple
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp grated garlic
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp white sesame seed
Mix apple, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seed in a bowl. Marinate the beef in the sauce for 30 minutes. Heat a large skillet on high and stir-fry the beef.
Makes 4 Servings.
