Medios(pronounced as Me-dios) is a Medical manufacturing world that makes pretty much every type of medical supply sold in the galaxy. They have vast stockpiles and shipping facilities, usually for sending supplies to the Empire's various war zones or military units. They also manufacture and fit humans and aliens alike for cybernetic enhancement technologies, as well as performing a variety of genetic modifications. Nothing here comes cheap, however, and cybernetics and genetic modifications come at an extremely high cost. To even be considered, one must speak with the Lord Surgeon General, who resides in the Medios Tower, the primary hub of administrative activity, as well as the main operating suites, on the planet. With the advent of new cybernetic technology being discovered recently, more advanced models of cybernetics are now available. They are more expensive, but they are far better then the models currently in use, and far safer, due to the new compound developed that erases rejection and all other possible side effects. This new compound is also very expensive, and people wishing to upgrade themselves with new technology have to speak to the Lord Surgeon General, as well as jump through a few hoops for him. Then, he will allow access to the Advanced Cybernetics Medical Wing, where you can upgrade yourself with more efficient cybernetics, as well as more of them, though the trade off is extra weight and more vulnerability to EMP and electrical attacks.
